    A pleasure to watch. Amazed that the G.N.R. Atlantic is coal fired. Could I ask a question please ? How do you secure the track to the concrete track bed.

      Yes the GNR coal fired Atlantic is a marvel. FYI the ballast glued down by PVA or my preference SBR (undiluted) is sufficient to hold the track down to concrete base.

    Excellent,gorgeous one.
    Got a question id highly appreciate to have solved,when it comes to LNER J27 JOHN model im doubting if its a single cylinder one or its having 2.
    Thankful for the info and keep the great work up

      Actually it was built by the late Alan Smith who made many very fine O gauge live steam models. The J27 has two cylinders. But it also has a governor. At the point of it 'slipping' there is a slight rise which would cause the loco to stall. The governor will kick in and open the regulator causing more output braking the traction on the slippery track causing the governor to close the regulator and the engine slowly regaining traction and almost stalling again......
