Emerald Princess New York City | 9/11 Memorial | Solo Travel Vlog

Hello Travelers,
In August of 2023, I did my first full transit of the Panama Canal with Princess cruises. It was a 19 day cruise, the longest I had been on to date.
Our cruise ended in New York City, and I stayed a few days afterwards, since I had not been there before. This first day, I visited the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It was an emotional experience, and I think they did a very nice job with the site.
I did find it disturbing to see people taking selfies at the reflecting pools though. It seemed disrespectful to me. This is a place many people perished, and not one of the usual tourist traps.
