This is by far my favourite series, please continue it with all the popular DNAs! Really reveals some hidden gems and twists of some classics
Trussardi Riflesso , smells pretty damn close. If your on a budget and want that same scent. This one is it.
Love the fact that you are 1) a frag fan and 2) a wrestling fan... you and Dan in a casket match🔥lets go!!!
Trussardi's Riflesso also not a bad alternative. With prices consistently dropping on many Trussardi fragrances recently at discounters, it's a solid budget option.
I own both f black and LA nuit de lhomme... And i can confidently say its not that similar, I'd say just the powdery note is similar, but only that. Imo you can't compare those two tbh. I still like f black a lot, it's refined and super cheap, and performance is great, miles ahead of the la nuit de lhomme, but I'd say only 40% similar.
I completely agree with you. I have ferragamo f black and I do not see any relationship at all. YSL all day.

Absolutely same. I personally love it, so if he does/doesn’t, I would love to know why, and more importantly, what he would recommend in its place. Most of the folks on Fragrantica are just calling it similar to Drakkar Noir, which I own and love, but see no similarity between the two.

F Black has NOTHING to do with la nuit de l'homme, like nothing really
right?! I was quite shocked to see this as his choice of a “straight-up clone” like WTF is going on? Has he become anosmic? I own both and I never even for a second thought they were similar.
@@solokom same here, and I was so excited to find a clone of this fragrance, bc i absolutely love the scent, but as u know, the performance isn't the best
@@george4508 get the Dua clone. I got it after I finished my LNDL bottle. Very close clone to the old formulation. Meaning be stronger on the cardamom in the opening. But like 97% same and with great performance.
Guess Seductive Homme Blue is another great straight up clone albeit a tad fresher than YSL La Nuit De L'homme. Trussardi Riflesso is another great alternative with a twist. Great video by the way!
Great video as always. I had this exact same dilemma a couple of years back where I was ready to part with LNDL but wanted a suitable replacement. Here's what I came up with:
1) Armani Code Absolu - same fresh/sweet/woody vibe but more modern and better performance. Doesn't smell alike but same vibe and uses as LNDL and just as good if not better in it's own way.
2) PDM Layton - note sibling of cardamom. A great step up as it is niche, higher quality, more modern, better performance, but also has a similar vibe and use as LNDL.
3) from what I've heard recently, the new Blue Electrique flanker smells like old batch LNDL with a more modern twist. Definitely have to check it out soon

Since you mentioned your birthday, has it already been almost a year since your LIDGE episode!? Your monologue at the end is flat out incredible and I often go back to watch it. Those in the Middle East can try Al Bait Al Dimashqi's YSL La nuit clone, it's closer to the vintage formula than current la nuit and it's 20 USD. Really good.

I suggest you to consider trying"Guess Seductive Homme Blue". Very very very affordable and very good clone of Ysl La Nuit
Actually, the Guess Seductive Line are pretty descent scents 4 the price. And the smells are nice smelling too
I haven't smelt petit fracas in ages, but it used to project and project and project. Longevity was strong. A little sister to the legendary fracas, very sweet but very lovely.
As a note sibling I'd say Bottega Veneta pour Homme parfum, it's absolutely great - but test it first, because the performance on my skin is 6h tops
I have all 3 versions. Try the Extreme version. 8 hours for me

Still love the videos, but you might back off the recorder a bit, you're maxing it out pretty hard and getting distorted especially around your transitions between fragrances. 1:05 to 1:10 has some of that peaking out for an example, but there are a few other spots.
Guess Seductive Homme Blue is also a cheaper alternative to La Nuit and it's easy to find in the US. Another alternative, still quite affordable but a little harder to get is Trussardi Riflesso. Both are affordable alternatives and are in the same vein IMO.

CH men Prive is LNDL plus Whiskey/Leather. Incredibly sexy. I heard the newer bottles are weak. I bought a 2016 5 oz bottle nearly full for $40. Guy really hooked me up. This scent DNA is pretty hearty, I can't imagine it being much weaker without being a completely different scent. It's one of the only booze fragrances where the Booze is the main player(that I have smelled atleast). Usually when alcohol notes are listed it's just for label dressing.
I would say Halloween Man Shot is in the same area. I don't see how F black is close at all, but have heard many others say that too.
YSL's new La Nuit release is a good alternative. Also, PDM's Layton for a more fresh / gourmand less spicy vibe due to the heavy cardamom. X Factor maybe Mastro del Cuore Peccato Originale (ginger cardamom benzoin chai tea etc)

GEORGE, i like you quite much, but i think you're wrong, sorry. The Azzaro is a complete, utter trash and should not be recommended and Ferragamo is nowhere near La nuit. The best alternative to La nuit is TRUSSARDI RIFLESSO. Give it a try. Best regards

Humble opinion from a non expert.....i have gifted Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo because i found it duplicate or close to La Nuit de lhomme with simple Tiramisu thing as extra....so for someone who really like La Nuit and what comes near to it i think it is worth checking Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo

Trussardi Riflesso (no cardamom) and Kenzo Power (cardamom) more obvious choices. Great and very inexpensive alternatives.
