- HI EVERYONE!!! :3 I am back with some heartwarming cats content!! had a lot of fun with this and also tried some different features like sketchy lineart and traditional-like painted bgs! This is probably the quickest animated map part i have ever made by the way!!! I spent 2 weeks, including breaks and school time.
See a lot of mistakes here as always, but i dont wanna upset!! ^^ perfectionism is very bad!!!!

I love how rock looks confused when fallen leaves opens his arms to hug him 🥰❤️
I love how Jayfeather/Rock just folds into the hug, it somehow adds a realistic/natural touch to the movement that I find really impressive
Also Fallen's laugh as he's hugging Jay and the little pat on the back are just adorable touches!
This MAP part is just amazing, you did a wonderful job capturing the emotion ❤
That hug is soooo wholesome I love how weight and cuddly bit of them look especially fallen leaves

This is a good part of MAP, but in my opinion it doesn't fit here that Rock pats Leaf on the back like they're good friends. It doesn't fit a little bit with the romantic relations.
In general in the original sketch this situation came out more romantic, and it was the best moment. The strange behavior of the two male cats is throwing off the rhythm and, in my opinion, doesn't fit this wonderful moment.
The animation is very fluid and poignant, but I felt a bit discombobulated during my first viewing.

@@MANCHKIN I think it is. When Leaf bumps into Jayfeather, the latter blushes slightly embarrassed, both tom cats at various times tried to grab each other's paws, and when that failed they blushed slightly embarrassed. At the end, according to Cheeteh Z's sketch, they also say goodbye in a sweet way. So yes, I think there is a slightly visible seed of love there.
@@Night_Hover excuse me, but in cheeteh's sketch I haven't seen romantic relations. It's only yours vision and I think you shouldn't blame Manch kinda she didn't do enough. Idk... I think this is a very amazing part and Manch gave a lot of time and effort for this. Please, don't discount this.

@@keyfield Forgive Manch and fennoiro. I realize that my comment may have come across as negative towards Manch's work. And although I didn't express it in my comment, I really appreciate Manch's part in the MAP and am happy to see that one of my favorite animators took part in this wonderful MAP. In my first comment, I left out all the qualities that I matured in this animation by Manch, and I understand that you might have felt offended. You immediately set yourself up to defend Manch. The animation is great, fluid, and captures a lot of emotion in a few seconds. Everything in it is brilliantly animated, and Manch is on my list of favorite animators. I just wanted to share my concerns because I wanted to know what Manch was thinking when she created it. In my opinion it was a romance, but if anyone thinks otherwise, including Manch, they have every right to interpret it in their own way. I hope you are not too offended by this misunderstanding. And I apologize if you felt I was imposing my own vision on you. Really great part and you are a really genial animator, Manch.
And English is not my native language either, so I'm afraid what others will think of what I've clicked here :').
