Macenna and friends, when you’re looking at beautiful art like the octopus chandelier it be more expensive, because of the amount of WORK it takes to create. The lamp is hand-carved, then it’s taken to a foundry, then ALL the cleanup and polishing. These are labors of love and an investment of REAL art. 💕🌸

My great aunties lived in and owned a beautiful home on Hawthorn Ave between Sunset and Hollywood blvd from the late 1800 to about 1975 and my mom remembers that every door had a beautiful glass door nob. Fun to think maybe some of them are in that store 😊

Hi MaCenna! I love watching your videos, but just one thing…..the plants outside are not plants for direct sun, they need to be root bound, so smaller pot, and add a stick to tie them with so they grow straight and strong, try not to cut the leaves. Have an awesome day!

Looking at all that vintage hardware reminds me of the apartment my husband and parents were renting before we married. It was a converted Vanderbilt home. It was split into 4 apartments
It had all the original doorknobs, marble staircases and converted wall sconces from gas to electric
Beautiful woodwork and expensive brass fixtures. They sure spared no expense
I love the octopus chandler too! How unique and so beautifully done.
I love how Macenna's language in the fancy place turned to "its so neat/its so cool" rather than "its so pretty" for the usual thrift/antique places!😂Love how eclectic your style is between modern and antique. And big yes to seeing you DIY that lamp for your momma in the future!

MaCenna!! That store you & your mom went to (Blackman Cruz) has a website & I saw your wooden ball lamps and if you click on them & scroll down past the price *cough, cough - steep price! Anyways, scroll down and you can download the specs so you have sizes of the pieces. Thought that would be helpful if you ever decide to make one. The artist that made them is Lika Moore, click on her name and all her pieces come up. I saw so many awesome things in your video that I just had to find the website! I love the drippy little table! Such a cool, unique place!

LOL so during break-time with out kids we put our 3yo down in his crib (he can't climb out) and he fell asleep really fast, our eldest son returned to school, and our middle son (he's 5 and a bit) sat down in the sitting room with me, while i was re-watching some of the newer videos you have uploaded these last few weeks.
i totally fell asleep (it's been a bit of a crazy week AND i'm pregnant LOL) and woke up an hour later, with my sweet, sweet 5yo boy sitting next to me, watching you painting your sitting room milstone grey haha! thanks for babysitting i guess
