  • Hello everyone, after the local breakfast Zhazha noodle, I'm gonna spend my weekend in Chuanwang Village in Qionglai City of Sichuan Province in China. The stone stairs of tea horse ancient route, lush mountains and fields, curling smoke and birdsongs, modern restaurants and hostels... can you imagine 5 year ago, this was a poor village even without a proper road connecting to the outside world? Can't wait to figure out the story behind the transformation!

It looks like a very relaxing place to stay. I really like the ethnic song you played. And I have to say your drone footage was excellent.

This is not an authentic rural China. Advice people who plan to have a stay in this type of developed for tourism villages to check the latest status as not many of them are well maintain or managed.

It is true that the rural areas in some parts of China are very backward, and the locals are not well off, or barely make ends meet. If that is what’s called authentic. However, everything is developing, and there are modern rural villages with development. I think it is biased to argue which one is the authentic one.
