It was lots of fun. The river is beautiful. Lucy did ok on her first white water trip. She always loves a good pack howl. Thanks for watching Jacqueline!

Lovely. Really enjoyed watching. Thanks for recording and sharing as always. 💜 Amazing you didn't dump with Lucy up on the bags in the rapid!!

Was lucky to finally have the chance to paddle this beautiful river! I was pretty amazed even she didn't end up in the water, a little dicey there for a minute. She's good in the canoe but does not like water very much. Thanks for watching 🙂

Nice little river trip Alec. Going that late in the fall certainly keeps the crowds away! Good on you guys for getting out and getting it done. Keep adventuring!

The Pet was pretty awesome! Surprisingly we leap frogged one other group of rafters. Thanks for watching Ian 🙂

You have to admit that the Schooner and Five Mile Rapids look positively boring without any water. I could take a nap and run those.

Would definitely be better with more water, but we had fun in all the rapids. Schooner was a breeze. Five Mile was exciting when Lucy almost jumped out of the boat. She makes everything a bit more challenging lol. Thanks for watching!

Great vid. What would you say would best time of year or gauge to run Pet for beginners? I have experience but will be bringing my 14 and 11 year olds. We did Spanish this summer

I would avoid early spring when the water's cold and levels are high. June into July might be better and mid water levels. It was pretty low on this trip, 20 something on the gauge I think. That's awesome that you're taking your kids out and giving them a taste of whitewater.
