As a Canadian I would be just as upset. The stuff tastes like plastic. One time I was in America and we bought some and me and my dad both threw up. It was blueberry flavored tho so that might have made it worse.
@@JammakesjunkYeah, the flavored ones are really bad. The annoying thing is how expensive good maple syrup is in comparison to everything else here, practically all most people can get is the gross "syrup."
@amyleah08 sort of off topic, but I know someone who is from El Salvador, their food is good but the problem is that they can't bring it to America because it'll go bad.
Hence one of the many reasons why we can't have good things.

Im of the opinion that Cain isn't so much a roge AI but an AI forced to function outside his normal parameters. He's ment to keep people entertained during their stay but doesn’t know how humans function and survive long-term. He's trying to keep them happy, perform his prime function, but he doesnt know how to do anything besides entertain.

I agree with this analysis. It sort of strikes me as a similar situation to the AI head computer from Red Dwarf, trying it's best to keep the remaining crew alive and sane despite everything working against that. Cain has a number of constraints regarding certain things so odds are that, just like a program, he's simply carrying the functions that were prescribed to him when he was created. He is sentient and can go about interpreting how to proceed, especially when interactions lie outside what he was prepared for, but has little to no frame of reference as to the outside world or what "real" even is in his own context.
Everybody in this damn circus needs to sit down together and have a nice long therapy session. ESPECIALLY CAINE!
My partner thinks this is a wizard of Oz situation and he's actually a human who has admin access but also can't get out
tbh i love how jax acts this episode. like, he's objectively an asshole, but i love that for him. of course he wants chaos and carnage; its the only interesting thing left for him while trapped in the circus

I really liked him in this episode too! he's a really good opposite to ragatha with him wanting absolute chaos and her wanting to actually do the quest and cheer up pomni

For a second there when they’re talking about the funeral Jax looks sad but then covers it up

I also noticed how he didn't show to the funeral. Maybe it was too much for him?
I feel like he has trauma he pushes down and covers up with his narcissistic (and frankly, psychopathic) personality.
54:45 I also DO NOT think its Jax , because you see when they mention Kaufmo's "funeral" he is actually upset, but I think his personality is him trying not to get attached to the others, because if he CARES about them, then if/when they abstract its gonna cause HIM grief, possibly leading to his own abstraction. He's trying to keep himself entertained whilst not getting attached.
Yeah I thinks that’s right. Also how he kinda tries to maybe cover up the sadness in his face straight away. Like you can sometimes see emotion on his face but he covers it up a lot.
Interesting Ragatha theory, but Kinger explicitly says that he remembers how long it took for her to adjust when she arrived, implying that not only did she arrive the way everyone else did, but she also took a while to adjust, which isnt the behaviour of somebody who is in control and knows what's going on. She is just coping and trying to help others cope.
Or it could be fake? If it is ragatha remember that there’s the memory loss problem when they switch worlds. If it is her could she be able to play and change other memories or is that going to far with just forgetting?
Imagine if it's Kinger, the one who's "supposedly been here the longest" (as Jax says), and the reason he's so disconnected from what's going on around him most of the time is because his mind is literally elsewhere doing admin stuff trying to figure out how to get himself out of this situation, because he accidentally trapped himself like everyone else and that wasn't part of the plan
I feel that Gangler is an NPC, That behavior of being happy with the mask attached and being sad once it breaks doesn't seem like a person personality trait, but something programmed, All the other characters have their personalities marked, Gangler is the only one who depends on a factor to determine her mood.

I have a theory about Abstracting, you abstract if you feel forgotten or get unwanted (like how kaufmo abstracted because people didn’t laugh/react to his jokes and stuff) and since pomni made friends at the end of the episode she won’t abstract (yet)
I think abstraction is more or less a metaphor to giving up on your life if that makes sense. Which is why Kinger is going kinda crazy but isn't abstracting, he's kind of out of it right now, he doesn't remember things so how can he feel sad? Kaufmo abstracted because he felt worthless, unwanted and with no control over his situation. Jax is probably coping and not abstracting because he has control through the adventures they go in (making other people suffer so he feels better about himself). Ragatha is ignoring her problems by taking care of others, so she doesn't have to look at her own stuff (constantly worrying about Pomni). Gangle is harder to tell, but i think she probably copes with art in her own room, since we see she draws and stuff. Zooble i'm not quite sure what they do to cope, but i feel like they're isolating themselves to deal with it alone, and if i had to guess who's abstracting next it might be them. Pomni was feeling worthless and unloved, but when she saw ppl in the circus cared about Kaufmo's abstraction, she felt like he had ppl to count on.

I think the mask for gangle is also a coping mechanism and who knows there could be a third mask under her sad one possibly anger

From someone who's in college to be a film director and writer, I 100% agree with Ranboo's rant about the current state of the film industry
I would love if Ranboo ever reacts to Murder Drones, seeing how they like the fact that there can be real violence and that the studio can do whatever they want, I think Murder Drones is a thing they would like.

I have a theory about the amazing digital circus that the only way to escape is to abstract because like if you go insane the code can’t sustain your mind so you’re pushed out and because there’s nothing in the sprite it glitches and spreads to other parts of the code
I don’t understand why people are suddenly hating on Jax. He was an ass in the first episode and everyone loved him. Now he’s an ass in this episode but suddenly everyone hates him because of it?? I’m confused.
i was paying more attention to chat than anything else and saw the surprise upon the picking up of the spider, so i would like to say this, since i love spiders and can never give up a chance to talk about them:
spiders arent gonna do shit to you lmao you can pick them up if you want as long as you dont pinch or crush them. i do it all the time for fun and i have never been bit
yeah and unless you live in the depths of hell(australia) you don't need to be worried about the spider being the few 10% dangerous spiders, since it's probably just a common household one

I just realised looking at the captions that Pomni said mom but Gummigoo said mum because he’s Australian.
Ranboo rants are cooking so hard that they could be considered cooking shows
watching a ranboo reaction is a great way to test your patience and tolerance
mostly the timing of the pauses during the most important scenes 😭
i was sure gummigoo was gonna escape by editing his own model to make himself all long or something.
Theory: Abstraction doesn’t happen when they go insane but when they get too close to figuring out how to exit the circus (thus why kaufmo’s room had drawings of the exit all over it)
Also something else I noticed: this episode had teapots in it- and in the pilot we saw a teapot in the theme song. Coincidence? I think not! Does it mean nothing and I’m getting way too obsessed with little inconsequential details? …probably
I’m getting obsessed with them as well it’s not only you. But I think your theory could be right. There’s like so many opportunities and twists and things that could happen and I really like how they’ve done that.
From what I know, the teapot model is a common item to test out lighting on when rendering, since it's relatively simple to model. Could be tied to a theory ofc but it's always there because of that reference to 3D animation and stuff :]

I spent the last three years caregiving for my grandmother with dementia, and while hers was different and more extreme bc of her age and disease type, it was still very accurate to irl. I really love Kinger and hope he can bring more love and representation to the elderly and their mental health issues and journeys

I think you are combining Gangle and Kinger's names. Anyway I'm pretty sure that she is human because she has been confirmed to be an anime lover, and it has also been confirmed that Caine has no knowledge of the internet so there is likely no way to show an NPC an anime from the real world unless a bunch of different animes were for some reason uploaded into the digital world.

Abstracted aren’t dead, they are more, unlocked the control of their normal form to make themselves as big as they can, trying to rip themselves apart, failing them just hoping to damage the system so it crashes and they have peace. Because it’s over then. They are an emotional mess. Not laughing at his jokes. The only thing he doesn’t have control over are their minds, because they are wet worked in. Cane saves them.

Unpopular opinion, Kinger is the main villain. Think about it, he's been here the longest, he is the last person you'd suspect, and he keeps talking about bugs, which if you think about it, computers have bugs. He also keeps spacing out, or maybe tabbing out? Like someone who created this would definitely be able to do. His bad memory? Probably faking it, Having those episodes where his body just goes crazy? Custom emotes to make him look crazy.
