    I’ve driven cayennes from the 955 it was a great start but had so many quality issues. The 957 was a leap but still had engine issues. Latest models are brilliant. I’m doing 20-25000 miles a year in these cars and they’re great even soft off road.

      Performance yes. Looks and technology have never been its strong suit. Build quality and reliability in addition to performance are its strengths. I have owned two 911 models and it’s worth it for a sports car but an SUV is not a sports car. You are not taking it to the track and you are not pushing it with other people on board. Modern family cars have become ridiculously powerful but then what? What does one do with that performance capacity other than land in jail in most states at a premium price?

    • @jw3252
      @jw3252 Před 7 měsíci

      @@drstevej2527 I think the classic lines of Porsches are far nicer than the constantly changing, angular and weird BMWs. I love driving the Macan and the Cayenne. They in no way feel like SUV boats, especially the Macan. Great daily drivers and fun to boot.

    • @drstevej2527
      @drstevej2527 Před 7 měsíci

      @@jw3252
      Then you are in the minority as most people consider the looks to be a glorified VW and the technology horrible compared with the BMW system. In the end they are SUVs/ crossovers meaning that they are not sports cars. More fun than another German SUV is still an SUV. It’s not a 911.
      The Macan is the smallest car in the class so yes it’s nicer to drive but it defeats the purpose of the SUV class compared with the BMW M X3.
