Over the last few days I'm seeing that when I have a question concerning my next fixed blade, you guys made a vid about it... For the monent still on the fence between Winkler, Fox and T.Kell, but I'm impressed by what you are doing.
Thank you very much for your time, effort and passion !
I design my blades to fill what I kept finding was a need for blades like these. I make the videos for the same reason, I just couldn’t find the information on what I was looking for so I’m trying to pass on what I’ve learned and make a quality American made blade to match. Thank you for the feedback.
Night stalker and the striker speak to me…. They whisper “Buy me. You need me in your life….”
I have no problem with that.
Great vid. This is very helpful if your looking at his blades. Took me about 3 wks (and much research) before I decided what I wanted. Lol. Ended up ordering a Combatant. Can't wait for it to come in.
Thank you. They should ship this week.
Just found your channel and instantly fell in love with your knife designs, now I'm trying to convince myself to get 2 as a Birthday present to myself in the future. I'm thinking a Combatant for appendix carry and a Nightstalker on the hip. Thank you for your service
Thank you very much. I’m honored, those at both excellent choices
Really loved your booth at Atlanta Blade Show. My first time going to one of the shows. I purchased the Night-stalker for myself. Being a female it wasn’t too heavy, felt comfortable in my hand. What sold me is the lady who showed me how you can put it in your Yoga pants in the phone pocket. As I wanted this for being outdoors. Great product and company! Loved that your veteran owned
Thank you so much! We really enjoyed meeting you all today!
Howdy n thanks Tim! Have NightHawk and three different ones on order! Great stuff!
Another great video! Thanks Tim!
Thank you Brother
I enjoyed this video . I was wondering about all the knives and their functions. It was very helpful.
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I'm loving the Striker! Gonna have to get me one! 💪⚔️
Thanks for the knowledge Tim and thank your wife for running the camera. Just ordered the Mercenary can’t wait to get it.
Thank you Sir.
Beautiful beautiful video, I really want that piranha, I can’t wait for it to be back in stock
Thank you.
Thanks for the info man.
i have enjoyed carrying the combatant ! excellent EDC !
Thank you very much.
Just found your stuff. Knifehead from Ga. Vid was very helpful.
Thank you. Let me know if you have any more questions.
THIS is the video I was searching for
I’m glad it helped. I need to do an updated one to include the new stuff
@@TkellKnives looking forward to watching it.
Ty for this
Yep. I'm one of the peeps this video was made for.. thanks Tim
I’m glad it was helpful.
I needs me one. Been thinking about it a while.
I chose the nightstalker cg. I do like the variety of hanlde color choices. My next one will be the combatan soon.
Thank you sir. Both great blades.
I'm waiting for tomorrow's buying window. I've been wanting a Stryker for a year.
Thank you in advance. It’s an honor that you’d wait that long for something I make.
great knifes. But there is no need to watch the old videos. because you can't get the knifes 95% out of stock. But for some reason I still do!!
They all do comeback in stock eventually. You have to watch the videos while you wait, otherwise how will you know which ones to snatch up when we send the emails telling you they are available again. If you’re not on the email list that’s where the announcements come. We’re releasing a lot of blades for reservation very soon.
Where's the Night Huntsman? Such a cool looking knife, but now sure how practical it is. Would love to hear what your thought process was when you created it. What purpose did you have in mind? Thank you.
They weren't in stock for the video. Cleavers are all the rage and after having several requests for an EDC cleaver I built one on the Nightstalker handle platform. Other than the basic uses of a blade, I'm not sure that the Huntsman has a particular category that it fits into other than fulfilling customer request. It is a cool looking blade and people do like them
I will own the huntsman practical or not who cares it is amazing
@@TkellKnives what is the weight of the huntsman???
I’ve never weighed it. I’ll do it and get back to you.
4.3 oz
Is the second last blade you described available in Canada?the tcq I think. I would like one but it looks like it may be on the restricted list
I ship everywhere, but I'm not sure about your particular laws. It avoids the dirk and dagger laws here
Some of us are used to carrying 11 inches 😆😉
So I'm thinking of getting your Warthog model some time later this year (great looking knives by the way) but I had a question;
On your website it lists the dimensions of the Warthog as being "7 inches overall with a 3.75 inch blade" (meaning the handle would be 3.25 inches) but it appears to have the same EDC handles as your Tanto model which is listed as having a 3.75 inch handle.
I was wondering which of these is correct and what the true length of the Warthog's handle is, as 3.25 inches is too small for my liking but 3.75 inches should be just big enough for me, so it really makes a difference. Or is the Tanto model just bigger overall including the handle?
Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the compliments. The overall length of the blade includes the ricasso and choil which don't account for either the blade length (sharpened edge) or the handle. The warthog is on the same handle platform as the tanto. Also the Raider, Striker, and Taylors Ridge share that same handle. The grips are completely interchangeable between all of those. The handle length is 3.87 technically. However the deep front finger well and the shape of the hilt allow for a full hand grip. I hope this helps.
@@TkellKnives That's very helpful, thank you. I really enjoy having a full 4-finger grip on fixed blades so the specific measurements can often make a difference. I'll look into picking up a Warthog or poooossibly a Nightstalker later this year. Keep u the good work.
Piranha is probably the most unique in this line. No other company came up with idea of small but strong knife. Pl make it 165 thick call it baby shark!!
Thank you
Ordered a nightstalker cqc today. I was in a hurry because I didn’t want them to sell out before I got my order in. I went with the standard steel and I’m wondering if I should’ve went with the AEB-L. What are you thoughts between those 2 steels? The extra $25 really isn’t that much more.
Glad I found your knives. That 3-6 month wait is going to sting tho!
Thank you! It’s not $25 extra anymore. It may not be updated yet on facebook/instagram but should be everywhere else. The 80crv2 and AEBL are both excellent. Only go with AEBL if you really need a stainless. I think you will be happy with 80crv2.
@@TkellKnivesWhich blade steel do you prefer? I’ll be ordering one of your knives once they become available and wanted your take on the different steels. Thanks
What is the nighthawk best for?
A lot of people use it as an EDC blade for everything. By design a Tanto is a piercing blade with a very strong tip.
Nice knives. Why not make the grip base flat for power assist use?
I do have other blades with that design feature
@@TkellKnives which ones would you say are the best fit there
Share video on how o keep knife on belt and you can’t see it.
Have you seen my concealed carry video?
I like the grip, guard, and the beefy tip of the blade on the Mercenary, but it is a little too long for my carry lengths, and I am no fan of the large choils. I think the Striker is a good EDC carry with my concealed carry pistol. I like the horizonal carry clips for this, but the handle is under 4." I checked all of my knives, and none were under 4" except for my Swiss Army style folder. I really like 4-5." On the fence but I like a lot about the knife.
The Mercenary is a field knife not so much an EDC blade. The large choil serves as an additional finger well when using a choke grip to aide in detail work, however if you don't need you blade for that use it won't impede your blades function in any way. It gives the blade more cross-functionality.
The handle on the Striker needs to be felt rather than compared on mere measurements to be understood. It is designed for CCW to allow for your pinky finger to wrap the last portion of the grip rather than extend past it. It significantly reduces print which is key to CCW, but still allows for a full handle grip without the unnecessary length found in all other blades, which is why none of your other blades grips have the same dimensions as mine. They don't design around the shape of your hand they just repackage what everyone else has done.
@@TkellKnives Thanks for the info.
@@TkellKnives My observations were not meant as criticisms. They were meant to inform you of a potential customer's buying opinion.
I didn't take them as criticisms. My answers were to inform you why my blades are designed the way they are, and that they are functionality developed from actual use and need to be compared in the hand rather than on the paper.
@@TkellKnives At this point I have changed my mind about the knives being offered. No further communication is necessary.
You need to state which color grips are on each knife so we can see and understand which each color looks like and it's name.
I’ll do that on an updated video. I show a lot of them on my live videos also. Thanks
Tkell, have a quick question? Do you or would you ever be interested in doing a karambit blade just curious?
I've had many requests for them so I'm not ruling it out.
@@TkellKnives copy that look forward to seeing what surprises you come up with. If you make them I’d order 4 right out the gate. The steel you produce is some of the highest quality craftsmanship I’ve ever seen . The way of the blade has been a study of mine for the past 2 decades and I have 2 of your blades and they are the ones I carry incase they need to be used for there in tended purposes.
Thank you very much. I have 5 designs that I'm excited to try out. Maybe I'll release the sketches and take a vote on which one you guys would like best.
@@TkellKnives that’s actually a really neat idea . That’s pretty cool too use your followers as a quasi focus group. I like the idea .
You should have made the video sooner I couldn't decide which one so I bought em all
Now that wouldn't have benefited me much would it lol.
Me too!
You both become addicts
When will the Piranha be back in stock?
Just added 9. Not sure why they were showing out of stock
Do you ship to canada ?
Almost daily
Okay stupid question , I checked out your website these blades are made in the USA correct ??
It’s not a stupid question. Yes my blades are 100% made in the USA from American made materials by me and my very small team. There are too many companies that outsource their blades to china and that is something I refuse to do.
@@TkellKnives Thankyou Sir , you got my business 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you very much, I’m honored. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
If I can only have them all lol
Rewatching again. Please update 🤞
Coming soon
@@TkellKnives Appreciate you, thanks!
This did not help at all. I was down to 2 now up to six. Thanks for the info though. Really love the look of the knives and the videos.
Put all 6 in your Christmas list and give it least 6 people. Thank you
Striker vs combatant lol.
If you had to pick 2 knives to carry would you carry
-Leather MultiTool with NightGaurd
-NightGaurd with Piranha
-Leatherman MultiTool with Piranha
@TkellKnives
I’d carry all of these on different days. I always have a leatherman on me and a couple of my knives.
Thanks @TkellKnives
