After the maintenance and commercial, something unfamiliar appeared on the screen. I have an N symbol in the transmission screen, then to the letter E. The first experience of this malfunction, can anyone help?

Not sure what you mean by commercial? What year is your spyder?

The letter "E" appearing instead of a gear means that your gearbox position sensor malfunctioned. If N+R are flashing quickly this means your Spyder can not determin what gear it is in. This most of the time means your (GBPS) sensor malfunctioned or is failing. It is best to take it to a dealer as soon possible if under warranty. Service manuals show the cause could be damaged circuit wires, damaged gear position sensor, damaged ECM pins or damaged transmission.
The only way to really diagnose is if you have "B.U.D.S" and this is also the way to fix it as well.
Dont play around to much with this error code because you can seriously damage your Spyder.
      Hope this helped.

That’s way to much work .. rather just replace

Thanks for the comment and understand completely. Just make sure to replace around 6 months and if you have dirt roads or paths you go on, do so sooner. I have actually tested on a dyno for cars and the filter does increase 10 hp in mustangs. I would be interested in how much HP extra it gives the Spyder.
