    I like mine. It definitely lifts the weight. I have noticed brush hogging on a hot day it seems to struggle up hills. Not sure why that is, but I’ve only brush hogged my property around six times. Great video.

    Great video...oil filter on Amazon is $23.68.

    Nice video, I have been very impressed with the bad boy attachments. I have their 6 ft brush hog, and have used it very hard, and it has held up very well. When you pick up the hay bale, it looks like it is riding on the front axle very heavily. Looks like a convenient tractor thought for most jobs.

      I do think it could use more rear weight when lifting those large heavy bales. My only disappointment is that the loader bent as easily as it did. I'm still hopeful I can straighten it possibly with heat and chain come along. Thanks for commenting!

    I'll be retiring to my farm in mt.pleasant Texas this year . I'm looking at the Branson/ tym 3620. It lifts 2700 lbs and it weighs over 5400 lbs. Tym bought kukje/ Branson. Your tractor is basically a tym 2515. I do like the heavy durable bad boy attachments. I'm only 40 miles from the bad boy dealer in Paris.

      We're just an hour west of Paris. Everyone told me buy as big as you can and I think that's good advice! I have friends with bransons and they're really happy with them. Thanks for commenting!

      Thank you for considering us :). We have our 45 and 55hp tractors coming next month. You get a free 5ft cutter with our tractor, $300 off all the big implements, and $100 off the small ones with a tractor right now :).

    I’ve got the Branson 2515h, same tractor, and love it. I’ve noticed you definitely need ballast on the back when lifting heavy stuff.
    I’ve got some pallet forks that also have the hay spikes for when I’m gonna need to get some hay.

      I definitely do need ballast on the back. It will increase the capability by a lot for sure. Thanks for commenting.

      How do you like the grappler? I think that thing would be incredibly handy.

      Its pretty good but i do have update. I snapped a tooth on the bottom. The entire bottom jaw needs replaced and they are going to warranty free of cost. I will be honest a pushed it past its limit. I lifted a entire tree i fell it was almost lifting back end of tractor so it was dand heavy when i droped the tree bottom tooth was wedged in tree snapped and stuck in tree 😂
      I do have a question. Do you use bad boy filters on ur oil or other brand? And if u do what ur part number? Dealer did not order my filters in time and i already drained oil and im dead in the water. Iv also bought the wrong filter twice from napa and car quest nobody seems to have what i need.

    • @Pecanhill
      @Pecanhill  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@fredfernandez9472 that's great they're replacing it under warranty. The filter is a wix one. I can't remember the number off the top of my head but it's at the end of my video if you wanna go back and watch the end.

    Well this answered some questions I had! My local bad boy dealer is the 4025 with the brush hog for 24k seems like a pretty good deal.
    Do you think it would be capable of unloading 2000lbs of feed off a trailer? I’ve been buying our feed in 50lb bags, but I’d like to switch to 2000lb bulk sacks. Having a tractor capable of that is a must. I’m wondering if the 4035 would be slightly more capable.

    • @Pecanhill
      @Pecanhill  Před 5 měsíci

      With the proper counterweight, yeah I think it would lift it. I have tried unloading 2,000 lb pallets out of my truck bed and the lift capacity is there, but the brush hog doesn't provide enough counterweight. I bought this about 18 months ago with the pallet forks, hay spear for the loader and three point and brush hog for about that price. I'm sure things are more expensive now just like everything else in this economy...

    • @RelentlesslyRelearning
      @RelentlesslyRelearning Před 5 měsíci

      I have the 4035 and it will for sure lift the 2k but counter weight is an issue, you will need to have something heavier than the bush hog I use a 55 gallon drum full of concrete and it does pretty good

    • @nickschaps4022
      @nickschaps4022 Před 5 měsíci

      @@RelentlesslyRelearning good to hear! I actually have an extra 3pt ballast box out in the grove that I could load up with counter weight that should do the trick.

    Did you bend the loader arm, or the hudraulic cylinder? The hydraulic cylinder should bend before the loader arm does. If it's the hydraulic cylinder, you can take it off the tractor and bring it to a hydraulic repair shop. They can measure it up and get you two better replacements for less than one dealer replacement, most likely. Just a thought.
    I appreciate the video, too. I've been to multiple Kubota and Bad Boy dealers in the last year, trying to make a decision. If I go with Bad Boy, im definitely getting the 4035. The prices are sooo much more attravtive than Kubota's!
    Oh I noticed you got under that lifted round bale for just a moment. I'm not trying to be a nag or know it all... Please be careful about that. If the loader failed while you were under there, it could easily kill you. When I'm working around equipment, I try to stay to the side or behind the business end of any implement, front or back. Having investigated a few deaths from farm accidents, I can say it only takes a split second to end a life. Thanks again for the video, and good luck with your Bad Boy! 😎👍

    • @Pecanhill
      @Pecanhill  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The arm itself looks bent to me out towards the end. I'll look closer at the cylinder though - that would be easier to fix for sure.
      I think the 4035 is a good choice...
      You're right about going under too! 👍

    • @gadsdenconsulting7126
      @gadsdenconsulting7126 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@Pecanhill Maybe check the loader arm with a straight edge to see if it's boogers up? It might be possible to straighten it with a come-along and a fixed object. Hope it's just the cylinder tho!
