    I appreciate your concise workflow. I'm such a slob when it comes to that. Great tips and even better shot!

    I stopped backpacking about 5 years ago when my old tent leaked during a thunderstorm but looking at your video makes me want to get back into it again. I was using hyperfocal distance to focus with my Nikon D800 but ever since I got the Nikon Z5, I find it easier to manual focus using focus peaking function.

    I'm amazed by the lengths you go to in getting the image and then in processing. Great video.

    great tutorial Dave and to witness moments in the wilderness like that when few humans have been before or if at all must be exhilarating.

      Thank! I use make a selection of the top 3rd of the image then use free transform. After that use warp to clean it up. Just make sure when you do it not to go overboard. I try to make it look like I saw when out there.

    Another great video, Dave! I've never used the sponge tool, so I'll have to give that a try. Quick question: what video screen capture program do you use for for Photoshop tutorials?

    • @DaveMorrow
      @DaveMorrow  Před rokem

      Thanks! I use OBS. Nice because it processes the video as you record, so no editing required after screencast, so long as you don't make mistakes while recording.

      @@DaveMorrow Thanks, Dave! Using Windows 10 "Game-recording" function just doesn't work!

    how fast do you have to go to get the water sharp when it flows by like that?

    • @DaveMorrow
      @DaveMorrow  Před rokem +1

      depends how fast the water is moving... 1/20th to 1/2 second usually works well, just experiment: www.davemorrowphotography.com/aperture-priority-mode
