      Oh my God tell me about it. I'm basically just going to use those settings on each mode because it seems fine. Every other person likes to get in depth and confuse the user who has no idea about the machine (hence them trying to find a guide). People even go off and do tests half way through for examples and then you forget where u were on your machine and it can turn south quickly. Best to do it how this guy has, just simple and basic and fairly quick but in the way that it needs to be you don't need to drag on things that don't matter when it comes to this stuff.

    Interesting video , Bread and butter programme . I like to GB?? F1,5T ,IB3, R4 .Always AM at a low volume so you can here the iron in with your threshold . I find the noxie quiet easy machine to set up . Popped a cut at over 8 inch sens was only 16 as a noisey field. They love small items. Enjoying the 15 first run out with it popped a denarius on a worked out site .Impressive as my son had a lovely brooch out a few weeks previous within 20 yards of my find . And had hammered that area couldn't believe it when I popped it lol .

    • @emmathedoggy
      @emmathedoggy Před 4 lety

      Hi Gary, I have sorted it out. If you get a signal and it's fairly erratic, it means that it's not round and jagged. Rather than a round object will give you a clear fix. Also I found out that if you hit a noise turn 90 degrees on the object and if you still get the same noise, it's worth digging. Sometimes when you dig the object out it can fall on its edge and you lose signal, hence why we keep losing signal when we try and dig it out. Hope this helps. The only way to learn is to keep going out and trying different ways. 👍

      Large iron will still give a high tone, sometimes if you turn off the iron discrimination you can hear the iron grunt either side of the false target tone. Turning up the iron bias will eventually mute it but at the cost that you might miss targets that are good and being masked by close
      Proximity iron.

  • @TheViewInWellington
    @TheViewInWellington Před 4 lety +1

    i personally think dont touch any settings at all, i still run factory settings after 6months, if you change something then you could lose stuff,
    the only recomendation i would suggest is if you go to one place numerous times, after you start noticing no targets, then change things, like increase sensitivity and threshold to get deeper items and smaller items, but places like the beach, new items get washed up weekly, and its all about being in the right place at the right time, settings change doesnt help at the beach
    the best tip ive learnt which many detectorists seem to fail at, ive compared myself with others using same detector, and found stuff they have missed, walk slow, really slow, theres no rush, swing coil low, as low to the ground as possible, to the point its touching the ground,the gap between the ground and coil, is lost depth you are missing, make sure you overlap your swings, and also go over the same ground, example, if you walking north to south, then redetect south to north, then east to west and then west to east, etc, the detector can miss items if its on a angle

    Don't need to ground balance? Bad advice- you don't know what sort of ground everyone else has, and ground balance can not negatively affect your hunting. As to the sub menu items, people need to read the info about them and decide if they need adjusting based on conditions in the field.

    sto leggendo in "giro" che tanta gente compra x la prima volta, metal detector di fascia alta : equinox, deus, ( 3030) ecc,ecc. questa povera gente /avventurosa) si deve mettere in testa di partire con un garrett 150 /350. e simili di altre marche , in modo da imparare a farsi l'orecchio e di capire i primi passi da fare con quelle macchine. - in tanti passano subbito sulle ferrari ,Jaguar e porche, sensa aver mai portato una macchina. ciao sfigati, cambiate hobby, o ripartite dal basso.
