- Hillary transformed her small bathroom in a huge way with the build of a DIY Pottery Barn vanity. She was able to build the vanity herself for over $1700 cheaper than the original from Pottery barn--which means she could customize the vanity to perfectly fit her bathroom with this DIY dupe! She was even able to create a custom concrete counter top from scratch and it pulls the whole bathroom together in such an amazing way. Great job!! I'm excited to do this in my bathroom. I have a question about the countertop measurements. How much overhang did you add to the countertop, and is it the same in the back as the other 3 sides? I was thinking it only needs to be equal to the baseboard thickness in back. Thanks! I don't need your total exact dimensions because I need to adjust all of them for my space.

I love this, I’d love to know how the counter top has held up since built? Are there any things you think you wish you had done differently with it? I really want to try something like this for my teenagers’ bathroom.
It’s held up great!! I do wish I would have used my sander a bit more to get more air bubbles out, but honestly I love it!!

My husband and I poured a cement slab for the hearth of our fireplace. Just a tip for anyone that’s going to attempt that make sure your drill is powerful enough to mix the cement. Ours started smoking and then started on fire 🤣🥴

Yes! It was pretty easy. Just connected the hose and had to get a longer drain pipe. But easy peasy.
