I love the “Beware One Eye” sign that Tigerstar destroys.
Signifying that even among the Dark Forest cats, One Eye is something to be feared.
Now Imagine One Eye in the great battle slaughtering dark forest cats a la Doom slayer
I think it’s more of a “was to be feared” as he seemed terrified of TigerStar and TigerStar tore down the sign with such ease.

Using a cat jaw as a crown is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. It's unbelievably creative while also being super aesthetically perfect and fits the character.

the fact that this isn’t even the final product and is just the storyboard but still gave me chills says a lot, i haven’t read warriors in ages but am still very excited to see the finished MAP!
They actually look like they're having a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind being a Dark Forest cat if it's always like this down there.
Also I am really looking forward to see this finished. Such a cool concept, and judging by the storyboard alone, I can tell already that this is going to be one of those iconic Warriors maps!

Can you say which time Brokenstar appear? I'm really want to know the name of a cat that I like, but I don't know his name.
Watching this, I sorta hoped for the "pumpkin king" to be One-eye, since he kinda created the dark forest and all that, but this storyboard is hecking gorgeous nonetheless. Can wait to see the finished product!
true but Tigerstar was WAY more involved with the dark forest's training and frankly had more of an impact of the clans than one-eye
Still One Eye seems to have *some* power over the cats as they seem to fear him (Besides Tigerstar of course) :>
I hoped too that the pumpkin king was One Eye, but hey, at least it's not Mapleshade
@@DoctorWhoXIII mapleshade is perfectly eligible to being a leader of the dark forest tho? i feel like all the cats in the df who had an impact on the clans deserves a place in the hierarchy, there should be multiple leaders if im honest
@@stvrfang i agree, and mapleshade also did a lot of recruiting/manipulating as it’s seen in spottedleaf’s heart that she even tried to convince her

I re-watching this every day until the final concept.
People have done this before it's just they haven't been as ambitious as this. It takes a large amount of creativity and originality to work something out like this. Most people prefer to just make edgy book-related maps w/o realizing that the books just simply suck and in order to make them better you just have to go off the rails.

The part/voice chosen for Tigerstar fits him so well, a powerful, deep booming voice that's also very confident and proud. This storyboard and concept is absolutely amazing, can't wait for the finished map!
I wonder if the "Shadow of the moon and night" (1:46) is Ashfur watching them from StarClan.

I love how some of it was kept and some of it was changed, like the view of the dark forest cats was zoomed in and Jayfeather fell into instead of walking, and the fact that maple shades character also had changed design. Amazing animation tho!

2 years later i still think this is the best map yet made! all of you put so much AMAZING work into this project and it surely paid off

ahhh i’ve been going crazy over this for like 10 minutes this storyboard is so GOOD I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! it seems like it was super fun to make….i know nothing of these characters, but the little long cat dude in the beginning is super cool. Cant wait to see this when it becomes a finished MAP!!
This is from a book series called Warrior cats, tho all of these characters are in costumes. I will i dont k ow EVERYTHING about the books but there are so many MAPs and videos on CZcams that you could probably understand most things about it just by reserching

I would like ask if this'll be the only time we'll see these beautiful versions of the Dark forest cats? I am absolutely in love with the designs and their "abilities" like Hawkfrost's floating ability, One eye's symmetry, Batear being a literal BAT

Haven’t read the books in a while, pretty sure he killed babies and killed his dad, put apprentices and under as warriors, and disobeyed the code in general.
thats brokenstar, he's killed multiple cats, created child soldiers and led them into death both in battle and by his own hands, assassinated his father to gain leadership, exiled the elderly cats of the clan and willingly left them to starve, chased out another clan of cats to take territory, conspired with tigerstar, the list goes on and on

O.M.G. I wasn't here when the map call came out and hadn't even heard of it until the buzz rose up in the community. I was seeing map parts for this everywhere and they all looked great! After seeing Sagutoyas part I decided to finally check out the map call and boy am I glad I did! This is going to be the map of the season! What a wonderful idea this is, I'm so excited!! 👌✨
