Hey poly, I've been loving bard this season. The support item is super useful and the tank items are op. Ended up getting to d4 with bard, with 70% WR so far with deadmans and the galio shield mr item. Thoughts on the new items, which fit for bard?
Bard was the first main I fell in love with, and seeing this tech makes me want to pick him up again

So here's my rant :
It's actually crazy the lack of adaptability most junglers have, for a role where decision making is everything. How often do you see junglers cancel or skip a camp when needed, or change their pathing to better impact an unforeseen play that becomes an opportunity ? It's very rare. I used to main jungle myself, but my playstyle is very different from the junglers I (usually) get (my jungle style is a lot of invading and ganking when there's a need or opportunity, and using laners' tempo to set up coordinated plays) Most junglers usually just :
- Afk farm most of the time, following a predefined clearpath they've made up in their mind and will follow stubbornly no matter what happens ;
- force ganks at bad timings after their clear, often disrespecting ennemy laner and lane state ;
- lack proactivity, as in, actually making the effort to create or identify opportunities to make a favourable play happen ;
- also lack reactivity, as they won't react to a play happening in their reach even though it was very predictable and called for by teammates ahead of time ;
- don't communicate with their laners, about their intentions, or their laners' intentions ;
- are oblivious to lane states, win conditions and any opportunity that isn't directly created by them or part of their game plan.
I hate to see that lack of adaptability and tunnel vision, as if they were just following an overly simplistic algorithm that just isn't adapted to the game's complexity. Like, just make the effort to think, I know it's just a game and it's supposed to be for fun, and most players just wanna have a good time and turn the brain off a little, but a big part of this game is about strategy, that thinking is what makes it interesting and fun. Imagine playing chess with brain afk, like what's the point ? If you don't wanna think about the strategic part of the game and just want a fun time without the effort of thinking, play some hack n slash game like Diablo, or a fighting game like smash bros, or just play normal games or aram

3:00 I mained jungle for awhile and this is 100% so true. Often I like to invade or gank early if i see my laners are in a good position to. It helps that enemy junglers really struggle to respond properly when you play an aggressive jungle rather than ghost farming for a full clear
Every gank is a gamble, you gank bot and give up gromp. You don't have lvl 4 for scuttle. If your bot wants a gank or not, is it garentee. If you failed the gank it set you back against enemy jug so much.

How much sensivity and dpi do u have?
Hey Poly! Longtime fan as well has a 900K mastery Emerald 2 bard main here. I've found a strat that I thought you should potentially test out. Depending on lane, if they're heavy on poke and/or heal any damage you do to them aka senna+soraka. I would recommend that you put an extra point into W early game. Even just a single extra level in W nearly doubles it's healing. Often I'll put down several W's in the back after unlocking it level 2 and if we take a heavy trade, I'll put my level 3 into W a second time instead of unlocking E. Since E is a great escape tool as well as an engage, this is only into lanes where you're always being shoved into and constantly poked. I've found that while yes, your Q does less damage until you're level 5. The massively increased healing from your W seriously out weights the lost damage from Q. I know your go to build is zhonyas first item, but I want you to maybe try out my own personal build on Brad. Lucidity boots first, Redemption second, and either locket or Kaenic Rookern depending on the enemy team comp. Support item choice is flexible, but I much prefer Solstice Sleigh because ingenius hunter reduces it's cooldown dramatically. For runes I prefer running spellbook with Ingenuous Hunter (you can choose the rest yourself). After redemption and locket, the build can flex around heavily on either healing-based items or tank. I really feel like redemption is a heavily slept on item, especially as a first item. No one expects it at level 8, I've flipped so many fights back into our favor with it from across the map. Plus, the synergy of your ult being 2.5 seconds and redemption taking 2.5 seconds is really really convenient. It's cooldown is also really low especially with ingenious hunter+Lucidity boots. Just thought I would potentially inspire you to test out something new :D. Best of luck my fellow chime collector!

but as he is he really is broken, i solo killed a 1 item 1 level ahead kayn yesterday as frozen heart bard with no ignite or ult, just purely auto + q + w with bloodsong 💀
