Amazing. I got into fragrance heavy 1.5 years ago. This was one of my first blind buys ....I despised it. I was into citrus, fresh, and fougeres. This is 180 degrees from that. As you said, sweet and dense. Now, my nose has certainly matured and I love this. The same with Tom Ford Noir Extreme. At first I was shocked anyone would wear that. Now, anytime it's a cool night I grab for it instantly. It's truly amazing how the sense of smell works and how the brain can react badly at first, then fall in love some time later. It's not always love at first sniff.
My reaction was the same. I got it bc my bottle or regular YSL L’homme came with one of those gift packs and had small versions of other YSL fragrances. I didnt care for either one. Now…one of em I still dont like. I dont know the name of it, but its in a black bottle. Its just too musky and strong. But Intense? That one really grew on me and became one of my favorite scents. I grew to like it more than the original l’homme

Probably my favourite L’Homme flanker. So classy and elegant. No shower gel freshness to be found here, it’s spices and woods.

This thing is underrated. I got this one a few years back, and forgot about it because the fragrance community doesn’t ever talk about it. This video reminded me that I have it, so I pulled it back out and remembered how good it is

Kudos to you for reviewing this fragrance. Many reviewers on You Tube don’t give this fragrance the credit it deserves. I think it’s awesome. For the price I paid I bought 2 bottles. Great review and I liked your honest approach pointing out both your likes and dislikes.

I love this one as well! Ulta had a crazy clearance right at the beginning of the pandemic where they had the 100ml of this for $27. I grabbed 3! Great review Aaron love your content and honesty.

I was wearing this just the other day and I find it wonderful. I really like YSL's men fragrances and have six different ones from them.
I recently found an old bottle of the original L’homme. I loved this fragrance so much . And now there’s nothing out there that smells like it anymore. The current formulation has almost nothing in common with the original. Which is a bummer. But I was able to get my hands on a decant of N older formulation from Steve at Fragrance Fanatic. That was such a nice gesture. Anyway, I love L’homme, and this makes me excited to try out the newer L’homme Intense. Thanks for the great review!

Thank you for reviewing one of my favourite Fragrances ever. I have been wearing this one for 6 years now and it still gets me compliments but the older formulation which is called „Parfum Intense“ from 2013-2015 is better than the newer formulations (I’ve had several batches).
What's your take on the 2022 EDP lhomme my friend?

I just bought this the reviewers are all over the place on this one from hate….to love. I do like a sweeter fragrance in cooler weather. One of my favorites is Armani Code ‘Profumo I’m glad I found your site, you even get a little into the chemistry of the fragrance. I just ordered this and I hope I love this as much as you do. Great review as usual, Aaron. I like this one too but unfortunately on me it didnt last or project much at all. It was very similar to the original L'homme - skin scent pretty much the entire time.

That’s the difference between designer for £60 and a smaller house like mine. I think it’s great for a designer for £60.00 if it was higher then Id mark it much lower.
Aaron, in other videos I've heard you talk about musks, white musks, oriental musks, etc. I'm wondering if you could break that down for those you've aspired to try perfumery. For instance. I love the musks in both Oajan and Herod that you've reviewed.

This fragrance is great for some memorable events, it's very easy and pleasant to associate some special moments & memories with it.

I smelled lhomme intense on a strip and I LOVED it right away… I came back another day to try it on my skin and it smelled like burning smoke and I hated it lol.. I’ve never hated a parfum that I loved on paper. I really wanted to buy this one but on my skin it was a different scent. Most scents are still similar on paper/skin but it must be the natural ambergris chemistry on my skin. But I really loved it on a paper strip.
Can you do a review for L'Homme Ultime - Bro that one has blown my mind, the soft powdery rose in there is unreal.

I really like that you are so safety obsessed, but as a consumer and not someone in the industry, I wouldn’t know what to look for, and (pls correct me if I’m wrong) expect that these things have been checked before it can be released to the public?

On your point about hoping people see if box is safe, legal and compliant - I just see if the brand is reputable and assume it is. Huge companies like YSL, Chanel, Dior, Hermes, Azzaro, etc. I just take at face value it is legal and safe.

It was my first fragrance I've ever bought. I was 17 and I didn't know anything about fragrance. This was the first perfume I tried that wasn't a typical man's blue fragrance and that's why I loved it. I still wear it and still like it.
How many hours does it last , im looking into buying it

Mine went bad I think, because it smells to me like a combination of sweat, fabric softener, Fazer's Dumle candies, orange blossom, cigarettes, and wool sweater.
