My mom's bank account was hacked yesterday and hostaged and to get it back they requested money. And my mom was about to do it but I saw it in her mails and recognized it was a scam right away so instead I contacted her bank. Thanks for bringing awareness to these scumbags❤️

I watch your stuff and the team of baiters enough to be considered a binge watcher (stalker works too) Two days ago I was in a Target. Elderly lady is looking at the gift card rack and obviously upset. Her cell phone was down by her hip. I grabbed the Manager, she called the Police and I talked her down off her ledge then asked for her phone. As expected, they were monitoring her every move. I am a retired Police Officer that worked Cyber Crime

How I wish I could send a strong electrical JOLT to these scammers through the phone. I just nipped a "survey" call by asking, "¿Se habla Español? This was likely an American dude, but I couldn't understand him at all. Had he been in India, they don't likely speak Spanish either. 😊 ¡Olé!

As someone that has worked at different banks, a request of funds usually over $5,000 has to be submitted since banks don't keep that kind of cash on hand and not available until the next day at the earliest. Also, a branch manager would speak to the customer if it's unusual to make such a large withdrawal.

@@brianvillage5 They do have that much on hand but don't want to keep too much in case of someone robbing them. Think of any bank robberies you've heard of on the news, the amount is usually under $5,000. While a bank needs money during the day for operations, usually if someone needs more than that amount it's not a last minute thing or needed right in that moment.

I’ve been bInge watching your Videos for 3 days straight. Thank you so much for putting out this content. My 86 year old mother was scammed so badly she called me crying (thank god). I told her don’t worry it’s a scam. She was so upset. The worst thing is she felt like she was a “stupid old lady”, her words. We were able to cancel all her cards and contact the bank. I just thank God, she didn’t lose any money.
By the way, speaking of dad's - I have been sharing all of your recent videos with my dad (since you began sharing the new scams which are occurring.} He helps a large group of local seniors in his community with computer security upkeep after they had some major computer hacking into their systems. I'm pretty sure he has been sharing your videos with them. Thanks for what you are doing!

I think that it would be tempting to send them a package with Monopoly money and a glitter bomb. There's a guy that makes them for package thieves and you are able to video who opens the package. The video goes straight to the cloud so that even if they destroyed the device you have the video.

The scammers are getting to know that the time of the Gift Cards Scam is almost over, the time of sending hard cash to India is beginning, however this will prove very difficult for scammers to get the money into India. They will need "Mules" to bring cash into the country as money transfers will have a paper trail which the authorities can follow to hopefully catch the "Big Fish" at the top of the pile.
