I clearly rememeber the time he walked out to bat, then first ball he was hit on the head and he was back onto his feet in a second and next ball he carresed it for a beautiful cover drive, for me ladies and gentlemen that was the moment of the Ashes.
Anannyo Bhattacharya not Stokes hitting one of, if not the best knock in test history? Have a day off
@@jackjack8205 Well that was also equally great but then as Australia retained the ashes, I gave this knock an upper hand, but I wouldn't want to take anything away from Stokes.
"Have a day off?" that line was quite unnecessary though because our thoughts might not coincide and it is absolutely normal, atleast that is how it works out for me. On a lighter side though, given the Covid crisis I am having a day off everyday.
Take care and stay safe brother.

Marnus is the next big thing for Australian cricket, really love the way he bats
This guy is still rocking the Aus Ind series. Love the way he bats
Now a century
Well, now he rocked India with the world cup....even though I'm an Indian I have to say, he bats incredibly.
Archer is the villain in this web series.
Edit: I don't hate Archer and thanks for the likes.
That's because Archer is an ass
If you're a good aggressive quick you're the villain. Holding, Garner, Roberts, Croft, Thompson, Lilly, Johnson all villains to someone
Honestly, I don't think they've tried to project Archer as the villain at all. The documentary doesn't even refer to the fact that Archer didn't even check on Smith after he got him on the neck.
I think the doco did a very good job keeping that segment objective.
No, it’s a game of cricket between a bowler and a batsman both trying to get the win!
@@Ollie_1997 you are idiot.

2:00 Ben Stokes reaction...
Yes I also noticed Bairstow's smile. I'm no body language expert but to me it looks like he's also surprised Marnus was given out, after seeing the replay.. An almost sympathetic kind of smile, not a jubilant one.
@@Ruoktoday1 Who cares anyway. We didn't lose the game and were never going to win it. Losing the next test out of nowhere bothers me far more than that wrong third umpire decision. Paine bowling first at the oval also bothers me more.
@@Bernie8330 I'm also more bothered by how the Headingly test was lost but there is a common factor between that loss and this decision here - Joel Wilson who had an absolute shocker of an Ashes series. He was the third umpire here and the on field umpire who turned down a plumb LBW appeal by Nathan Lyon that would have won us the match, and the series. Yes, Payne also has to share part of the blame after wasting his challenges but i still hold Wilson more at fault.
@@Ruoktoday1 Worst thing about Wilson at Headingly is he should have known England still had a review left. Common sense said give it out and the batsman is gonna refer it no matter what so no injustice could have occurred.
2014 vs India: Michael Clarke gets injured, Steve Smith rises
2019 vs England: Steve Smith gets injured, Marnus Labuschagne rises
