It's great to see the interaction with the crew who remembers you from a previous flight!
I was very confused when he said so 🤣 But yes loved it, shame I wasn't sitting at 3A again haha
I AM A HUGE FAN OF YOUR VIDEOS YOU NEVER LET ME DOWN!
The Perth QF international lounge looks so modern!! ✨
Very nice to get a second economy class meal. Qantas takes care of their premium members.
they were super nice on qf71👍🏼👍🏼
Great presentation and video, very good to watch, thanks Jayden.
thank you!! :)
Great video Jayden ❤
Thank you!! :)
Thanks for your report!! Hope you're doing well and safe travels :)
Thanks Kevin! NZ next🥰🥰
Another great video Jayden. Was a good time while you were in Singapore too! 🙂
Awesome review! :D hope I can find some time to fly again soon
2:50 I'm glad you don't mind seat on row 4.
love row 4!
Love that you also include vlogs about the countries you're in!
i’m glad! thanks for watching!!
i enjoyed the flight again greetings from the netherlands
thank you Brigitte!!
Nice trip report Jayden. Appreciate the vegan option reviews.
Al your blogs are great
thank you William!
Great video, Jayden! The international lounge in Perth looks great! It is interesting to think about the trade offs of going to SIN via East or West Australia. Longer domestic or longer international flight. I"m surprised they cost about the same. I agree about the efficiency of using both front and back to board. I loved that when I visited Australia. Wish more places did that. The food looked good on the flight. I'm surprised that there are no screens on the international plane. It seems alike more hassle to deal with the iPads than to have built in screens. Your hotel in Singapore looked very nice and had a great view!
Hi Mike! For overnight I think I prefer flying via east- longer sleep :)
I think this is an ex-Jetstar plane. So it never came with TV/entertainment box. When Qantas refurbish their planes, especially economy class, really it’s just the seat covers and headrests that they change. They did that for 737s and 380s. New fabric but same old TV and actual seats😮💨😮💨
Hi Jayden thank you for the video seems like you had a good flight plenty of leg room which always is a bonus. The hotel looks nice hope you enjoy the trip.
Thanks Maureen! Indeed very lucky to get row 4 for the relatively long domestic flight
It's such a small world 🌎
Glad people remember you from previous trips. You are lucky to get out of cold 🥶 Adelaide hehehe 😜
haha ikr!! I usually am the one who remember the crew so I got caught out haha. I’m currently back in Adelaide. Ngl, haven’t gone out for 3 days! It’s just too cold- my body got adjusted for Vietnam and HK lol
When Flying QANTAS I Love To Have A Barramundi Fillet.Great Trip Report
Good Aussie dish! Why not!
@@JaydenWong I Love It
QF looked very comfortable, must be a relatively short flight from PER. The INTL Lounge is an impressive setup, will hopefully try it one day as still not tried the London to Perth flight to date. Crew seemed really on the ball and looked after you. Thanks for sharing once again, keep these reports coming! 👍
"Found it do boring in Canberra" haha I live here and I agree 🤣😭 there's nothing to do and flights are expensive
Good to see them using bickfords cordial.
Fantastic review Jayden also took this flight about a month back. I scored a really good deal $600 return was pretty happy with the service overall sure it doesn't quite have every bell and whistle but I was pretty happy overall especially for the bargain I got!
wow $600 not bad! cheaper than just going Perth to Adelaide LOL!
I think the iPad is a unique idea
Another ripper review Mr. Wong. As now a resident of Perth many trips out of PER to Sing My favourite transit port The A/c you flew on in this review I think is earmarked to retire soon to become a QF freighter Noted that landing was a greaser (might have been the F.O. (grin) as it took a while to bring the spoilers down Sing has a great ROTI kiosk in T 2 Happily QF have ditched the 737 8 on that route some time ago it was a horror. Might catch up with you when next in Perth and tip SQ out of Perth on either their 787 10 or My Favourite the A350 900 ( in regional config) I must say I prefer these days. OH, and the cabin crew looked very well fed :) Thanks for another ripper report
Impressive service from Qantas, Jayden. I expect that, in due course, Qantas will roster those A321XLRs (on order from Airbus) for non-stop service ADE-SIN.
That would be great!😍😍 Maybe ADL or PER to HKG too. Thanks Alex!
Boarding aeroplanes has become a shambles ever since airlines allowed passengers to clog up aisles while they try and cram grand pianos, doubles basses and kitchen sinks into the overhead roof lockers. Once, all you could bring on board was a small bag which would fit under the seat in front. It would help immensely if we went back to this!
Plus, why not board all domestic passengers on domestic flights through the front plane door starting with the very back rows, then front of plane passengers disembark first …….it just seems to make more sense to do that, as sometimes if a passenger gets on the plane from the rear stair door but has a mid row seat, they are causing chaos! 😳🙄
Re Lucy: Fundamentally those boarding ideas are great and the US seem to love doing them with up to 9 boarding groups + pre boarding per flight. But I notice those supposedly boarding methods take much longer time than Qantas’ or Virgin’s priority>all remaining pax.
Not all passengers are at the gate when their row is called. And then when they get to the gate after they rows have been called they just board randomly.
Plus this methods make more people to congregate around the gate to listen out for the time to board.
I wonder how the new Qantas boarding procedures will work out.
@@JaydenWong I have long been of the opinion, that on long distance aeroplane journeys, all passengers should be anesthetised and stacked on board on stretchers. Then woken up when they reach their destination. That way the airlines could cram more on board and not have to worry about serving meals etc., Win. Win. 🤩😁😛
In 1976 returning to Australia after 3 years studying in Indonesia I struggled on board trying to look as if the huge bag of books I was carrying was light. It was not light but they let me through!
I did that same flight same airline same plane same everything and even same time but in 2022
Hi,Jayden! As always a smooth and nice vlog from you. Hey,why not a Qantas flight to Buenos Aires and then my Brazil?😊
Hopefully they will get more planes to go to these places!!
QF international service is really very dire. I'm presently so pissed off with QF I'm on a mission to zero out my account with them, redeeming flights as much as I can zig zagging around Australia in JCL. I've had about enough of them... For now. Very bad post flight customer service and made my blood pressure rise just thinking about it.
Cabin service is always good, and you're right... I love the A330-200 seats.
mission to zero out😂😂 Inflation applies to Qantas pts too :/
Recently flew economy from Sydney to Singapore on A330-200. There was little left room. Barely enough to lean over the food tray. One of the toilets wasn't working. The crew was great. However due to the leg room, their woke welcome to country bs, and painting the planes with the Yes logo, I'll be flying another carrier next time.
Great video today Mate :). and What's your favourite city in the world?
when i flew with Virgin Australia from MEL to SIN VIA PER and where I codeshare with Singapore Airlines from PER to SIN, I had to transit between terminals and was told to recheckin my bags at PER intL terminal for Singapore Airlines. didn't understand why we had to do this as it was a codeshare and even the Singapore airlines check-in staff in PER were surprised my bags were not checked in all the way in MEL.
I think Qantas is the only airline that provides an iPad style tv screen in economy class
Ah interesting. Very weird indeed. I did ADL MEL SIN before with VA and SQ and they checked it all the way for me.
for tablets, Virgin used to provide Samsung in business but they ditched it haha
Maybe it's just me, but I don't quite fancy that Qantas prefers distributing their inflight meal service in plastic bags. Kind of makes the service cheap and is especially environmentally unfriendly if it's not fully recyclable or disposed of correctly by passengers. Also kind of weird that a long-haul A332/3 AC has no IFE and serves hundreds of Ipads to passengers. That must be so much extra weight. Nice Report though!
They only do plastic bags for special meals. I guess it’s so they don’t confuse the smaller sides with regular meals since they don’t use trays
iPads actually are a lot lighter than TV. It it thicker and comes with the IFE boxes sometimes. And it is why many airlines (especially short haul) ditched them (in favour for personal device or iPads) or never introduced them in the first place.
Thanks for watching!!
@@JaydenWong Hopefully Joyce will rethink presentation of catering for Qantas in general. Qantas has potential to be better and its's sad to see them not taking the opportunity to improve on their soft product.
Hustling and bustling. Coat hooks......right here right now....😂😂❤
Hi there. What was the restaurant your were dining at with the food tower? Was that a twist on High Tea? Fantastic video as always! 😊
Atlas Bar in Singapore :) Thanks for watching!!
I thought the virgin a330 retired a few years ago
Hey Jayden I overpowered 14.5-16 hours flight from Toronto my home to Seoul-incheon and uh I very good flight except last 2-3 hours!.
I feel sorry for you have a weak back!.
haha at least you could say you’ve done the long flight now😂😂
Good to see Qantas living up to its old premium reputation after slipping badly recently. I probably won't have a chance to enjoy their service though, if i fly to Singapore or Malaysia it will probably be with Jetstar, Air Asia or Scoot. Its only a few hours and on a limited budget I couldn't justify the extra expense. Besides, a prepaid meal on Air Asia is very tasty.
Sad you found my home town of Canberra boring. There is some really cool bars and restaurant's within my home town, pity.
Sorry for the statement Steve. I swear I’ll return soon and make a vlog of it. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
damn he didnt even use reverse thrust on landing immediately
Very nice fly with Qantas. I didn't notice if Qantas Inflight Entertainment by using Ipad in A330. Usually it's already in the seat. With Qantas domestic flight, I have already book ticket so early between 3 to 4 Months before departure and when go to choose seat I want front seat between 4 and 11 and it is all unavailable. Why is it?
Row 4-11 is only available to oneworld/qantas frequent flyers for selection. Like preferred seats on other airlines :) They do open up closer to departure
Hey Jayden! Thanks for the review today. I haven’t been on Qantas since the last 6 years (even though I live in Australia) so I’m glad you reviewed it. Just a question: is Qantas still the safest airline in the world?
Thanks bud.
Cheers :)
The most recent, whatever you call them, 'results' that came out placed Qantas back on top. Even if they were 20th, they are perfectly fine to fly on
Cheers bro
No need for the disservice you did Canberra! It has heaps to do if you know where to go
All I got to see of me was my wrist! hahaha LOL How about 2 Chefs? 🙂

Hong Kong next week!!
I guess if you are on a qantas domestic flight and you are transferring to qantas international fight, the bags are checked right through?
indeed ;)
I would have sat in business class for the long flight
How do you the seat spacing in inches?
The information is available online :)
Hey Jayden, I need your expertise, have you ever flown AirAsia internationally? I'm thinking of flying with them from Sydney to Bangkok later in the year and wanted to know what you thought 😀
No I haven’t sorry Marc :/
@Jayden Wong ah, all good Mr Wong✌️
I've flown with Air Asia from Perth to KL Marc. I suggest you prepay your meal and luggage when booking. The seats are a bit tight but service is friendly and the meals are very tasty. If your budget isn't too tight you could check whether the Premium Lay Flat seat option is available on your flight. For about the cost of premium economy you get almost Business Class.
@Rais thanks for the tips, much appreciated and will follow your advice👍
Nice review of Qantas Airlines. I noticed you always stop over or visit Singapore. Do you really like Singapore? If yes, why do you like Singapore?
Singapore is a good location for stopover and I do have a lot friends there :)
This time I went to Singapore mainly because I booked Singapore-Canada (my ultimate holiday destination this time round). Booking Australia-SG, and SG-Canada cheaper than Australia-Canada
Was the Perth Qantas Club not open, or did they just let you in because you're travelling on International
He’s got the frequent flyer status
@@shin267 The Domestic Business Lounge is normally for Platinum / oneworld Emerald customers only, and he is Gold
Very curious about this
Because I was entitled to the better Qantas International Lounge (even though Domestic Business is an emerald lounge) they let me in for the time-being :)
Club was open. But I thought there’s no way they are gonna put me in there when I am entitled to the International one😂 Turned out the agent did let me in!
Jayden whats you're favorite middle eastern airline?
emirates :)
same have you every been on etihahd?
Hello Jayden,
always love your vlogs and its super informative.
Please hit me up when u r coming to Singapore again so that I can have a meal with you (Treat is on me!).
Cheers
Thanks Jerry! Do follow my insta and when you see that I’m in Singapore hit me up haha @jaydenwong.fly
Actually... my name is Jeffrey. Lol
You better go to Indonesia The stuff is really cheap like for one ice cream only 20 cents
Flying there is very expensive though :/
Ahhh
The life of a jetsetting vlogger !😅
You even get twin toilet roll holders in your hotel loo !😂
Qantas food looks good for both flights...but iPads for entertainment on the overseas leg ?
They must be one of the last airlines to do that ( that I know of 😅)
haha was in Pullman Sydney Hyde Park for the past few nights. Got double roll holders too😍😍😍
I don’t know any other airline that ever did iPads TBH😂😂😂
Old planes. It's cheaper to provide iPads than to rewire the plane. Nobody ever accused Joyce of spending a dollar he didn't have to.
Where was your vegemite Jayden ? Lol 😂
Qantas stopped flying direct Adelaide-Singapore in 2013. So why fly Qantas when so many other international airlines fly from Adelaide? With Singapore Air you can do it direct in a little more than six hours. For Adelaide not to be serviced by Qantas internationally is a disgrace.
Still using mask in Australia 😮?
nah ditched last year. Some people still wear it :)
When you say "it was during Covid", are you aware that Covid is still raging, Australian ICUs are filled to the breaking point.
So true 😢
Covid is obviously here to stay, but no longer controlling people's lives to the extent it was before. People are meeting in large numbers, traveling all over the world and mask wearing is not longer prevalent.
