Audience: "It CAN'T get any crazier!"
Walt: "Hold my blue crystal."
"Walt just turned into the joker"--LMFAO!!!!!
The visual of walt lying in the basement curled up, cobwebs and the slats of the vent looking like bars, the small pile of cash the only thing keeping him company, its like hes already in his grave, a personal hell all alone. One of my favorite shots in TV.
Agree. One he created
No show does tension/panic scenes better than BB. The sound design at the end... that screeching noise... the whole scene is pure, concentrated unnerving anxiety. The dynamic is so remarkable of all the characters clashing at once and Skyler- going from playing peacekeeper for Walt to Marie on the phone. She's like a punching bag getting hit with all of it at once. Walt's laugh makes total sense with the situation he's in. High school chemistry teacher gets cancer, cooks meth then his wife uses the money he made from it and gives it to the man she had an affair with? Many times throughout the show the characters are boxed in in shots by either a door frame or window frame etc. divided by beams or trapped in picture frames. The symbolism in that final shot of Walt laying in the dirt underground- boxed in by the door to the crawl space that he built himself, as if it's saying he’s dug his own grave and he's a dead man walking.
I couldn’t tell you how frightened and breathless I was during the final scene the first time I watched it. The unreal acting performances, the shots, and that horrifically eerie pulsing music in the background. It was one hell of an experience.
it was WILD
This is legit the best reaction to Crawl Space I've personally seen omg
wow such a high honor 😅 thanks a ton, we appreciate you so much!
I'll second that without hesitation.
Serious, both mouths were open the entire final scene
it really is 😅
I know, right? I watched many times!
31:58 this is the premium react content right here, from the continuously more layered emotions, the surprise, the tension, and then the moment after the episode ends where both try to deal with the overflow of emotions in their own way, up to an including a fidget spinner. It's magical to watch honestly. Also the good lighting and developed film analysis doesn't hurt either.
you're so sweet with your kinds comments ✨ thanks so much for watching, as always
Yeah, that final scene in this episode is easily one of the best moments in the entire BB universe (BB, BCS and El Camino). The insanity of it all, the visual storytelling, the sound design, everything, it's an absolute masterclass.
I don't know what's better your reaction to the crawlspace scene or to Chekov's rug. Takes me back to watching this for the first time. Such a crazy ride 😅
The chaos on the final scene with the emotional rollercoaster Walt goes through and the phone ringing and the music. HOLYYY
Yup...best reaction I've seen for this episode for sure and I've seen a lot by now lol. You two are not ready for future episodes lol.
oh noooo 😅😅😅
Season 5 is gonna scar them😂
32:43 I love the way Skyler slowly backs out of the shot here 😂
I think Walt is scared Jesse is among those dead bodies in Mexico when Hank told him a bunch of dead bodies cuz something went down with the Cartel he has no idea what happened down there but he can only worry
That was the best reaction ever to this episode! :D From Ted's "trip" to Gus firing him, to the very end, that was hilarious. You guys remains among the very best!
haha thank you so much! cheers friend 😊
One of the best reaction to this episode I've seen lol Things bout to get crazy
Best reaction to "crawl space" that I have ever seen.
haha wow, thanks so much 😭 insanity
The most amazing/intense ending to an episode I’ve ever seen personally.
so intense 🤯🤯
"I need my fidget spinner!" 🤣
😂😂
This reaction was so freaking good holy moly you guys are the best
haha thanks so much! we had a great time 🤯
@@nerdymarriedcouple really looking forward to your reaction to season 5 🔥
Your faces are pulled straight out of an emoji library during the final scene. And I love it 💀🤣
I remember having to pause this on live tv from laughing so hard when Ted tripped. It still gets me.
never seen a reaction where they are so hung up on ted dying. lol
For the young ones out there, the night this aired was one of the true beginnings of "Peak TV". A ending sequence like this was one of the big reasons why A-listers and serious actors started really turning to TV to explore very complex characters and choices throughout the 2010s.
Also it was insane to think that Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Veep, The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Girls, and Game of Thrones were all airing on Sunday nights by 2013.
Every time Eric asks about what happened to Ted, it makes me laugh harder..😅🤣
Walt crawled in the crawl space, and Heisenberg came out
As all breaking fans say, this is THE Moment Walt becomes Heisenberg
it's an incredible moment 🙌
Y'all's reaction in the end is priceless I can't wait for you to see what happens in the next episode
was waiting for this one. I love these last two seasons too much
I think this ending might indeed be my favourite moment out of the show and I had forgotten about it. I was shaking and laughing as I was watching. Felt very much like Eric. There could be also another one down the line that I could have also forgotten.
You guys!!! 😂 just wait…this is nothing compared to season 5. THE perfect season of the whole show. I can’t wait to see your reactions to come. Lol
Despite how tight this show's writing seems, it turns out there ARE just a few references & character mentions on this show that are never really followed up on, ...until they later turn out to be key plot points & pivotal characters on Better Call Saul.
Oh, and one really cool editing moment in this reaction at 26:34: The moment in the dessert when Gus rips the hood off of Walt's head, to show Walt being momentarily blinded by the bright sunshine the show has the screen go to pure white, but you don't actually show that moment of footage in your reaction, instead we just see your faces suddenly lit up by your monitor turning into a solid bright white light just offscreen. Really cool effect, even if it may have been completely accidental.
Also, that shadow sweeping across the desert floor was pure happenstance, but the film crew happily accepted it and left it in.
Dudes, I loveeee your reactions to this show so much, genuinely get so excited every time you post✨ I’ve watched this episode probably like 10 times at this point, but your reaction to that ending had my heart racing like it was the first time ALL OVER again!! Thats really something man🔥
so amazing haha. we love that you love are reactions! thanks so much for watching 😊
Bryan Cranston's performance in the crawl space scene left me completely stunned, frightened and in awe the first time I saw it. There aren't enough words in the english dictionary that could adequately describe the level of astonishing acting in that scene. It's so good it's scary 😯
"did Ted just.... die?"
"ya know it was really unclear"
perfect reference
"Ted died, right?!" 😂
this is the first video im ever seeing from you guys. just discovered you. your reaction was the best. im gonna have to watch your bb from the beginning. i already love you two 😁
You guys are SO great!!! This is why I watch reaction videos! Being able to relive these feelings vicariously through another person's first viewing is just magical. Thank you!!
Right? I'm addicted to BB reactions as long as the reactors are good. These guys are pretty good, even though Eric is very annoying at times. But you nailed it by saying reliving it again thru others is magical
@@suzannesmith4882 why do you find eric annoying? /curious
@@TacoCat17 omg....seriously? He hasnt annoyed you even a little? He talks thru important scenes about stuff that doesnt even matter one bit! The way he leans way over to look at kayleigh sometimes, especially if shes getting emotional about a scene. And he was obsessed with the ted scene! He must've said a million times "is ted dead???" I actually wanted a commenter to spoil it for him by saying "no! Now shut up!" And so many other quirks he has. His overall reactions to stuff is pretty cool but hes just so damn annoying.
Gus: Now the Salamanca name dies with you.
Hector's murdered family: Tuco, Marco and Lionel (the twins), Joaquin...... Paca Paca Paca Paca En Mi Caballo (for a those who know).
Now those are some thumbnail-worthy expressions!
There’s lots of great villainous laughs out there, but for me, only a few have been as unsettling as Walter completely breaking down in this episode.
That’s not even the scariest part, it wasn’t even a laugh of sadism or triumph. It was a genuine breakdown of a man, evil or not, about to potentially lose his family.
There’s also another thing, but I won’t say what just yet.
There’s lots of great moments in this episode, but honestly, something I only just remembered recently was the simultaneous conversations between Walter and Tyrus, and Jesse and Walt!
Even in this episode, Walt did say to Tyrus that if Jesse was gone, like killed, Walt was through with Gus. Just as Walt said in the Season 4 premiere: “You kill me, you have nothing. You kill Jesse, you DON’T have me.”
While simultaneously, Jesse says something similar that Walt did to Gus: “If you hurt Mr. White, you and I are going to have a problem.” Even after all that Walt put him through, Jesse still has this loyalty to Walt, because Walt, despite how Walt often treats him, has looked out for him more than even his own parents did. Walt did save Jesse from the two cocksuckers who enslaved, weaponized, and even murdered a child, and Walt did tell Gus in front of Jesse that if Gus killed Jesse, Walt’s done with Gus.
Whilst simultaneously, despite Walt’s inexcusably extreme outburst in the bug episode, Walt didn’t actually want that to happen to Jesse. It’s what his whole breakdown in the Salud episode was about. He even said to Tyrus in this episode that if Pinkman (Jesse) wasn’t coming back, neither would Walt.
I like how both scenes in the episode happen fairly close to each other, showing that despite their toxic relationship, their mentalities and worries for each other are intertwined, almost as if they are in synch. It’s a detail that I honestly hadn’t noticed myself until recently.
Walt is such a horrible person that it was finally released
I've watched a lot of reaction videos. I've never seen someone need a fidget spinner before. That was so funny!!! :)
Ted tripping there is both hilarious and scary. That could so easily happen like falling down the stairs.
The crawlspace is my favorite moment of the show. There's one other scene this season that comes close. Next season has my favorite emotional moments, but when we're talking sheer tension and the power of performance, it's the last few episodes of this season for me.
1:30 I also think Jesse is in some ways the son Walter didn't have. Though Walt obviously cares about Walt Jr. you can also sense his disappointment, both when he teaches him to drive and when he gives him a drink (and uses him to try and assert his masculinity so embarrassingly). It's not just about what Jesse let's him be. He did genuinely save Jesse from the drug den after Jane's death. With Tuco and Gus similarly, he had plenty of chances to cut Jesse loose, but he always chose to save and protect him, even against his own interests.
You guys faces! Best reaction ever!!!
The last 10-15 minutes of this episode from the moment Gus says “I will kill your infant daughter” till the end remains to this day one of the most intense things I’ve ever seen so I always enjoy seeing people react to it. I love that Kailyn couldn’t stop laughing just like Walt and Eric couldn’t stop asking about Ted 😂
That laugh when Walt becomes hysterical from the stress.
“And travellers, now, within that valley,
Through the red-litten windows see
Vast forms that move fantastically
To a discordant melody;
While, like a ghastly rapid river,
Through the pale door
A hideous throng rush out forever,
And laugh-but smile no more”-. - Edgar Allan Poe.
One thing that's not always considered in regards to Walt and Jesse's father-son relationship is the fact that Walter's relation with his biological son, Walter Jr, was never great or what he had always envisioned. In the first season, it's obvious that Hank is more of a father figure to Walt Jr and in the flashback with pregnant Skyler, we hear that Walter originally wanted three kids. We can only assume that due to Walt Jr being born with cerebral palsy, their life became more complicated than what Walter had in mind, which probably led to him settling for a stable high school teaching job instead of being more ambitious.
Even though Walter clearly loves Walter Jr, with Jesse it's like he's raising the son he never had.
This reaction was pure gold
thanks friend! all the best 🙌
You two had a spectacular reaction to this episode. Loved it.
We're about to find out what happens when you corner a man like Walter. In other words: Now that Walt is at his lowest, where does he go? Will it bring out the best in him? Or the worst?
Since you guys are already some episodes ahead you already know by now - but isn't it unbelievable, that this episode is just the overture for an even crazier and more intense season finale?
it just... gets... crazier... 🫠
Skylar went from IFT (I F....d Ted) to IGTT (I Gave it To Ted), meaning just about all of the money Walt they have. Also Gus trying to kill him & Hank, and maybe Skylar & the kids.
That, along with everything else that has happened has to make Walter feel like he has finally hit rock bottom and losing everything (including his sanity) and it is OVER for him.
god i love the joker moment. Walt having a breakdown while the family goes into panic mode around him. small side note, i was rewatching an old favorite show of mine called Supernatural (huge show i know) and Ted showed up in the first season. i rolled my eyes and had to bear with it. i feel bad for the actor now because i cant see him as anyone but Ted lol.
One of the reasons Walt is laughing may be because he sees the dark humour in the situation.
He spent most of the series with too much money to be able to do anything with it.
Now that he actually can, and in fact needs to, he doesn't have it anymore.
Oh now Ted has morals lol
small thing that might have been missed. walt said Gus wont kill him because Jesse wont let him. Gus responded "for now". Walts time was up at some point, as soon as Jesse didnt care anymore Gus was gonna kill him and tie up a loose end. Walt 100% went after gus to protect hank but he was still in danger as well.
That’s only Gus’s word though. Even after this episode, Jesse still vouched for Walt, even telling Gus over the phone that if something final happens to Walt, Jesse and Gus would have a serious problem. Once Gus said that there’d be an appropriate measure/response, he hung up as Jesse was asking what Gus meant by that. That only made Jesse even more concerned/suspicious.
It more or less lead Jesse to Saul, who told Jesse about Gus’s threat towards Walt’s family, which left Jesse horrified.
If anything, it was only a matter of time before Jesse stood against Gus again to help Walt.
Best reaction ever! I got tears in my eyes just from all the tension
34:18 "Not much is happening". Can't wait for the last scene of the season...
haha thanks a ton for watching 😊
This is the death of Walter White.
And the true birth of Heisenberg.
When all your bad decisions were so dumb that it made turning into the Joker a good decision lol
I think I just caught something new. I think Walt rested his arm on the bin when weighing it in front of Tyrus to explain the weights that were off when Jesse was skimming. I never caught that and this is technically my 3rd time through the show!
You guys joker laughing simultaneously with Walt is so funny omg😂
When Beneke trips and crashes, he knocks over a bowl of oranges onto the floor. I'm pretty sure that's an homage to the Godfather movies, where every time there's a major death, oranges are seen nearby.
*Note to Self:* Never get on Gus Fring's bad side.
I know you guys are ahead, so you already know this. But with this show, IT JUST GETS BETTER. Can't wait to see the your reactions to the rest. Then El Camino and BCS. So good.
Your faces were just as entertaining as the scene itself!
All the best from the Netherlands!
Walter never saw it coming. He never thought Gus would turn Jesse. The shock of that plus the threats from Gus drove him temporarily bonkers
It's a doozey, so hang on to your hats!
This was recommended, checked your page to see if you had a playlist for the series. Not only do you have one you have one for each season. Subscribed
Btw congratulations to both of you.. wishing you happy and healthy months ahead 🎉❤
This is the appropriate reaction to the best 10 minutes of tv ever made
After seeing u break out the spinner I’m glad I’m already subscribed 😂
15:05 -15:08 yeah, just them definitely just them, there's not another cousin who cook tacos with epazote and sings "taca taca taca taca en mi caballo"
“Walt, YOU drove him into traffic to keep him from that laundry” 😂
Lol Bryan Cranston has the best Joker laugh in tv history. That laugh was legit
never knew when someone was threatened to be killed and have their whole family murdered or something equally as terrible it warranted a burst of comedic laughter every time.
I LOVED your reaction. Crawl Space was my favorite episode of Breaking Bad.
i still remember the reaction i had a decade ago to the ending of this episode
heart beating like crazy, similar reaction, the nervous laughing, just completely fucking baffled at how intense and brilliant it was
SO good
Remember back in the good old days to season 1 when we kept telling ya'll to buckle up and you were both doubtful...how you feel now?!😂 Much ❤
The doctor plays a Russian in “Barry,” which is very nearly (if not actually) as good as BB.
I know everybody is already saying it, but this might be one of the best reaction to this episode, and I've seen a lot of them lol
My favorite episode of BB.
A masterpiece.
He pulled a deangelo vickers 😂
Gus had some rational ambitions for an irrational goal: vengeance.
LMAO the fidget spinner
32:16 same respond😮😮😮😮
Actually no he doesnt have to pay the IRS
I just platinumed Elden Ring the other day, and I've been trying to decide on a new game to start. I think you guys just made me decide that I'm starting Outer Wilds. It's been in my library for over a year, lol.
highly recommend!! definitely an experience. our playthrough is on our channel if you want a little taste of it. but highly warn you against spoilers 🫣
@@nerdymarriedcouple Yeah I gotta avoid it until I've finished. I hate spoilers of any kind when I watch or play something.
Yeah, Ted in an insufferable mistake of a human being, but that caroet scene is stilm rough to watch 😳
If you've never watched Breaking Bad before and only watched these reactions you would def assume that BB is a Comedy
This is also the origin story of Skysenberg
Please watch Ozark next. It's a similar theme and is amazing.
Talk about not putting your hands out to catch yourself lol
The really sad thing is that you will finish Breaking Bad. Then you will realize that you just watched the best television show that's even been made. You will then get a bit bummed. Then, you'll watch the Breaking Bad movie and the Better Call Saul show to recapture some of that magic.
So true, I wish I had the mind wipe device from men in black and use it to forget the show so I can watch it for the first time again😅
@@steves9955 Same. This is why I enjoy watching other people watching Breaking Bad and some other shows and movies. I get to experience it fresh through their eyes.
We know Ted's not dead because of the spilled oranges. Keep up. :-)
When it rains it pours in Breaking Bad.
Ted tripping is so goddamn funny
Seen BB countless times and I still can't wrap my head around how Ted is literally this stupid. You can't find a dumber character in fiction anywhere.
This ain't 1 of the greatest ever... this is literally the greatest show ever made. Greatest anything ever put on a screen in my opinion. It doesn't slow down from here. Season 5 is actually more epic if that's believable
I love this show so so so much 🥹❤️
it's great!
