I actually have epilepsy and people are always kinda confused how I can play the game. I used to really love ddr and taiko but it got to a point where I wasn't being able to stand or hold the sticks. It's one of the only games that I don't experience seizures while playing and it's really been so great.

the reason 6 and 7 digits are so good now is because it's really hard to get into higher ranks since there's so many people on the game now- i'm rank 1.6mil and just started playing 3 star maps
It is pretty easy actually. Since there are so many easy farm maps.

But yesterday I did hit 6 digits after about 16-18 hours of total playtime idk if thats good or anything just wanted to share
6 digit are getting so good that there is a tournament scene for them.

Yea 6 digits have come a long way, even tho many are still making fun of 6 digits, we (I am 6d myself) have fully fletched tournaments now with known poolers and participation numbers hitting 200 players in big tournaments. There is even a 6 digit community league in the planning :D
If you wonder: SR of the played maps range from 4.2* in qualifiers to 5.0* -5.2* or more in Grand Finale
People have to remember that 100k - 999k is just as huge of a skill gap as 3 digit and 4 digit is (or 4d and 5d, at least I heard that's a big gap).

250ks are still playing 30 second 4 star farm maps and setting tops on that but I have a 150k friend with a dt ascension to heaven pass (9.73*) which definitely exceeded my expectations
there's a huge leap in skill between the 200k-100k range for sure
i disagree, I was at 330k and all i had to do to get to 140k is literally spam sotarks farm maps it just depends on how much you are willing to farm honestly

You need 445 pp and above in standard to be top 1 mil (start of 6 digit). To get to 5 digits it's a whopping 4034 pp and above. So yeah 5 digit players are pretty insane likely around the 5* to 6* range. Some even higher. And even 6 digits are around the 3* range. (1267 pp is to get to top 500k)

Depends of if it's true alternating or fake alternating
You can easily alternate if the beat is slow, but if on faster songs where it actually matters you tend to go back to single tapping or fingerlock then you are fake alternating, and that's not skillfull at all*
The one in this video is true alternating, which IS an insane skill as it allows for way easier finger control and stamina*
@@daridon2483 I don't do that haha. I alternate everything no matter what. single tapping feels awkward and throws off my accuracy. Also I only tend to play high BPM tech maps and streams maps. Like one of my favorites is Bassdrop freaks Lasse's Extra
