Only a fool would think you’re afraid of dogs 😂. You have done an amazing job building a relationship with this dog. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge!
I have loved seeing Mace's progress. I've learned so much from watching you and listening to you. I bet Mace is so glad he met you, someone who really understands him.
True story..my dog is shy doesn't let people pet him you might think he is scared of you..but if you dare to come near my apartment he is all over you you wouldn't believe its the same dog.
My dutch shepherd was the same way. He thought he was tough shit when he arrived at our house - would try and bite the humans and dogs through the crate - but softened pretty quickly and ended up being a very loving dog. And this was just a pet dog that we adopted with very little drive, so I can only imagine the intensity of a serious working dog like Mace. I think it boils down to the insecurity involved with being in a new home.
Wow ,that didn't take long !! Your being cautious means you're experienced !!! Has nothing to do with being scared.??..Dont listen to the stupid comments... He's a REALLY nice dog !! Happy that he's working out so well for you ! You sound so excited !!! Love your energy and enthusiasm...cant wait to see Mase next week !! 😊
Wow I'm really impressed with your training with him he has come a long way he needs a good trainer like you to teach him keep up the good work God bless you
Love this series. Seeing the trust between you & Mace grow with each video is amazing to see. Excited to see the progression between you two and obedience & bite work. Great video 😚💖
Excellent job,he actually trusts you now a bit and wants to work...Stable behavior in work too....the netherland “conqueror” types are a breed of handlers that started 40-50 years ago and probably will never go away, they are not in any breeders top fav list at all and thats enough said...keep up the good work
He has all the positive attributes of the breed , he truly is a great specimen. With your ability as a breeder, and if you decided to breed him (hint, hint) it would help bring up the quality of the Dutch Shepherd 💪
BIG SUGGESTION: Bro don’t feel like you need to explain yourself regarding dog training. I can’t think of someone who puts up as many, real time observations, as you do. Your experience, respect, and understandings of these caliber dogs + being actually uploaded to the public via CZcams is something special. You give out information in a way that is real and easy to understand. No need to address the people who just hate any longer. Thanks for the effort.
Awesome video. Love these Mace videos. And I love the being careful of cars analogy you use. No trainer worth their salt would push smarts and safety aside just to walk into a cage with a dog that’s showing aggression towards them
Ha, be less humble and use more compulsion right from go says the guy who’s never been ripped up handling a real badass. You’ve done a great job with him! The respect between dog and handler is clearly mutual. Very cool!
Do you see Mace sticking around? My corso Drago has a similar story in terms of being super reactive of certain things because of lack of exposure to them, and I got him at 1 1/2 years old. He's 22 months now and I couldn't imagine him being rehomed again, to anyone.
What did those critical people want you to do? Mace looked like he would've gone after you for real and a serious dog bite isn't a joke, it's not gonna leave you with just some scratches.
Lol spme dogs are food driven, some dogd ball driven, Mase is Bote driven lol bite bite bite love to bite lol beautiful dog glad he is friendly now enoyed it
Top video as always Haz, I'm curious to why you want less twisting during biting? You said to conserve energy but I encourage it with my mal , my thinking is if he ever had to do it for real he's gunna do more damage in a shorter amount of time. Would like to hear your thoughts on that and why it isn't preferable. First time working dog owner you've helped me a lot sir. Thank you.
I thought all Dutch Shepherds were brindle. Is there brindle in his coat that just isn't coming through in the video? Just curious I'm really enjoying this series on Mace btw!
In KNPV if the dog is a square-built dog with a dark brown coat with any black besides the face and has a longer muzzle and erect ears it’s a Dutch Shepherd. It wasn’t until the early 1900s when the Chien De Berger Beige and GSDs came over to the Netherlands did the Dutch Shepherd get a standard. So since they didn’t have genetic testing back then if the dog wasn’t brindle or adjacent coloring it would get registered as a Malinois, Groenendael, Laekenois, or Tervuren. So anyways because of that and the fact that the Dutch didn’t have much money (WW1/WW2 furthered the poverty) many mixed breeds were in KNPV ‘cause people either couldn’t afford to register the dogs or simply couldn’t afford a purebred in the first place. So while IGP was formed as a means of testing purebred GSDS, KNPV was the opposite. It was largely unregistered dogs/registered dogs with minimal proof they were the breed they were registered as and purely used as a means of testing a working dog instead of simply testing and registering one singular purebred dog breed. (I know the punctuation stank in that and it was a lot more information than necessary, so sorry ‘bout that)
These dogs are looking less and less Dutch, he should be brindle, he should be smaller, his snout is too square. I dont know why they insist on calling them Dutch. When you see a true Dutch you know it, also they have no rear dew claw...the true sign of a Dutchie! I wonder what they are crossing in with these dogs for the size?
Oh my!!!! I wouldn't call it fear...I'd call it having a healthy respect for the animal and what it could potentially do. And as far as female handlers go.... I'm not stupid and know when I am out muscled and realize the dog is too much dog for me. I have nothing to prove.
You should be very proud of how far you’ve come with this dog.
Amazing, well done Sir.
Love from Scotland 🏴
He's earned your stamp of approval from above? 😂🤣😂
@@yishihara55527 just great to see that with a little knowledge and experience you can accomplish anything.

I've been watching your channel and really enjoying it.
How is "respect" so easily confused with "scared". You better respect a dog like that! If you do not, that dog will teach you.
Indeed!

Super dog.
Geez, monster-sized dog. Love his big beautiful blocky head!!

Yep, only the inexperienced jump right in there and bragg about getting mauled then they'll wonder why their relationship with the dog is fucked.
He's looking so good, can't wait to see him with some obedience
WOW!!! WOW WOW WOW! Unreal transformation in only a few weeks. You are the man Haz. Now I know why I'm an elite member!
Congrats Haz! It's amazing taking the time to build trust first put Mace in a whole new mindset. Love your video updates 🤠
He's SOLID. That's Awesome .Trust & Respect... The Ultimate bond!
Wow I'm really impressed with your training with him he has come a long way he needs a good trainer like you to teach him keep up the good work God bless you
I think your an incredible trainer with an incredible passion!
"Hey guys, Im going to do bitework today with the dutchie, against my better DUTCHMENT, haha judgement" 💀 (seems the breeds growing on him.... .) 💀

Dee 💩 Brother , love the Vid’s and love that Dutch shepherd

I love this series!!! Thank you!!! Let the hater hate! Remember common sense is not so common anymore.
Love this series , very interesting and good learning situations

That's a really gorgeous dog, love his markings and structure
I ❤ Mace ❤
Incredible change in a short amount of time. Such nice body language he's now showing with you. Great work!

I'm enjoying Mace. It's great to watch.
Hey no fair we WANTED to hear what Mace had to say! lol :D Nice job with him!
Mace; i.e., the gangster dog. Hi Haz, not surprised by Mace’s progress. Good job. If Mace was my dog, I’d never live in fear again. He’s a powerhouse!
Best ever series!!!!!!!!
Awesome video. Love these Mace videos. And I love the being careful of cars analogy you use. No trainer worth their salt would push smarts and safety aside just to walk into a cage with a dog that’s showing aggression towards them
He's such a pretty beast 😍
90lb fur missile……3very Dutchie I ever caught was a fricken bone crusher…..
Beautiful dog
You guys did amazing job 👍
I like this dog .. very nice looking
Awesome channel and awesome work. Nice job guys.
This dog is great love this dog.
Wow great transformation
Beautiful boy !! Good job with him! The whining tho… I’m sure you’ll get that under control soon.
The whining is the least of the issues with this dog I doubt that's a priority 😆
He’s a lunatic hahaha! Nice dog
Love the channel....
Mace is awesome. Hope to see good progress on him
Great Job ‼️💯🎯👍🏾💪🏾👏🏾🍻🥃
If he can track and improves his obedience he will make a great police dog. I like him and thee progress you have made with him in such a short time.
Good job Haz.
the shake is awesome, don't change that , hopefully we're talking about human skin.
Gage better watch his six...I think Haz has a new " crush" -haha
Nice Stable Boy!

Schutzhund Tipp:
How... sounds like "Hau", meaning hitting in german
Love you're content im looking for good ductchys and learning to train working dogs
I’ve enjoyed it, I like Mace!!
You know the dog so you took as much time as you needed. I wish you would of posted more videos from kennel and catch pole till this video.
excellent videos! how is he now with the food aggression?

Top job mate, he’s coming on nice. Honestly thought this was going to take you ages to even get near him. 👍👍
WOW
Top Mace!
I didnt understand why have you changed from the metal slip collar to a chain chock?
Whats the main diffrence for you?
What did those critical people want you to do? Mace looked like he would've gone after you for real and a serious dog bite isn't a joke, it's not gonna leave you with just some scratches.
What kind of leather collar is that looks nice
My dog .. the leash lol
Why this particular collar, what are the advantages?
How do you work on quality of grips?
Lol spme dogs are food driven, some dogd ball driven, Mase is Bote driven lol bite bite bite love to bite lol beautiful dog glad he is friendly now enoyed it
When are we going to see MACE Pups?
no fear baby

Good question !!
Because twisting usually signals avoidance and doesn’t look very good. It’s also not acceptable in sport work which this dog is obviously going to be
@@xpudsygaminxdiverse1910 does it have any connection to how a dog shakes to kill its prey ???
Tough dog.
That dog would be great at police work
Love from the UK 🇬🇧
I want him
Watch a load of s*** no control whatsoever you want to be ashamed of yourself
Please make a CZcams short explaining your “ignition” signal, is it just like a rolling “r” but more guttural?
I thought all Dutch Shepherds were brindle. Is there brindle in his coat that just isn't coming through in the video? Just curious
I'm really enjoying this series on Mace btw!
He has brindle in his back end and tail
Look at his legs, chest and tail for most of it.

Mines does not out. Same dog. I swear
Thats typical of the Dutch way of doing things bite first then think about training later.
Gauge is nothing compared to this monster old man 😂😂
Yes, I can see right away his grip isn’t good. He hasn’t completely torn his arm off yet.
there's nothing wrong with sentry dogs, they get to play when there's a riot.
Doesn't head shaking hurt the bad guy in real situation
Triebstärke Hammer 🔨🔨 Griff brutal
would you consider breading him since hes a special dutchie? dutchie mal shepard hybrid
Mooie Hollandse herder I discovered that these dogs are trained in Dutch I think that's funny although your Dutch commands can be a little better
Exactly what I’m working threw with mine know. Once she gets locked in on something she looses all sense
Would you say the fact that you were the decoy when you tested him in Holland made him more suspicious of you in the beginning?
He likes you.
