think melamine board is slippery enough to make a slide out of , do need to put some ribs under it to strengthen it a little and make sides for it
might allso help to put a small platform in front of the plaything and have them slide of toward the ladder instead of intoo the room , saves some space and prolly some damage to the wall across

They play on it a fair amount, yeah. Mostly my 6 year old throws blankets up there and sits there playing minecraft 🤣
