- Today we had the weirdest snow storm in Springtime ever. The snowflakes were about 2" in diameter and kept coming down for about 15-20 minutes. They were the biggest ones I've ever seen.

This happens when the temp borderlines between rain and snow. Nice
So between 2°C and -2°C?
Those where the kind of snow flakes we had in south east Texas earlier this year, first time I’ve seen snow accumulate and it was like this. A memory I’ll have forever.
Same here! I remember this like yesterday. Hoping someday it will snow like that again. Thanks.
Снег кружится , летает и тает! Снег! Снег! Рады снегу зверь и птица и ,конечно, человек!!!
They look like the Ivory Snow snowflakes from “It’s A Wonderful Life”
Absolutely beautiful 😍!!!
Thank you! 😊
@@CAPcessnadriver You’re welcome ☺️!
Beautiful!! ❄
Giant snowflakes form when the temperature hovers around the freezing mark. This partially melts the snowflakes and helps them stick together and grow to immense sizes. So cool
Thanks for the explanation!
My favorite kind of snow.
TJusnow SAME
Same.
thats awesome :) i love snow.xx
We were out once to get ice cream (yes in the winter) and it started snowing like this and it was so breathtakingly beautiful because I hadn’t experienced something like that before, just ice/sleet/hail. Thanks for sharing 🤍🩵❄️
Glad you liked it.
oh right off the bat those things are fucking huge
They were as big as large, chocolate chips cookies!
That’s the type of snow we get here in Georgia when a low pressure sucks ample moisture from the Gulf. Very big and heavy flakes, and it piles up FAST!
Cool! Get much snow in GA?
That is beautiful snow it better than hail storms any old day ❤
It was very pretty. Thanks for the comment.
When the atmosphere is super high humidity and temperature is only barely freezing you get Hugh flakes beyond the point of deposition
Interesting. Thanks for the input!

Snow is beautiful.
Yes it is. Thanks for the comment!
No problem :)
Happens often in the Netherlands. Because we are often on the border line.
We haven't had one like this since. You are lucky indeed! Have a great day!
as a new jersian spring snow happens twice a spring but I love it personally
It was pretty cool. I'd rather have snow than rain anytime. Thanks for the comment!
Liberals when a car has a Trump flag on it
In the UK we don't get fine powdery snow and commonly it is like this, it never seems to settle as we get snow maybe 10 days a year commonly in march and even beginning of april however we only get like 1-2 days a year where snow settles.. :(
We get a variety of snow here in Kentucky. Most of the time it is smaller and dry. These were chocolate chip cookie sized and very heavy. Thanks for the input from the UK! Have a great day!
Beautiful
It was a special day! Each flake was cookie sized.
Good snowfall
It looks just like hail from summer thunderstorms, but it is a bit different and almost slower.
Thanks for the comment Christy!
No problemo!
Where is this location
Finchville, Kentucky
YEP big ones!!!
I get snowflakes like that all the time and I’m not even joking. The snow rates are like 3 inches an hour whenever I get them.
They are rare here in Kentucky. Where are you at?😃
same happened here yesterday
I like those kind of flakes.
Me too! Thanks for the comment.
