6:55 - some guy in the background does a canon ball into the freaking water after Phil makes his shot! LOL!!
lmaoooooo
Lol 😂😂
Saw that. Watched it 4 times
I think if you watch a Tiger woods video of the same hole, the same guy jumps
Timing was a little off but...
Phil Mickelson is my favorite golfer. He was my inspiration to get into golfing. I shot a 68 on my very first outing. Oh, by the way, that was on the first hole.
You are hilarious!
Lmao
Lmao
Phil is great. Definitely in my personal top 3 fav of all time
😁
"The worse it is the better he gets" that sums Phil up perfectly
No doubt
not during a major
I live for Gary McCord's laugh
Trevor Staub please revisit today after shinecock
Not at the US open for sure, the damned cheater.
I think he hits bad shots just so he can pull off this wonder shots.
Jan Keerer Sarcasm escapes you.
Jon Lanier ,lindo
Jon Lanier t
Jon Lanier yes!
Jon Lanier true
I love at the end of the #1 after Phil holes his put there is this guy in the audience who jumped into the water with joy, this is epic !
+Julien Reydel I hope he's still alive.
He's still there!
He thought he could get his 1 sec of fame via Mickie, but got the rug pulled out from under him when they cut to a different camera at the last second. LOL
well atleast they got him in the water at 7:02 lol
Julien Reydel I
I love the one announcer, hysterically laughing: “ha haaaa its going in haaaa”
And the other player giving him a elbow bump for a good shot
yesssssss
Phil's an amazing player but what really is making me a fan is his instructional videos. By far the best, easiest to understand videos I have seen, and I've seen just about everyone on CZcams. A natural born teacher.
Commentator's laugh at 4:17 killed me 👌🏾👌🏾😂
4:19, I love the commentators laugh😂😭
Phil is EVERYONES favourite. Imperfect, but incredible at the same time. A true golfing legend
This man is an absolute treasure. Very few players nowadays have the flair players like he and Seve have/had. Great stuff.
That half plugged sand shot that goes in @ the 06 Memorial ..... WOW!
That is one of my favorite shots as well. That and the fairway-bunker-shot on the 10th hole at Sawgrass! WOW! 😉
The top professionals, especially multi major championship PGA members, make the game look so easy.
Just imagine the hours of practice, to be able to have such incredible ball control, in situations such as these, especially in highly lucrative tournaments, where maintaining par, or making a birdie or two, can mean winning or losing the tournament.
Is it any wonder that Phil has been near the top of the leader board on so many of the major tournaments.
The Houdini of golf, Phil the thrill:).
I love watching that guy from the crowd jumping in the water at the end.
That plugged hole out was number 1 in my book.
Yeah but that wasnt for the win.. #1 was a winning shot
I've never wanted to see anyone become Victorious more than Phil Mickelson
I love when the guy at the end cannonballs in the water!
I remember when I was a kid...I hated when golf was on eurosport. Now I'm sitting here cheering and clapping 😂
Its been an absolute joy to watch this genius, not only an artist, but a multiple major champion, to you Mr Mickelson thank you
just gotta love phil!
Mate Mickelson is an absolute legend at this game mate.
Love watching him
Genius, it's inexplicable! these guys MUST be born with a golf club in their hands, it's TRIPPY
#9 is #1 - That shot is the best short game shot ever- spinning a ball from that lie backwards up a downslope is just unbelievable. the sound his club makes from such a short distance, THAT is belief /control/ skill all wrapped into one awesome shot !
#4 is one of the best shots I’ve ever seen. And McCord’s reaction makes it even better
Phil is a FREAK!!! A complete witch on the golf course. He does things that are just mind boggling. So wish he could have won a couple of more majors during his hay day. And he's a SUN DEVIL, so he will always be my favorite player.
Our family was at the 2019 Masters where Tiger was amazing; it was my first opportunity to be at a major golf event (thanks to my brother Greg)... It was great, and I loved seeing Tiger Woods win, but I have to admit I was as much star-struck seeing Phil M who is my all-time favorite golf idol!
Watching Phil doing Phil things is always awesome
Always gives the fans a show
It's kind of magic :-). Phils escapes are the best, what we can see on temporary golf. It's not about stright shots, it's about this magic shots.
Phil Mickelson the Master at problem shots!! Love this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phil Michelangelo.
The pure joy of the announcers at 4:17
☺️Phil is so amazing..😄
He knows what hes doing..🤷🏽♀️..
Probably the best at chipping of all time. Dude is god-tier at it😎
I thought I had seen the greatest scrambler in Lee Trevino growing up in the 60's and early 70's but Phil takes the cake!
Some great recoveries.. Always have to watch Lefty
Here after Phil won the PGA at Fiddy. Wished he had started this new regiment 10-15 years ago.
I love watching lefty hit flop shots! Best in the biz!!
Golfholics love your videos man
I love Phil too he plays real well!
The guy gets energized by trying absurd shots. That’s what I love about him.
Metoo
Martial art
"Phil the Thrill." That about sums it up. It seems sacrilegious to compare the average golfer to Mickelson but when he's out there grinding it out following a bad lie...well, that's something most of us can relate to, which probably goes a long ways in explaining why he's so loved on the tour. He's a Hall of Famer no doubt but there is a part of him that is a part of us.
My favorite golf quote: "That was awesome even by Phil's standards. Surely."
No. 4 is def my favorite!
No one has or will play golf like Phil Mickelson
Gotta love Phil what fun golfer to watch
There are two types of golfers; those who play off of concrete cart paths and those who buy their own clubs.
Not to detract from the genius of the man, mind you.
It's the same kind of marks you get when you hit out of a bunker. You'll notice he's more or less "sweeping" the ball off the path.
@@almostfm Yes he is. But he is Phil Mickelson, not a weekend warrior like the rest of us.
Why didn't he take relief on that shot? Would that have made the shot more difficult?
@@TheMasterMief I _think_ that, because he's left-handed, his "nearest point of relief" from the path would have also have had his swing obstructed by whatever that structure is on the right of the camera shot. It's probably easier to take an unrestricted swing and play the ball off the path.
Had he been right handed, that structure wouldn't interfere with his swing, so taking relief would be the smart play.
Paul Leonard I think he can generate a lot of spin off a cart path due to how clean the lie is and how clean he has to hit it
No grass between the ball and the club
He is the absolute goat with his short game. He is really a magician.
Greatest golfer of all time!
Yeah
Guy @ 6:58 hops in the lake to celebrate!
Red striped shirt guy! Great call I missed that, first go round. How ever did you catch that?
I thought I was the only one😂
He has amazing shot making skills!
Phil Mickelson typical Par 3:
1/ Wild tee shot to an impossible place
2/ Miraculous save only he can do
3/ Put to save par
This guy makes golf fun to watch.
Phil is a true magician with a wedge as his magic wand.
That maniacal laugh on #4 lol too perfect
they'll never be another Phil Mickelson.
4:19 that laugh, that damned laugh!!!!
Love the full swing sky lob
On the down slope. He's more boss than Springsteen
Dude is a wizard with a wedge! An absolute wizard!!!
My absolute favorite was the shot out of the pine needles onto the green at Agusta national.
My favorite golfer ever. He was no tiger, then again, no one was. But he’s been awesome over his whole career and has stayed with it in his later years
Number 4 was incredible! Downhill lie in the rough and he hits a verticals flop shot, superb.
2:11 The reflection off the club makes it look like a video game and he's charging up his shot lol.
At 7:02, I love how pumped Bones was when he drained that putt for the win. Gosh those two were a great team.
That bunker shot is STILL insane.
Phils total quality.
Shot ranked 7 is going to be that tune I can't get out of my head. Amazing shot 😳
I'm surprised the shot at The Masters he hit from behind the trees not sure which hole it was but it was crazy. if they make a new one of his amazing shots his shot in 3rd round of the 2016 Open Championship when he was right up against the thick bushes and they were saying he had no chance of advancing the ball and his best bet was to try to hit it right handed and hit it sideways back on to the fairway & he took an iron and was making some wierd swings and different stances to try to figure out how to make contact and he had 1 little slot his club could go through but they said it couldn't be done and then he went full swing and advanced the ball well over 100+yards down the fairway. I have to say that was the best shot I have ever saw. he didn't make the green but he has spectacular eye and hand cordination to be able to take a full swing and take full shot. The announcers were amazed that he was able to pull it off.
I think it was Bubba who was behind the trees in the masters. It was 2012 on the 2nd playoff hole
No. I don't think Phil was better than Bubba either I don't know how he was able to draw a lofted I'm pretty serum wedge that much. The Michelson Shor I'm talking about was on the Par.5 13th hole in 2010 I think FL. Round but not sure he was ery close to 1 tree in front of him on the Pinestraw & There was another tree it looked about 10 feet in front little to left I assume he went right between the 2 trees it was his 2nd shot sl he could have laid up instead he went for it and landed it just over the water on the green probably inside 10 feet probably 5 ft very close it's always hard to tell distance on TV. Sir Nick Faldo and the announcers were shocked. in my personal opinion if was top 3 shots I saw at the Masters ever 3. would be Phil shot it's hard to pick between others so I will give tie Bubba's banana hook on the. 2nd playoff hole. with wedge & Tigers chip on 16 the last par 3 that Nike used forever in Commercials because of it pausing with the NIKE Swoosh for sec. before it fell in.
Yeah, it was definitely 11th or 13th at the Masters. But you're not going to see any shots from that tournament in any of these videos from the PGA Tour channel since they don't own the rights (i think CBS owns them i don't know, im not from the USA). Same as you're not going to see any of those other shots you mention from Tiger and Bubba on this channel either.
It was 13 at Augusta in 2010, from the pinestraw. Just an unbelievable shot (shame he missed the eagle putt). The gap he had to hit through was minuscule. Those never show up on these lists, though, because they always exclude the majors. Something about who paid for the rights to the footage, I'm sure.
The clips don't include major titles that's why most of those aren't there, shot at the 13th from the pine straw at Augusta was definitely up there
4:13 has to be the best commentator reaction
woooah, I love that guy!
Phil was my inspiration to start the most frustrating game ever invented.
Phil always been in my top 5
The masters of the short game always wins the game.
LOL could you see the guy in the end jumping in the water
I'm 55. Been playing and watching golf my entire life. Phil is my favorite! I am a big fan of Arnie, Jack, Lee, Chi Chi, and a few others but Phil Mickelson is a hoot to watch. Also seems like a damn nice guy. His prowess around the green and his ability to get out of trouble is amazing. I love the way he plays. He is always cordial with the fans and media. His family must be quite proud. Phil Mickelson is a class act.
The greatness of golf is that the fans play too. When Phil makes a genius shot, and you see people shaking their heads, it's because they KNOW how hard it is.
Stop at 6:58 that guy is crazy
Phil Mickelson is quite possibly the greatest golfer of all time
Phil is so AMAZING..🔥🤤
Phil the magician!
Amazing
mark r penn usa as a lefty helped me just watching him. masters off the pine needles nuff said. love the game and at times hate my swing. u all know
Dude jumping in the water at that the end was great.
These are all from the PGA Tour, but there was a greenside pitch he played during the 2013 Scottish Open that was unbelievable.
He hit a flop shot off the barest lie imaginable, with water on the other side of the green - it landed & stopped three feet from the hole.
Think it's on You Tube somewhere.
Anyone can make mistakes in life. The problem is how you make up for them .
One of greatest golfers at all time.
Most evil laugh ever 4:19
Phil the Thrill!
ive watched this video sooooo many times
Phil Mickelson is magical par - saver.
Leftie, genious short game!
Phil looks like the kind of guy who would watch this video on repeat
freaking amazing......
Nice!
I’m sorry, I forgot the #6 video. Did the ball hit off the cup? I’m surprised the shot at Augusta par5 would have made it, but I guess that is the most played one. These never get old. Specially right now!! Thanks for your list 👍👍
Phil the Thrill! He'd probably be worse if he hit fairways lol
Great player. best lob wedge player ever
6.57 the guy in the red and white left of your screen jumps into the river haha Phil on his day is the best.
6:57 lol look at that fan who is jumping :D
The Phil algorithm is real boys
Magical
He is the best at recovery shots.
People who don’t watch golf don’t understand the true talent it takes for people like Phil to pull off these shots
