Well, i would prefer a direct honest truth, over hints, cause i tend not to get them at all.
Moral of the story: Always respect other people's boundaries, no matter how much you like to be with them. There is a time to show up and a time to keep your distance.
that is one moral- the other (imo more important) moral is to firmly set boundaries instead of blowing up for people not knowing where the boundary is. Don't get me wrong, Baxter should have realized the boundaries, but it is important clearly setting boundaries so others don't have to guess where they are.
Couple deserve the best relationship with each other but the Bff was basically holding them back!! Baxter needs to respect boundaries while maintaining friendship!! It will be too awkward for everyone, damn fool!!

Baxter was a real friend for understanding and apologising. If someone is third wheeling and you don’t like it tell them immediately!
1.) Don't wait for Baxter to get the hint. As soon as you felt the way you did, tell him IMMEDIATELY.
2.) Why is it in him to tell Baxter? Couldn't Shannon have told him?

Not much worse than a 3rd wheel tagging along everywhere you go! It's very impolite, intrusive, & can also be seen as a true (even if unintentional) violation of ones privacy. Not saying it's never fine to join a couple on an outing, but not 24/7 such as Baxter in this video. Couples should be allowed alone time, just the two of them! This way they can have an opportunity to talk, be intimate if the moods right, and focus their attention solely on each other! Thank you for creating this!❤️
Third wheels can be fun if they know how to behave and mind ya manners. If the third wheel is not welcomed, respect it enough to leave and move on.

This is an excellent and informative video with a great message. Baxter doesn't appear to intentionally try to be rude, annoying, etc by hanging around with his friend and girlfriend when they want to be alone. Baxter appears to struggle with nonverbal social cues, taking a hint, etc. I respect how when Baxter learned about what was going on, he apologized, learned his lesson, and made it up to his friend and friend's girlfriend.
This was one of the reasons my last ex became an ex.
Your spouse/partner should always come over and above your friends, family and your job. Never let anything come between you two.

I honestly feel bad for Baxter.. some people aren’t great at reading social cues. I don’t think he really understood he wasn’t wanted there. Some people have trouble taking hints, you have to directly tell them.
He wasn’t intentionally being annoying or anything. The boyfriend should’ve been straight forward with him from the beginning instead of trying to drop hints when Baxter clearly wasn’t picking up on the hints.
All of this could’ve been avoided if he would’ve just been honest with Baxter from the beginning

In all honesty, I know exactly what Baxter’s situation was like, bc in 9th grade, I was actually in his shoes when my best friend started dating one of my female friends. At first, I was happy for them. But then, as time when on, I got a little bit jealous, not bc of the two of them dating but bc my best friend seemed to wanna spend more of his time with his girlfriend than me, his best friend. I unawarely started third-wheeling them during a school field trip and it nearly costed their relationship. I found out what I was doing wrong before it was too late and apologized the very next day.

My friend was a little bit like Baxter not so much now but before she got me and my boyfriend together we appreciated it we appreciated her getting us together but when we wanted alone time now and again she wanted us to hang out with us and if we tried to tell her in a nice way she would say who got you to together you own me and we said yeah we appreciate you getting us together but we don't own you for getting us together for the rest of our lives but she apologise and understood what we were saying

Warning long comment and sorry for my spelling and grammar errors in advance, In Middle school at lunchtime for the class I was in my twin’s teacher burnt paper the boy I was sitting next to smelled smoke but I didn’t until he mentioned it then after he mentioned it I smelled smoke then the fire alarms went off then after he gave me an origami rose and then the next day he asked me if I wanted to have S** I didn’t know what that meant I was only in 7th grade and he kept asking until I said yes and then told me to meet in the bathroom after school. Thankfully I was a bus rider and have special needs so I didn’t want to go in the boy’s bathroom so I decided to go on the bus and pretended I forgot I felt guilty for ditching him but now I’m thankful I was a bus rider then next a year later he asked again I already told my parents then and they were shocked and told me what it meant so I told him no then in 9th grade he asked me again at lunch I said no it’s against my religion and then in Career Prep B while we had a substitute he asked me again I didn’t want to cuss saying that word in front of the substitute because she probably would’ve sent me to the principal’s office so I felt a tugging towards one of my twin sister’s friend’s and remembered my grandmother used to work worth her mother my grandmother was a special ed teacher and my twin’s friend’s mom is a 2nd grade teacher so that thought and tug gave me the idea to tell her and I did the boy asked if I told on him I lied because I didn’t want him to know then my twin’s friend told my twin sister my twin told my mom my mom called the school counselor the school counselor called me which got me out of my least favorite class then I went back to class the next day the boy was removed from my Career Prep B class and the only time I saw him was getting off the bus in the morning in the cafeteria then the next year he moved from Not giving my real state away but will give a close by state he moved from TN to California same distance so I never saw him again. To this day I know Jesus is real and helped me because I did ask Jesus what do I do in my head it took time but he answered and I’m thankful for that and I’ll never forget this testimony
