- Since riding my motorbike in 2021 I've clocked up 22 thousand miles & 583 hours riding in exhilarating places. My GoPro camera sometimes captures animals & other items in the road! I know you guys know to #stay alert whilst riding because you just never know what's going to pop out in front of you! Motorcyclist generally I think have a more heightened sense of awareness as we know things can get a little unpredictable sometimes.

OK if the inevitable is going to happen & you just can't avoid it then I guess then that's just life, at least we'll go doing the thing we enjoy the most, riding....

Hi last Friday a muntjac ran about three metres in front of my car, it did make it safe to the other side of the road.
Enjoyed this video, just shows you never know what's round the next corner.
No doubt I'll have a part 2 to come to follow this vid but fingers crossed I'll get past the without any impacts!
I was going to work along a main road many years ago now. Up ahead I saw a Mini start to spin 360 and head towards me. It did two maybe three spins I had no where to go but just before impact it caught the wheels on the kerb and bounced over into a lay-by landing upright, closest shave I’ve ever had.
Crikey! I bet that lasted seconds but seemed longer at the time? I once was riding my 125cc many moons ago to work early in the morning down a straight road, it was misty, all of a sudden a horse appeared running head on towards my bike, I slowed as it just deviated past me into the mist! I thought I was dreaming!
Lots of potholes around here
I don't think we will have a hosepipe ban this summer but if we did we could use all the water in the potholes to fill the reservoirs 🤣

A Fiat Panda south bound (in the fast lane) on the north bound side of the A19 in Teesside, in the dark. On another occasion, a 2 seater settee and then the chair . . . A19 . . in the dark. I used 'the force' to avoid both. Alerted the police.
Crikey! That's probably the worse case scenario, fast lane & in the dark! jeez you did well to avoid that! And yes, with those seats in the road too, it gives another dimension to the name street furnishings! Glad to hear you came through unscathed!
