Oh wow, great looking and designed presses. Question... Would the Hummingbird series presses be good for a cold press on demand juice bar?
Im looking for Juicers and Goodnature has been on my radar for a while now. Thank you for engineering such great looking and practical machines.

Can John Kohler from Discount Juicers, do a juicer review of the Hummingbird?

I’m planning on opening a Juicery in the UK and at the moment looking for the right juicer. How many bags would you need per week for example if you were making say 100 16oz bottles per day? Or can you reuse the bags after cleaning them? So far I’ve never used a bag and press juicer so completely new to them.

You can choose either single use bags (sort of like coffee filters), or reusable bags. The reusable ones must be washed, rinsed, and sanitizing so it takes extra labor and care to make sure they are clean and safe.

What is the actual pressure measurement? How does it compare to pure juicer ?

No comparison to the pure juicier at all in my experience. I have the Pure and just got the M-1, which can be thought of as an older version of the Hummingbird Pro. My M-1 has similar yields as the Pure, but I can make the same amount of Juice in literally 75-80% less time. Also less than 1 minute to clean the M-1 after juicing. Also much, much less work. No folding and unfolding bags. No babysitting the press while juicing to make sure you don't blow out the bag. If you're thinking of spending $2,500 on a Pure Juicer, spending an extra $400 to get the Hummingbird Pro is a no-brainer.

The pressure is variable. The press is intelligent and adjusts speed and pressure while it's working. The biggest advantage vs pure is going to be the user experience while operating and cleaning, and the volume of juice you can make in one juicing session is substantially more on hummingbird.

@@mikede2464so, you’re saying it takes a lot less time to make juice vs the pure? Because this one seems to make smaller qty of juice per hr vs the pure juicer

@@melaniesimeon7107 I personally noticed no difference between the quantity made on my M-1 and my Pure. That being said, there is simply no comparison at all between the time it takes to make a juice on the Pure compared to this juicer. From prep to completly-done-cleaning, I can make 40 oz of Juice on my M-1 in 10 minutes; on my Pure it takes me 40. Even if the Goodnature did make less juice than the Pure, it wouldn't make any difference: the Goodnature is simply so massively faster at everything else. I'm not affiliated with the Goodnature company at all, but I must say the only reason I believe this company has not taken over the home juicing market is because (I suspect) they don't want to anger their current commercial customer base. If they created a separate brand and went head-to-head against Pure such that the average person at home knew about this juicer, I really do believe Pure would be out-of-business; the M-1 is that good. The Pure juicer-even though it's better than the Norwalk- is still based on the Norwalk's design which is approaching 50+ years old. My Pure is slow, messy, and a hassle to clean. Hope all that helps.
