When I visited the restaurant, Kang Sunja auntie asked me if it’s okay for me to sit together with another army who also came alone. Then she gave us a free tofu stew for us to share💜 The restaurant even have Bangtan Bibimbap as one of their specials!

Something to remember is that V was a hidden member of the team. Big hit didn’t want to reveal him until the debut. So in a pre-debut vlog where Jimin was talking about the members one by one he couldn’t mention V. And there was no V pre-debut vlogs. He was always there but not on camera.
I remember seeing somewhere that V did record vlogs but none of them were posted. Dunno where to find them though.

Did you guys forgot??? Taehyung was the hidden member and a secret that's why he never appeared on the predebut logs.
V was a hidden member, so even though he trained and lived with the boys for years, no one outside of the company knew he was a member. For that reason, in all their pre-debut content you won’t see V and none of the members ever discuss him.
V was finally announced when BH dropped the official countdown for BTS’ debut and released the pictures of all the members (from the photo shoot from this episode).
This series shows what JK meant to FESTA (??? I'm not quite sure) that RM really struggled and worried a lot when they debut (in their earliest days/years) as he was the leader of their group. I think he worries a lot because of those people who look down on them. He wants to prove that they are all wrong. His determination to succeed really shows in this series. Cuz me too, that what I will feel especially if my peers humiliate me in front of other artists and tons of audiences. So, I really admire his determination and courage. I want to say to him that He did a great job and I am proud of him. He carried those responsibilities at a young age. Now, I understand why Jungkook always thanks him and admires him the most.
10:10 at that time RM, Suga, J-Hope were already part of it (they became trainees of Big Hit in 2010) and before this second audition other trainees were supposed to be part of the group
Just one reminder that a lot of this info is general and not necessarily the same for all entertainment companies. big hit is obviously very different in training than some of the other agencies.

On his 25th anniversary concert, Seo Taiji and the boys literally have a whole concert with 7 members of BTS instead of "2 of his boys" 😅 Seo Taiji who's considered as a pioneer and a leader of 1st generation of kpop idols basically passes them the torch and gave his blessings as a leader of this generation 😂

Very random but the youtube channel "Waleska Herrera" who also does reaction videos to BTS, as well as other music and their own original stuff, have a weekly podcast called Feature Friday that just recently, for example, had the drummer for BTS on and they just mentioned on their live stream that they would love to have you on their podcast so I thought I would comment and let you know just in case you guys were at all interested I would love to hear what the four of you would talk about 💜
Seeing young BTS makes me smile but also hurts my heart 😭💕 We'll never know how much pain they go thru or what criticism they faced. But we can always send them happy messages and support them! BTS will always be kings! 💜
Taehyung used to sit next to the trash can. He was kept for a long time because Bang-pd doesn't want him to be stolen or what. He serve as BTS gem. It hurts to watch some of their old log because he wasn't there or he was never been mention not until they debuted. They all suffered, some wanted to leave but god said “let this 7 boys shine and make other people shine” and I'm glad that after years of hard work, pain and waiting, they are now in a place full of happiness together with us, ARMY'S. Yeah exactly why i love this series as well. Been almost 3 yrs army but i still often get surprised by never before seen footage. And since i really just haphazardly binged any and all content during my baby army period, its also so refreshing to have all those organized and laid out in a cohesive timeline and touching narrative

Can you react to “BTS vs Kpop” by bby gang. His videos are utterly phenomenal, and I’d love it if you could check out his other videos out as well about Kpop & BTS. They are so well-researched and non biased. He does the work that so many western reporters don’t when researching and explaining BTS and Kpop. He encapsulates so well how truly phenomenal BTS is in the Kpop industry, the pop industry, and the music industry as a whole. It helps that with how well he does his research, he shows so much respect for eastern concepts and their impact on the western world. It’s beautiful.
I've watched all 7 episodes. I thought I couldn't love all 7 of them more. I was so wrong. It's a beautiful documentary series and i'm so excited for when the makers come back from their rest and planning of future episodes. So excited that you're watching it all.

Well, about Seo Tai Ji and BTS : Seo Tai Ji the legend actually passed the "baton" (so to speak) to the Bangtan Boys in his 25th anniversary concert. BTS affectionately called Seo Taiji as "Father" (he's the same age as JK father if I am not mistaken). And BTS did perform the cover of Seo Tai Ji's Come Back Home, which I believe you guys have reacted to it.
i almost cried at the beginning of the video because they use B.A.P's No Mercy instrumental as BGM 😭😭😭 i became a kpop stan because of them i miss them so much

Jungkook was a fetus😭 And he always admired his hyungs so much. All the boys worked their butt off to reach the place that they are in right now.
As already mentioned in the previous comments, BTS was featured in the 25th Anniversary concert of Seo Taiji and as you already know Seo Taiji is kind of the father of Kpop in SK so it's needless to say that it was truly an honor for BTS to be chosen to perform with him, even other celebrities were envious and amazed by it.
Also a fun fact, the old lady who owned the restaurant that they were always at during their trainee days STILL honors and supports them to this day. She always celebrates every member's birthdays by putting like an altar of pastries / food items in her restaurant with the member's pictures on them, i'm not sure if they're for sale though lol.
Oh and yes, Taehyung was a hidden member at the beginning that is why he wasn't included in their pre-debut logs. Correct me if i'm wrong but I watched somewhere that the reason behind it is because BH didn't want other agencies to steal Taehyung away from BTS once they discovered him, hence he was only revealed on their official debut.

The other groups that debuted in those big companies were going to be famous yes or yes but bts had an uncertain future, they were cut from programs, in fact, bts' debut was because a group did not appear in a musical show.

You should Watch "The Rookie King".This was BTS's Tv show after or before their debut, I don't possibly remember. They show their life as a trainee and play games and stuff. It would be really helpful and you can also know them better,

Familia!! Seo taji passed the torch to bts. After so many years and so many kpop artists, he chose only bts. "Come back home" is an original song of seo taji and the boys and bts made an official cover of that. Bts and seo taeji are close. They performed on seo taeji's 25th year anniversary concert and in a show, they revealed that seo taeji told them to call him dad coz he is 1 year younger than jk's dad..

The "sending trainees home" really reminds me of NFL training camps and all the cuts that happen...
Stanning with them since 2014 makes me cry everytime they achieve something. The sacrifices and hardships they went through are still fresh in my mind. Our boys deserves everything they have now, I'm crying. They worked really hard now and then. Let's continue showing them our love💜

While Taehyung wasn't revealed until later he was still in the background of videos and living with the group. I think Jimin was the last member to actually join because he had the shortest training period. Taehyung was actually there before Jimin. Also Yoongi mentioned how he always felt like he had to sort of play up being this happy energetic person. I see Yoongi as more of a chill and relaxed personality rather than sleepy and low energy. He's just not that rambunctious and I think that's fine.

You probably figured it out by other comments but yeah Tae has been with them for a while, he was kept as "hidden member" so when they did group logs he wasn't there, because he was a "secret". Its also why Jimin didnt mention him when he was talking about the members. But yeah he was still there, we just didnt get to see or know about him. This is talked about more in Chapter 2 of this series.
While seeing the past videos of BTS I just really want to thank you to the 💜army💜 who support 💜BTS💜 and fight for them at that time 🙂🙂🙂.

One thing I will say is that all the trainee information was like general information like what a typical company would fix but bighit was not same because BTS already had some talents they just had to work hard to get themselves noticed in that big3 era.

Just wanted to mention that Kim Taehyung was a member of BTS and a trainee during the footage and logs you saw. The reason he was absent and members did not mention him was because he was kept as a secret member up until debut. The public had no idea there was a seventh member, they audience thought BTS would debut as a 6 member group. Members were not allowed to talk about him during logs just in case it got out, which is the reason why Jimin does not mention V.
Also, BTS actually did a concert alongside Seo Taiji. The member performed multiple songs with him in stage. Prior to this, BTS releases a cover/remix of the song Come Back Home (there is an MV and live performance of this song). You can actually find footage of Seo Taiji and BTS practicing for the concert together. The audience at the concert who are fans of Seo Taiji and most of them from his generation were really impressed with BTS.
They also have deleted scenes. Maybe you could add those on at the end of your reactions please! 💜
