When I make shit I do the same as you, I just sit down and fuck around with my material and once I see something I like I go in that direction. I think it's the most fun, just exploring and being surprised by the results.

At 3:51 when you have to stretch the layer, for me it doesnt let me stretch one way (vertical) it stretches both ways instead. How do i fix this so it only stretches vertical?
You may need to hold down shift so it doesn’t transform uniformly!

I have no idea tbh, but do you have access to Lightroom at all? It has all the same tools near identical. The mobile app version of Lightroom is amazing too!
