A have a tip for you: When you are fighting Mantises, Ladybugs, Rhino Beetles, etc (It doesn't work on King Beetle, Ants from ant challenge, Tunnel Bear, Commando Chick, Mondo Chick, I don't know for Coconut Crab, etc) spam jump, and they will stop walking/attacking you. They will think that you are outside of the field they are in.

Keep gifted basic bee because it is one of the best bees in the entire game because it gives a gifted hive bonus that gives your entire hive x1.2 pollen which helps so much. It also took me so long to get and you are insanely lucky you got it from an average basic egg. KEEP IT

Btw when getting event bees with tickets, I recommend buying tabby first, photon second, crimson/cobalt third, and festive last (don’t buy puppy until later in the game, you really don’t need it other than for leveling up your bees, but it has to be gifted)

No, he should only be a mixed hive since in early game he will mostly be doing quests, if he is a red hive quests with blue and white polllen will be more difficult
