Not gonna lie, wasn't a fan of Nick at first, but over the last 6 months or so, and especially the last few weeks, he's grown on me. It's nice to see someone actually stand by what they believe, rather than pander to the crowd out of fear, and that shit needs to stop, now.
Idk he has always been a man of his words. Now he is just posting more content related to that. Only talking about gaming does not give you much room for other stuff and now that gaming is off the table for a while he can focus on voicing his own opinion more.
And regarding the "stand by what they believe" comment: I can imagine that it is not easy to go that road when you are already an established creator/actor/musician etc. whos livelihood depends on certain sponsorships, marketing deals and the public opinion. I can understand why there might be a lot of people shying away from the confrontation because they might get "canceled" and lose everything. As Nick figured out that his fanbase revolves around him as a person and got rid of the haters he was able to go that road. Because keep in mind: He kind of went dark for a few days in the past when things got heated/taken out of context/fueled artificially
