I know they from different universes or timelines, but Franklin's description as to what happened to Grove made a lot of sense. Eventually, everything fell apart when money got involved and gangbanging led to people backstabbing each other and selling drugs. The idea of honor, family, and the grove meant nothing and the real OGs were just names at the end of the day. Now new Grove members are the same as Ballas, they don't care about anything that Sweet, Carl, and most of the good Greens did.

I think the reason why grove is gone is that they already moved on living a great life because of CJ he earns alot of opportunities like millions of money and owns alot of properties and not to mention that he is always earning alot by his bussiness so he maybe not mentioned in the game it's because he was living with a low profile peacefully
And i think the new Grove street is called the "families" now which i think it's still in the game was to welcome back the players
