tried out my stingray this past weekend @ about 8-9ft off the ground, i hate hammocks but i really liked it to my surprise!! your wife/girlfriend? is just the sweetest plz be the nicest to her! ^u^
I've got one that's supposed to deliver in the next couple days. Just checking it out. Great video. I'm a solo backpack hammock camper. After the heart attack, 4 years back,I haven't been going as far into the brush. I may as well give up the solo part too. I cant wait to try mine out. 2 years since this vid was made. Do ya still like it?
Gday mate. Did u get the solo tree tent? I love mine. Don’t use it as much now as I use all different other tents. But they are so much fun. Off the ground, feels like a water bed
Old time campers know you never ever camp under a tree. Trees have a bad habit of shedding limbs, some of which can kill you. And also, trees are lightning magnets.
I agree. Never camp under a tree or near a river bank! But the fun factor is there with this tent! I bought for the review and used it a couple of times. I noticed a lot of rock climbers love this type of tent, single person of course
Have you tried using this in the rain yet? I recently returned from using this tent in the PNW and it rained pretty heavily, causing my tent to collect water and pool. If you have used it in the rain, did this happen to you?
Hi, yes I used in the rain but it wasn’t heavy. Just consistently raining. I’m doing another review soon after a couple of years later. It’s been fun but I have a few concerns others should think of before buying
I just bought a stingray and have a question. Have you ever used smaller trees than their recommended “40 cm diameter” trees. If so have you ever encountered any problems? Thanks
Thanks for the great videos guys, its great to be with you on your journey. Look forward to the next adventure!

Will Haltom I have and no issues. Just make sure the stump is thicker for tree support
