Hey CZcams, another fix on the ford escape. This time its the wiper motor. Very easy to do wrenching if the wiper motor fails or the arm strips out of the motor splines.
For these model escapes there is one motor for each wiper. So if both wipers are not working I would check wiring to make sure power is going to each unless you can see they are stripped. If you see them spin in the wiper arm then they need to be replaced.
I am not familiar with what your asking about. I am sure a mechanic more familiar with the wiring diagram would be able to answer that for you. best of luck finding what your looking for.
I was able to find a ford replacement motor right at my local parts store. I am sure they can be found at all the major outlets as well as the internet. Something like this I would recommend ford OEM products just so you know the electronic from the variable speed will all work together with no issue and not a knock off part, just my thoughts. Thanks for watching. Let me know if there are any other videos you would like to see.
No not unless something happened to the switch or wiring. They are independent motors and if one is stripped or not working the other should still work.
Excellent video. Especially for the novice "mechanic". Thanks!
Appreciate the Comment Doug. Hope it worked out well for you.
Great video same as the 2017 ford edge
Thank you for the comment, and it's good to know. I'm sorry the issue is so prevalent.
Putting Anti-Seize is a great tip!
Absolutely right TechnoGeek! Thanks for the view.
Both sides on mine not working how much are the motors
$50-$75 each motor depending on where your buying and add in shipping if your ordering online. Good luck, is a simple swap with basic hand tools!
Both sides of my shit not working, I’m about to replace them asap. Thanks bro
Best of luck to you, they are easy to swap out with some simple hand tools. thanks for watching.

What do the black and red wires under windshield do?
