If you're quick you can mitigate almost all fire damage by diving, it puts out the fire

Funny thing is some players still try to stim themselves and end up burning to death, instead of fkn diving
Just spamming a whole mag into a horde of bugs Is super satisfying
It's also worth pointing out it's only light penetration but the incendiary damage also affects medium armor enemies.
It also has zero stagger, meaning stalkers and brood commanders will charge you straight through it!
They are welcome to.. they take more damage up close.
This is the main reason why I don’t like bringing it sometimes. I use the grenade pistol for bug holes. I hope stun grenades work on stalkers since I still need to unlock those.

Your the same guy that gets killed by a sentry turret, don't run in front of them and don't let anything close to you... then you won't be shot accidentally because nothing is close enough to kill you, 🙃 me and my friends all use sentrys and it makes the helldive mission so much easier 😅and none of us kill each other because we don't have smooth brains and don't run infront of a sentry or a team mate shooting fire through the air.
@@bradenfredrick2720 i can avoid sentries cuz i know where they will shoot, theres nothing i can do when my teammate decides to go full auto on a group i am standing in the middle of, they can just choose not to mow me down with the rest of the bugs.

You do you dude but after the recent-ish buffs to weapons and stratagems, I suggest trying something new. I did and I’m having leagues more fun

Try flamethrower on the front leg of any charger for 3-5 seconds. Trust me, you'll be shocked
After 100++ in game, try soo many gun.
My main is either incendiary shot gun or jar with explosive ish

I had a teammate that was like a SOLID distance from me fighting a swarm of bugs, and one single pellet flew a lightyear to me and set me on fire when I was already hella low

It's surprisingly good against Chargers, because as long as at least one of the tiny bullet bits hits an unarmoured part, it lights on fire. This means that often simply unloading an entire magazine into a charger's backside will be enough to kill it
it is effective against automatons. It easily kills their lightly armored soldiers, while anything else can be dealt with autocanon
This is the single best weapon in the game
against Terminids, yes!

since I've unlocked it I'm using exclusively for the bugs since it can deal with all types except for chargers and titans but there's the flamethrower and other stuff to deal with them, I tried it once by mistake with the automatos and it wasn't completely bad but yeah you need to get close and the fire damage doesn't exist against bots
You can still set chargers on fire and if you aim for the front legs you have a fairly reasonable time to kill.
Still not very efficient, but definitely possible.
Titans on the other hand...
Fire damage is decent for bots but you need the pellet damage. Aim for the hips for a lot better results.
Try running it along with the autocannon while using the IB almost entirely on troopers. A single pellet inflicts a guaranteed from fire, and it both interrupts and outpaces the dropship flare animation. AC can deal with everything else.
I used it once, set my fellow divers on fire, set MYSELF on fire, and remembered I am not to be trusted with fire. Liberator Penetrator is my go to

The breaker is absolutely an icon of balance that all weapons should strive for, it excels in 70% of encounters on difficulty 9 and that is how most primary weapons should be!
When fighting bugs, I *love* the incendiary breaker. That plus a supply pack and I can mag-dump to my heart's content. With the hordes cleared, I can take 3 anti-tank strategems of my choice to mow down anything and everything at all times. It's great.
It’s _very_ good against bots. A single pellet is a guaranteed fire-kill against troopers, but the real advantage is that it both interrupts and then outpaces the flare animation.
Run IB and an Autocannon. Probably one of the best all-around loadouts you could ask for against bots, and you’ll forget that you aren’t playing on a lower difficulty with how many fewer elites you have to fight by prioritizing troopers with the IB.
Breaker has always been a mid shotgun. Punisher is where it’s at. As soon as I noticed there was an Incendiary Punisher I KNEW I had to grab it, and I was NOT disappointed. This thing smacks stalkers around just as hard as the standard Punisher and even though it’s less effective on the bots, it stills staggers devastators with ease. Paired with the senator, HMG+Supply Pack, Commando, gas orbital and railgun orbital (if I don’t take the HMG or supply pack), and stun grenades??? THIS is a one-man army loadout
The SG-225 Breaker Incendiary is my second favorite primary weapon in the game right after the original SG-225 Breaker. The reason I like the original SG-225 Breaker more is because it does more damage so killing enemies is quicker and technically takes less ammo.

I know the red shells look like Buckshot but I'm fairly certain they're Dragon's Breath only because they don't pierce armor at all but will light them on fire. Dragon's Breath shoots mostly magnesium flakes and small bbs.

I pair this with the senator revolver and railgun or flamethrower. It’s a pretty solid all around build for when I just want to jump straight in.
While not ideal against clankers, the burning effect will deal damage to all kinds of devastators. Even a small hit can greatly weaken them.
It's THE gun that has tammed the bugs at this point. I would love to know how many bugs have fallen to this gun alone.
I run a full helldive with the BI vs automotons as my secondary weapon with an autocanon as primary. Works wonders on squishies and can soften medium level targets. 👍
The bullets THEMSELVES can't pierce heavy enemies however the fire can. But we're getting a whole new warbond called 'Freedoms' flame' that has incendiary primaries and secondaries.

Dont forget fire damage isnt affected by armor rating. You can burn bule titans and hulks to death with no pen.
I thought this was going to cover more. One thing in particular that I noticed is that it takes longer to switch to this weapon than many others. It's very noticeable for me since I vary my weapons often.
i only work on the bug front...this is the best (unless they nerf) tactical spray and pray. shoot, next target then go back to your original target...lets the fire work while you set the rest alight
Great vs bugs, definitely the best at crowd control vs them. I rock this with some anti-armour strats + orbital barrage 70 sec cooldown for bug breeches
I use it for bots and bugs. One pellet sets enemies on fire. Can take out large groups of regular troops. Berserker even devastators just hit burn run they die. Anything bigger use a stratagem. Or the support. I run a machine gun usually with a rover. Grenade pistol and incendiary impact.
The breaker is amazing against the chainsaw fuckers. Genuinely only picked it to fight against them.
it's amazing against automatons. take a laser cannon, auto cannon, amr, or hmg for devs n up and the incendiary can destroy entire patrols of little guys in two shots with DoT. this is hugely useful, as you can clear a whole field of them for your squad mates and still have your support weapon for everything else. It also debuffs devs and can kill them and berserkers when they're in ur face. i take it almost exclusively against bots cuz i usually take the laser cannon or hmg
If anyone is telling you that its useless against bots, he is lying to you. That thing slays.
This weapon is easily the best primary for bugs and out performs most support weapons for ad clear. It's usless for bots but otherwise completely OP.
Cons: No medium armor penetration, doesn't buff other weapons, doesn't fix bugs, doesn't remove crashes

Occasionally, even helldivers need to taste a little democracy.
Using any load out means you’re on the way to becoming an elite helldiver. Using the same load out because your favorite CZcamsr says so means you never found your true skills yet. It’s not the weapon, it’s you. Most weapons require high skill ceiling. It’s not that they’re not effective, it’s cuz you’re using it wrong! Stop spraying 10-15 bullets at an enemy that requires 2 shots to die. Etc

Nah nah nah, I actually really love using this shotgun against the automatons. It may not outright kill with the pellets often, but I'm frequently amazed at just how much damage Fire can do to even the heavier-armored enemies (obviously not factory walkers or tanks). Even if it takes time, Fire burns just as well on those bastard bots as it does on the befouled bugs.
Full flame builds are fun vs bugs... this + flamethrower, eagle that drops fire, incendiary impact grenades
This and stalwart for bugs is my go to. Then stratagems for big boys.

Contact grenades... especially fire one seems to work rather well against bot and bug opponents. Just be careful not throwing it too close.
It’s getting to the point where the lore is the only reason most people still play. Devs need to do something, fast.
It doesn't stagger and has relatively low direct damage. You need to give time to allow the burn to do it's work. Spewers and Brood Commanders take a lot of shots. Overall, it is a very good weapon for bugs. I also like the Punisher shotgun for bigger damage and knockback, but have leaned more to the breaker incendiary mostly.
I've lost track of how many times I've been sprayed by these by careless teammates. I haven't unlocked it yet and run the breaker against bugs, so I tend to get teamkilled by these and strategems a lot when covering chokepoints.

well with that skill you've melt them evenfaster with the original SG-225 Breaker (the normal one)
If you stun a brute commander with a stun grenade and shoot the tail you can take them out as well.
Oh well, the breaker incendiary is the best PvP weapon, guaranteed I never could make it alive while my fellow Helldivers were playing with it
I brought it with me to a bots mission on accident thinking I was going be the one getting cooked and still somehow I left with the most kills. It’s a good turn around and tap the enemy as your running away but to charge a base of bots ? Yea idk about that one lol
My only real experience with this thing is having to deal with teammates using it who don’t know how to watch their background. I’ve been set on fire more times by this than by any other source… maybe even combined…

I’ve had good experiences with it against automatons but I have killed a few teammates accidentally lol
It's super effective against shreikers
This is the weapon that turned me off support weapons entirely. It is better against bugs than anything else I have tried, except maybe orbital gas strike, and the fire is good against bots as well.
I use the scorcher against bots for range and to handle walkers from the front, but if I forget to switch, it is no great harm.
It's an absolute boss against bots.
Clears an entire dropship of troopers and striders before they even land.
It is better than most primaries.
Learn to use it.
Another con is that it doesnt stun enemies like the punisher
Punisher is also not meant for crowd control like this breaker model. You could just as easily use stun grenades
Fire shotgun aka *SG-225IE BREAKER* Is my choose since beggining as a primary weapon and I didn't change that from beggining 😂

Fire breaker ain’t terrible. Honestly though I still use the base breaker the most. It’s ammo is ass but it’s still a really solid shotgun

That’s my favorite weapon in the whole game and I use it on everything even bots! I find it to be quite effective against both and the times it can’t take out the enemy that’s when I snipe them with my grenade pistol
