The first time I watched this series was 2009 or 2010, I can't quite remember exactly. All I was playing back then was Fallout 3 and later New Vegas, as I am a huge fan since the first Fallout. And this series inspired not only many of my F3 and FNV playthroughs, but also some mods I did for personal use and inspired me to write post apocalyptic fiction. I'm always returning here to watch it again, to feel some comfy nostalgia for older days...
This will always remain as one of the strongest pillars why I love the fallout franchise. Watched this again after playing 76 for the first time. There's a town called Grafton and I hope the devs named it after Andrew.
This is actually really well done. Shots like the helmet to the skull transition show how much effort was put into this. Also like the dark ending, keeps with the theme of the game itself and the wasteland. Basically its as good as I remembered it being when i watched years ago :)
This is absolutely amazing ! I feel like I just watched a movie. I had a really crappy day and this just changed it. Great work man, hope you continue on with this. You got yourself a sub. :)
First of all this series is timeless, it was when the fallout series was at its greatest, Fallout 3 really was a great fallout game like f1, f2 and New Vegas.
I remember watching this awhile back and enjoying the whole thing. It's absolutely amazing. Just imagine what they could do with Fallout 4. Now that is something I would pay to see.
Smough Ornstein Oh no we triggered the Brit! How do you even know if he's American? The British are 63% overweight or obese vs 67% in the US, yeah you really have room to talk about being fat.
I really enjoyed watching this. Even though I have fallout 4 I re-installed fallout 3 because of this. I want to thank you for making such a film and sharing it. I can't imagine how long it took to edit this. So thank you for being awesome ^_^.
Reminds me of good old Fallout 1, finding a waterchip, the caravan people don't believe there is a big monster snatching people (deathclaw), water merchants and the dilemma of giving away the vault location, the music is from F1 and F2 at times. Clearly inspired by the old games, which is good.
I loved this film. I remember when FALLOUT 4 was downloading to my console I watched all of this in peices . Now waiting for my Far Harbor dlc to download and watched it all in one go. nice job
I think this show is more in line with fallout 1's depiction of super mutants as the biggest threat in the wasteland. Where if they were not stopped they destroyed everything including the Brotherhood unless the pc does something about it.
That line at 28:06 really hits me now I know the Fallout universe and the fucked up it really is. "When you kill a man, don't go feeling all guilty about it. It's just one less piece of shit in this world." It sounds like a surface level thing but there's such a deeper meaning behind it that sends chills down my spine. In the best way, this series is amazing!
Commenting just to show some late support. This series was amazing. Love the Michael Barnes and Andrew Grafton bro development. Wish we could've seen more. If anything, this was just like Interstellar level of amazement for a Fallout 3 Machinima. Deserves a sequel, but it is amazing nonetheless. Drakortha, if you're reading this, love the work. Watched this when I was a kid, now I'm a growing adult. Much support, much love.
We started work on a Season 2 that was written as a sequel, would answer many questions and expand the DC Chronicles story even broader. Unfortunately the project run into productivity issues a few years ago. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for watching!
I watched this movie back in 2021 and now here I am sitting on the toilet trying to find it again and it took me about 15 minutes to finally find it 😂 im so glad i found it lol
really fantastic cinematography for a machinima; this is really, really really well shot.. not only is it written and acted out well, but the camera shots add a sense of immersion comparable to any well recorded live action film. great work, I'm thoroughly impressed.
Oh lord the smell in that subway must been so horrific lol the soundinlay from Fallout 2 is lovely :) What in the Hell i just watched 0_0 Heck thats damn good stuff. Sir you are a Genious. when i play Fallout 3 once again i will see it with totally Diffrent eyes. Voiceacting plot (from Fallout 1) awesomly integrated in this world the Editing is just great that is a heck of a lot work You put in there im a Story writer myself, nearby i Writing Story for Tabletop games and working on my own one in between. I saw a bunch of fanmade "films" not only on Fallout but what you did, is standing out noticeable from the wide mass, that are not much more than overvoiced Let's plays. sadly i just found this Gem you made.
Britain wouldn’t have weapons like this in such great disposal, Britain is so anti gun. Everyone in the wasteland would be fighting with crappy melee weapons!
Wow!! I'm a die hard fan of Fallout3. This video was absolutely amazing! I can only imagine the painstaking nights it took to assemble this to a director's satisfaction. Packed with immersion in the year 2274. Introduction of in game locations from a vault dweller's perspective. What a treat to find this...Well done!!
This was amazing, really makes me wanna play Fallout 3 again. (Haven't played it for a long time since I platinumed it on PS3 about a year maybe two ago.) Is there a sequel to this?
Loved this episodic serial as it unfolded week by week. It will be in my hart always. Hope you keep up the content man my hart-stings are awwww so moved. Love ya.
on one more note: is a shame that this series got discontinued .. hopefully someday somehow the right people will gather once again to complete it even if it still feel like a well rounded full season that leave you wandering what could have happened afterwards ..? was nice to see this once again after several years says the Belmont who was just playing Fallout 3 a day ago
Awesome, fuckin awesome! This short movie had more atmosphere, story and action than some top rated films i have watched. Man! top fucking notch. Best thing i have watched in years, Have a million and one thumbs up guys. :)
man i still remember when i found this movie ages ago, but it was split in parts now i found it a full version of it nice.. i still remember this cos everytime i do an epic VATS gory mess Kill the unforgiven song plays in my mind haha
I damn near died of nostalgia I remember watching this on my grandma's pc after school while she made food for me. Those were the days...
Legendary time really flys now we have fallout 4 an 76
This is the shit. Its been so long since ive seen this

Film story = Fallout 1 scenario. But adapted with Fallout 3 places. Smart. And great result! Congratulations!
I always come back to this every few years, currently playing New Vegas & Fallout 3, one of the best series.

Still coming back to this in 2023, hoping there's a full sequal to this
It's rather criminal that this doesn't have more likes, considering the amount of views. A real nostalgic gem, this one.
I remember watching these when it first came out. I still watch them now in 2023. These are classic!

a lot of Brits in the Capitol Wasteland these days 😂

Damn and now far harbour is old news. wierd to see how time works haha
the fucking begining :D there are like 10 BOS soldiers and they cant kill a fucking BRUTE?!!
i never liked Fallout 3's cannon fodder super mutants.
+Drakortha agreed. they should be fucken power houses. great job btw
I think this show is more in line with fallout 1's depiction of super mutants as the biggest threat in the wasteland. Where if they were not stopped they destroyed everything including the Brotherhood unless the pc does something about it.
well in Fo3 the power armour is really weak it took me two shots with the laser rifle to kill a Bos soldier

This is basically the plot of fallout 1 but with a fallout 3 skin
This has some pretty high production value, great job!
This was a really good series I enjoy rewatcing this up there with what fallout story telling can be and how good it can be when it comes to a story.
I love how beefy the gun noises are!
Thomas Weeden I would love to have a mod that replaces base game gunshots with these sounds, pretty well done.
This is THE best Fallout related thing I've ever seen, and has so many details and hard work put into it. AMAZING!
