The days of total football by the Dutch, which they’ve been known for since 1974 seem long gone. They played like the Wimbledon team of Vinnie Jones and John Fashanu in that game tonight
Even though we beat them It's weirdly sad seeing what's become of them. They've got some good players but they're miles off the 2010 side let alone the sides they had before that. The Dutch FA need to try and work out why they've declined so badly. Did well getting to a semi though.
That is beacuse england buys all our talents and ruins them on the bench we can't compete with the money being spend by the big competitions and our talents dont want to stay long at the eredivisie so they are too immature too grow into big players.

Many countries have lifted the trophy after scraping through the group stage, England strolled the group, they did cut it fine with the Bellingham equalizer, a lot of teams have to win penalty shootouts on the way to winning the trophy. First half last night was the best they have played, they deserved to go through. Sunday will be a close game, and Spain have looked good, but far from unbeatable, also a lot of the England players will not be fazed by the build up to Sunday and playing the game, they have the experience of the last final. I think they will win it.

Bloody ignorant of O'Hara to claim that Gareth got it right at last. There's absolutely no guarantee that if he had made any of the substitutions that people like O'Hara have been clamouring for they would have been successful. Quite the opposite in fact. They could well have resulted in us being knocked out in an earlier round. As Gary Neville pointed out, there's no man who has participated in more tournament football than Gareth participating both as player and manager. Prior to him taking over, England hadn't even won a game in the knock out stages for TEN years!! Maybe previous managers had disrupted the team too soon chasing the win instead of trusting the players on the pitch, trusting the process, imparting belief, remaining patient and pushing the team to ever greater success. I love coming on here for the reaction... Southgate has been clueless, and now he is Bill Shankly in a blink of an eye.. The Dutch made a tactical change that put them back in the game. The second half was 50/50 then Shankly realised that Kanes mobility scooter was ready to take him back to the hotel, and off he came. Watkins makes a run into the channel, and the rest is history..

Then Holland started to grow into the game until Gareth decided to roll the dice with three minutes to go because Holland were looking the most likely to score.
