We're the nerdy married couple, and in this video we officially continue our long watch through of the beloved and classic tv show "Breaking Bad." This is our FIRST TIME REACTION season 5 of the show, where we follow Walter White, and the surrounding cast of characters of Jesse Pinkman, Hank, Skyler, Walter Jr, Saul Goodman, Mike, and more!
From IMDB: In a flashforward, Walter arrives at his abandoned house to grab the vial of ricin. In the present, Hank requests all files of the Fring case and matches the handwriting in Walter's copy of `Leaves of Grass' with Gale's handwriting.

Video Title: This one got us... Breaking Bad REACTION "Blood Money" 5x9 Breakdown + Review // Kailyn + Eric React - Zábava
13:45 See how Skyler changes when she feels respected enough to be told the truth. Roughly saying It's all she begged for, I totally can imagine her being ride-or-die type, If their relationship wasn't broken from the beginning. She is very similar to Walt in terms of being respected, that's the most what have hurt her back in the day.
Agreed. And Walt insulted her intelligence with those cr..py lies, he basically said to her face I think you're d..mb enough to buy it.
If she cries for this... oh boy.
That was my thoughts exactly
It's clear that the scene got to her on a personal level and unearthed some feelings. My guess is that maybe the things you're thinking of won't mess her up this bad, cause this felt like it hit close to home.
@@DiegoDeschain Was thinking this same thing. Betrayal is common with a lot of people and it hits closer to home, versus what we're about to see in these next few episodes.
I think everyone probably thought that exact same thing hah

And if they hate Walter this much NOW, imagine...
@@DiegoDeschainyeah i think youre right but didnt want to say anything

It’s interesting seeing reactors rage at Walter, but defend Mike/Jesse 😂 they were all horrible people
The difference is Mike and Jesse are likeable
This is the most emotional reaction I've seen of the "thread lightly" scene , and I have to say it's a pretty appropriate reaction 💁♀
You two are genuinely the best reactors I've come across for this show. Absolutely love it.
a high honor, thank you tons!!
forreal they had the same reactions as me everyone else is so boring
Loved this reaction, you wholesome individuals.
The Star Trek conversation isn't there just to have a goofy comic scene; it's thematically linked to the episode. The talk about a transporter creates a duplicate of you and how there's 147 Kirks is basically talking about how every time Walter lies, he's in effect creating a new version of himself, and so at this point he's just an artifical copy of a copy of a human being. Also, I think Badger talking about his script and stopping right when Chekov screams is a sort of meta reference to the writing concept of "Chekhov's Gun."
A recurring theme is how Walt takes on mannerisms of people he has killed. A good example is Walt speaking to Lydia at the car wash, Walt is basically doing his best Gus impression.
Thank you, your reactions to this show are better than all the other reactors that I've seen..💙❤💜
The best panick attack in a tv series. They didn’t do it for show, but the situation was that there is no way that Hank should have been driving in that condition, and he has had them before. The gravity of these is 1,000 times that. He should have known not to drive.
i just wanted to say you two are such a lovely couple.
34:17 this one really got me
Still the greatest show of all time~!
Jesse had the gun because he saw it was walt, and since he heard about walt offing all of mikes guys, he believed walt was going to off him as well
wow!!
Exactly. He wasn't suicidal, he was terrified.
@@nerdymarriedcouple That's also why he said "I need you to believe me." Meaning if Jesse didn't choose to accept Walt's story, it would make him a potential threat...that might need to be dealt with.
You know a show is good asf when it gets to you.
Can’t wait to see how Walt will bend yalls emotion to still empathize with him at end
sorry I think she's made her mind up. but you never know.
@@cecillegravelle2590She will not empathize with him for sure . That will be funny sereies finale reaction
Walt’s the greatest character ever created. He still gives me chills
Imagine if Marie waked in and saw the sketch and said "that looks like Walt."
That crying was SO unexpected. Love you guys
🤍🤍🤍
I've been watching you guys on this Breaking Bad journey since probably season 3. To watch Kailyn cry the way she did at the end of the episode was truly heart breaking, those were true tears. You made me cry. Bravo, great reaction video.
the Tread lightly line is so profound., yet not really noticed due to Walt bashing.. lol
Your reactions are so funny after the punch 🤣🤣🤣
Oh I didn't see the crying, so many emotions between the laughter and the crying, incredible
Walt isn't a total monster.. He still has some humanity.....but that is what makes his fall so heartbreaking. A series of understandable, yet misguided decisions.
Nope. 100% monster.
@@innercircle341 no he isnt. Family still is everything for him. He proves it in the next episodes.
@@innercircle341 it's tough for some to see... especially his victims
@@innercircle341maybe not a hundred, only 99.1%
I like how some people hate Walt so much , but love for example Mike , who is 100000% is a criminal, who kills much more . But just because he never lies, people love him more.
You noticed Walt laying the towel before he vomited just as Gus did. He also cuts the crust out of his sandwich just as Crazy8 used to do it. So basically he is taking up the small habits of the people he has killed. Love your reactions❤
He also started drinking his alcohol on the rocks like Mike did (or vice versa can’t remember) and also started using children like Gus did. Though he started that just before he killed Gus, used it to help get Jesse on his side obviously to kill him. But still.
And also quotes people he has killed such as Mike. Mike told walt "you need to learn to take yes for an answer" and walt told Lydia the same thing. Walt also says another Mike quote in the finale.
The "idk who you are.....I don't even know who I'm talkin to" line got me too. That is a HURT man. Shattered. He was angry but more hurt than anything. I feel so bad for Hank. Truly a good man trying to do his best.
Dean Norris is king
Directed by Bryan Cranston!
Aaron Paul
Walt betrayed Hank in general but don't forget that he was also his guardian angel while in the game. Heisenberg sacrificed himself many times to save his brother in law from troubles. He hired Jessie to drop charges, paid Hank's medical bills and killed Gus who was a threat.
she will never admit that Heisenberg is worthy.
Surely, they will be treating certain person's betrayal, of becoming a literal rat the same way they do here, won't they? Who am I kidding of course they won't. I can already picture them hollering when he calls him a coward in that scene.
I bet they will again curse & scream at Walt when todd whacks Andrea, when jack whacks Hank, when Jesse leaves the pickup betrays Walt , a moment which he regrets later, when Walt will talk to skylar in phone to get her off the hook. Whatever happens , Walt gets cursed by haters still he goes out like a badass ❤@@Frugustin
All these troubles were caused by Walt
@@spg14813 not justifying, there were good choices of other characters too, like Hank should have brought DEA to arrest Walt , not being cocky and underestimating Walt. Skylar should have signed the divorce pages. Many many more. Not everything is caused by Walt. Its a domino effect. Walt was begging to let go off his 80 mil to save Hank. Don't forget that. He got what he deserved but others could saved their a.. by not dealing with Walt at all.
What an episode. We waited almost a year and this delivered 110%. A lesser show (cough Dexter cough cough) would've dragged that out for at least a season with a cat and mouse story. Not this show. It is so true to its characters. They don't ever do nonsensical things to serve the plot. What writing!
Hank/walt in the garage is my fav scene in the whole series. Dean norris is amazing. There are a lot of great reactions to this ep on CZcams already but you two during that final scene might top them all. Amazing. I also appreciate that your hate for Walt doesn’t take away your ability to enjoy the show overall.
that scene was so memorable 😭
I wanted to comment and when I read this one I was like, yes, yes, and yes. Best ever. You guys are awesome, and make me want to check out your other content!
An incredible scene. My favorite is yet to come. It's in Granite State.
They already watched episode 12 ? I want to see their reaction to one scene with Hank and Jesse , where Hank shows his bad side . Maybe this will show to them , that this show is not black and white, and that Hank is not hero either and has bad sides .
The next 4 episodes are always on Patreon. So now that episode 9 is on CZcams, episodes 10-13 are already on Patreon for patrons to watch
And maybe u need to shut t f up and delete your spoiler comment
It’s not black and white forsure but there’s levels . What Walt did and what Hank did aren’t even close to equivalent . Hank is ultimately the mostly good guy and Walt is the mostly bad guy.
I'm on Walt's side.
I cried with you while I have seen this scene 250 times... We love you so much... We hope you'll watch Better Call Saul because if you're mourning Mike, you'll get PLENTY of Mike in it. Better Call Saul is as much an origin story about Saul than about Mike.
I wanted to show you this video, a table read for this episode, with an Emmy-worthy rehearsal of the scene between Walt and Jesse about Mike's death... Aaron Paul is OUTSTANDING and even Anna Gunn (Skylar) can't keep from shedding a tear and being emotional : czcams.com/video/tj6ot2HVEmQ/video.html
In the end, you have the table read with the Hank vs Walt scene... Well, Dean Norris kept everything for the shooting of the episode x)
Remeber the 3rd episode? when he cried when he killed the first time? long way eh...?
After laughter comes tears
Its actually hilarious to see the expressions on their faces because they of how they think or hope this will end. Oh I can't wait 😈😈
Technically, Walt wasnt lying when he said hes a dying man who runs a car wash, says thats all that he is
Since he retired from his meth empire, and wouldnt go back due to Lydia's begging, but yes, Walts past would come to haunt him
Aw, I love how you connected so deeply with the heartbreak Hank was feeling in that final scene. He's not just angry - he's also devastated that the brother-in-law he's grown so close to, that he's cared about like family, could've lied and manipulated him SO much.
Yeah, like everything Walter did for Hank was all fake. And none of it was genuine. That's probably what Hank was thinking
Like everyone has else has said, you guys get it. As a fan of reactions I watch to experience it again like it’s the first time. And we want the reactors to genuinely appreciate the show. You guys nailed it and am happy you guys are appreciating it, with all the joy, pain, frustration, satisfaction. Great reaction and great show.

I never understood why Hank didn’t just rip out the page or take a picture of the page. Why did he take the entire book?
Marie: You are the Devil
She has no idea..
Such good writing
As much as I'm not a fan of Walt, I can't stand Hank even more. It's always weird to see people watch this show who are on Hank's side.
Hank’s a guy bad too. Of u look at it honestly he’s a totally corrupt cop and breaks bot bends every rule
Hank is not a corrupt cop
I'm new to your reaction channel but I love it already. Your reactions are so authentic and perceptive. I'm with you in all the emotional ways of hating Walt and cheering Hank! Thanks for the video!
Your outrage in the scene with Jesse was so heart warming and your reactions in that scene and the last scene are worth a nomination for best reactions!!

You should watch the table read of Jesse and Walt talking on Jesse's couch about Mike Aaron Paul does so good he made Anna Gunn (Skyler) cry he is so real
This is what happens when you don't take a shit, panic attack.
That last scene brought emotions similar to Tyrion Lannister's trial speech!

Walt>Hank
the first big confrontation between Mike and Walt--god, I love your reaction to this episode!!!!! BTW Dean Norris is so underrated as an actor, --I have always been "team Hank" !!!
It's so nice seeing the parallels of Fring using his chicken restaurant as a cover for his operations like Walt uses the car wash for his cover- Walt talking to Lydia at the register- trying to play it off like he doesn't know who she is reminds me so much of how Gus would be when Walt would visit him at Los Pollos. They even pay homage to the crystal ship and the episode Mandala when Walt tried to convince Gus to work with them with Lydia's line: "Get the ship back on course- we'll make it worth your while". Walt places a neatly folded towel under his knees in front of the toilet just how Gus would. The show also points in this direction when Mike tells Walt: "Just because you shot Jesse James, don't make you Jesse James". Jesse James was a famous train robber. Two episodes later we find out Walt and Jesse's train heist plan is successful. Mike was wrong about Walt, people like to give Mike too much credit because he's a more appealing character to most even though he's a criminal too. Walt had to take out Gus for his and his family's safety. What- was Walt supposed to just roll over? There were no pitchforks out when Walt had to kill Krazy-8...
Mike trying justify himself with " Im killing only people in criminal life" Walt mostly doing the same, he actually never kiled not a criminal" Mike is killed much more people than Walt also, but people love him , and he is good guy for some reason
31:36 what is that face 🤡🤡🤡
cant wait for ozymandias
Such an incredible reaction to a timeless episode! But I have to say...Team Walt foreva! Teehee
31:10 - MY FAVORITE part of the WHOLE SERIES is when he shuts that Garage Door 😅😅 GET EM HANK!!! Kailyn, you're VISCERAL reaction to this is also my FAV part of the series reaction so far 😅
good god we get it you dont like walter, you dont have to repeat it 47 times in a span of 5 fuckin seconds holy shit
Dont effin watch then. There are plenty of Walter fan boy channels. Twuntttt
@@innercircle341They are stupid too. You dont need to be fanboy or hater. Fanboying over Walter is stupid, hating on Walker, while liking other criminals in this show is stupid too.
@@user-df8lp9zq8swhat I don’t get is how many people despise Walt but get so defensive over the other criminals
It's a reaction channel, why complain about them reacting?
@@DesertDwightThey only got defenaive over Mike and Jesse, one of them is legitimately remorseful and neither of them are as callous or slimy as Walt. His character is why even other criminals on the show found him insufferable.
Jesse gets a paper route.
Yeah, Walt manipulates Jesse, lies about Mike, then the situation with Hank, but what did you guys expect? He doesn't do that just for the sake of manipulation. Did you expect him to be like "yeah, I killed Mike, but it's fine Jesse" or whatever?
Or what do you expect with Hank? Him being like" oh yeah Hank, I'll bring Skyler and kids, put me in the jail, it's fine" ??? Ofc he tried to flip the script.
Is Walt good? No. **I'm not justifying his overall actions** But it's easy to judge from the side as a viewer with all the morality, isn't it? 😉 So yeah, in those moments in this episode he didn't have much choice than to resort to manipulation. From his perspective.
Again, not justifying him. But it's almost funny how some characters - criminals and murderers - get almost a free pass on this show no matter what they do, but Walt's always the worst 😅 Gus gets a free pass despite being a drug lord, killer, manipulator. I guess he's cooler tho. Mike? Basically almost the same. Saul? Works for Walt, wanted piece of dirty blood money, he knew what was happening. But hey, I guess he's cooler and funnier than Walt, so it's all fine 😅.
we'll address this in future episodes.
@@nerdymarriedcoupleWalt isnt a good person or something, HE is a manipulator, He is a murderer( but killed only criminals by the way) , you can question his actions always , but hating only on him is so stupid. He begged Saul to help Hank in season 4 finale ,he cares about him , he literally killed two Gus guys with a car just two save Jesse( no other reasons) . He put himself in danger, his family in danger , and Gus starded hate for Walter only after Walter risked everything to save Jesse . So all Walt problems with Gus were because of Jesse . He doesnt want to lose him, thats why he is lying and manipulates him in this moments , even if its bad. Of cource Jesse is gonna hate Walt if he will find out about everything, because he is emotional and his morals are better, and he is gonna forget how Walt saved him . And do something for him. This show is not black and white , and never was .
The producers talk about it like it was one season with an extended break... But it was seen by most as two 8 episode seasons.
The final 8 episodes are the best of the series since the last three episodes of season 3 .
Walt is such a badass, I don't get why you hate him so much. He's a survivor, he did all the things he did to survive. And now he's rich. His only problem is that unfortunately he has cancer and he will die anyway, so yeah, he did all this for nothing in the end, that's the tragedy to me. And don't spit on money like Jesse does, money is happiness.
The show is not for you. You clearly don’t get it and should probably stick to something more your speed. May I suggest power rangers?
@@Bkoska07 triggered much?😂
@@steves9955 ok now this is epic
I like your review of this show overall, however, I do think you guys come off a bit sanctimonious when it comes to Walt. We tend to look at morality through the lens of black and white. And what this show does, better than any show I've seen, is highlight that the world can be more grey than anything. And the deciding factor into someone going either way is circumstance.
Now, in the last video you wanted to know why people were still Team Walt. Granted, I have the benefit of seeing the show in its entirety, so I know how it ends. I know Walt's complete story arc. From my point of view, you have a man who's underachieved his whole life. And facing death with a cancer diagnosis, he's looking back at it wondering what he's leaving behind. In terms of both legacy and inheritance. I honestly believe his initial intentions were pure in regards to taking care of his family. Everyone talks about what they will and won't do until they're faced with adversity. Just trying to fight the cancer would've bankrupted the family. So I get him wanting to make a fast buck cooking meth. Now, he did get an out when Gretchen and Elliott offered to pay. But even then, a part of me understands not feeling like a charity case. None of this justifies selling drugs, but it does make me less righteously indignant about it.
I'm not as dogmatic in my judgment towards him. Especially when you consider that everyone on that show started off horribly. Marie would be serving time in jail for stealing if Hank weren't her husband and was constantly bailing her out. Jessie killed people. He even went to a meeting for recovering addicts to sell drugs to the people there. But he had a good heart though right? Lol. Skylar was mad at Walt for selling drugs as if she wasn't fucking her boss who she knew was cooking the books at his company. We talk about morality as if it's black or white. And many times it can be. But it's those grey areas that require more nuance than just "he's bad and he's good".
Now Walt did inevitably turn into a monster. But he didn't completely lose his soul. Once again, you haven't finished the series so.... I'll just say this, growing up in the environments I've grown up in, I've seen good people go bad. I grew up on Detroit's east side, I've seen the choices people make. It's hard being an angel when you're dealing with hell. I have friends who sold drugs, not because they wanted to, but because you don't see any other options to feed yourself or your family, you get desperate and resort to what's available. Walt got involved in a corrupt world that he was I'll equipped for at first. It was by sheer luck and quick wit that he was able to survive all that he did. Eventually that will corrupt you. You just saw that he was willing to leave the world behind, it's just that at that same moment Hank figured out who he was.
I'm not saying that Walt didn't deserve consequences, or that he deserves a pass. I'm just saying his story is a bit more nuanced than just "bad guy cooks meth". He was a good guy who got desperate in the face of death, resorted to extreme measures to take care of his family, and while in that world the corruption brought out the worst in him. And seeing that he never fulfilled any of potential before, he relished the opportunity to be great at something. Even if it was a drug empire. But, eventually, he regained his soul to some degree. To me, it's an interesting case study more so than a cautionary tale. I'm team Walt not because I align with all of his decisions, but because I can relate to the character. I can understand the "why" while not agreeing with the "what". He's one of the most interesting characters in television history because he goes through this metamorphosis over the course of 5 seasons. And in the end, to me, he redeemed himself.
You lost them in the first sentence. Sorry, their minds are made up.
@cindycrewsbeach72 probably. But I used to look at the world the same way. I said I would never do certain things only to flirt with and entertain those things when I found myself in a situation. I used to think people who committed suicide were simply selfish. It wasn't until I hit a low point going through a divorce and losing my mother in the same year where I finally understood that you can find yourself so low and depressed that you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. It made me more empathetic to other people's circumstances as opposed to being judgmental. I get their disdain for Walt and his actions. But it does come off slightly sanctimonious. Especially when you juxtapose their assessment of Walt with their assessment of everyone else on the show. It doesn't seem as pious. But if we're looking at the issue if morality in such stark black and white, then no one on the show gets a pass.
I agree with everything , except redeemed himself. It was not redemtion at all
This is maybe the first time I've heard or discussed in my head about Hank's poop after the beginning scene XD
You guys are amazing!
hahaha 😂 thanks a ton! cheers
Vince and the writers room decided they needed 16 episodes to wrap up the show, but they decided to film it as 2 eight episode seasons one year after the next
33:18 - Well "The devil is in the detail" as they say because at this precise moment Walt is out of the Meth business. So strictly speaking that wasn't a lie he just told.

@@rwlewko hi yes! bovine (cow) or goat colostrum has some great health benefits in humans! there's some pretty cool research being done on it. lots of immune benefits, high vitamin/mineral content, etc. would definitely recommend looking it up! equip and armra are two popular brands that sell it in powdered form.
Jesse was scared of Walt he thought that because he was out and Walt was mad and didn't want to give him his money and he found out, or figured it out that Walt offed Mike's guys and that he felt he had to kill Mike too because Mike would kill him knowing that, which was not the reason why Walt even killed Mike but that's what Jesse thinks so he thinks that he is a loose end now and that Walt would kill him too he doesn't trust him anymore that's why he got the gun for protection. He doesn't believe he still cares about him but he still does. But now that he gave Jesse his money he doesn't want him knowing all the people who died along the way and the last being Mike who he also cared about like he did Walt it's like blood money off of a friend and then the innocent kid.
I feel for you Kailyn. Dean Norris and Bryan Cranston really turned the screw with that scene. Hope you guys make it through the rest in one piece. That Garage scene, hell the whole episode was just a taster of what's to come with the emotional whiplash.

Walter takes in the traits of people he's killed. He cuts the crust off his sandwiches *crazy8, Walt now drinks his scotch neat instead of on the rocks like he used to *Mike, and the towel thing with Gus

thank YOU!
Love the reactions!!! Do you think you guys will do Peaky Blinders? Cheers!
The best reaction ❤
Kailyn, your last comment I'm sure was authentically what you were/are feeling. I think what you haven't said is that there is no forgiveness for Walt until he is willing to stop lying, tell the truth, ask forgiveness and face the consequences by willingly give himself up to the law for the crimes he's committed. Even then I have no idea how he would repair the damage he's done to his family and everyone he's harmed.
This series raises many questions about morality. One question I wrestle with is whether I support capital punishment. In cases where a murder is not premeditated, IE. a crime in the heat of passion, I am inclined to not want capital punishment. However, in the case of premeditated murder, in cases of serial murder or cases where suffering was intentionally inflicted leading to death I support that form of punishment. Walt is one of these.
Oh yes, since Walt killed so many good people, right ?😂 ( Zero) He killed only criminals . Even Gale was a criminal
Best show ever
I’ve never caught that part where they are both wearing beige 😂😅 ur absolutely 1000% right they are just like the people at the party 🤯
You see the Hot Dog place again Better Call Saul.
And why did you say that?
Walt was so arrogant to confront Hank, he should've just left the tracker on his car, he was out of the meth business
But just in this episode he contacted Jesse and Saul, and Lydia visited him. The tracker and any surveillance that looks at Walt closely enough would have stitched some threads together sooner or later unless Walt hard severed his contacts with his "old life".
@@websnarf Then just destroy the tracker. He chose the worst option
Great point. Hank doesn't have anywhere near the smoking gun he would need to take down Walt. When Gus knew he was being tracked, he just played dumb and kept living his "innocent" life. If Walt had done the same thing, he probably would've been smart enough to find a way to get all the money to his kids without incriminating himself. His ego just couldn't handle the idea of knowing what's going on and not letting it be known that he knows what's going on.
@@jflinn7401 hank would’ve gotten him eventually I think
@@woahblackbettybamalam But it's not *about* the tracker. It's about what the tracker *represents* . Hank is covertly surveilling Walter -- upon learning this, Walter thought his best course of action was to confront Hank, tell him about his relapsed cancer, and impress upon him how this would destroy their family. Rather than just wait around for Hank to build a case against him.
everybody SAYING in the comments : these are the greatest reactors ??¿ not too sure about that. they are great, but I have seen alot of others that are as good, or if not better. the fact that K continues to cut down Walt non stop is annoying. but that's her reaction.. going EEEWWW.. every 5 seconds is CRINGE. as she used to call him .
They will not like finale for sure😂
too bad. because it's the best show ever. cinematography, acting directing. ect...
I'm just watching because I like watching Breakin Bad reactions so I haven't watched other things they did, but the way acted throughout their reactions comes as very disingenuous. The constant long and wide open months or hands on their face like the generic CZcams "shocked" thumbnails look super forced and fake, like they pretend to be shocked, even in moments that aren't really shocking.
The other thing I find super sus is how throughout the show, somehow they correctly guess 9 out 10 times what's going to happen even before it's hinted or revealed it's going in that direction.
