So we have been to a lot of the cemeteries in the smokies. They are all full of children's graves. We talked to someone, I believe it was a ranger, but not 100% positive. They said it's due to the lack of healthcare in the area during that time. Any little thing would kill the kids. Their chances of survival was not good. Good video. Lynn and Danny
Most of the dates in this particular cemetery date back to influenza outbreaks, mixed with their isolated location and lack of health care it had to be difficult times. Thanks so much for watching!
