All their evolutions are really great. They performed this live on at least one of their tours. I always like it when reactors experience it on the Popspring 2016 live video that includes this plus three original Pentatonix songs. It's a great quality video because it was filmed by MTV.
They have microphones because they are recording the audio at the same time, whereas in regular videos, they are just filming the visual. All of their "Evolution of" videos are like this.
If you like songs that are bass/percussion-heavy, I suggest their cover of Can't Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (they rap in it as well). Also, their original, Love Again, is amazing. Insane bass and drums, plus super cool visuals.
You should hear them LIVE...check out "2016 PopSpring" concert. They sing 4 of their own songs in the video. It was sponsored by MTV, so the audio and video are truly 1st class. This will give you an idea how they perform live in concert, which you should go to one of their converts near you !!
Crazy thing is- that this evolution is definitely amazing but they are SO MUCH better now! 😂. Believe me, I’ve seen them ten times since they’ve been around and I can totally tell that this was in their earlier years 😂❤

Yes, Pentaholics are very relentless about their “Headphones for Humanity” project 😁. I always want to wear headphones, but I won’t beat you over your headphone-less head with it. 😜😁
When doing these evolutions, PTX will throw in some fun transitions, like singing "Why, Why?" from "Human Nature" and following it with " 'Cause this is thriller".
Their Evolutions are just amazing. They do these in one take. They do it a few times and post the best one. Very minimal post production like maybe a little balancing and reverb. They can transition better than anyone. They do this live along with three other songs, Google Pentatonix at Popsprings. I think this was an MTV special and their part was filmed in Japan.
Of course headphones will make it easier to hear every tiny little nuance. But to say you HAVE to wear headphones to appreciate PTX is not much of a compliment to their talent. Either way, another great reaction!
I was just being a grump haha. I wear headphones for nearly 25+ hours a week during the live show , so I let me ears breath a tad when doing the reactions haha. No harm or disrespect was intended ❤️🤘

Try listening to this song later with headphones (off camera) and see if you missed anything? Some people have a good enough set up that they don’t miss things, but it’s rare.

I hope you don’t believe everything you hear about Michael Jackson. I considered that the story against him might be somewhat true but did not want to believe it. I did research. What I discovered was that the fault for this documentary was due to Oprah Winfrey saying things while pointing at MJ while three fingers pointed back at her. My research exposed some things about Oprah that caused me to not believe a word against MJ. Don’t believe what I say, do your own research, but please love MJ for his wonderful talent. He had a horrible childhood and really did try to make up for a lost childhood and to help others to have great memories. Don’t believe everything you hear. Michael Jackson deserves our respect for his musical talent/gift and I believe also for just who he was/is in spite of him being different. Great review and reaction.
That documentary destroyed my love for him. Just was too much evidence after multiple trials before that….but, his music is timeless. I still tap my toes when I hear my jam from him 🤷♂️
If you have good speakers, don't worry about the headphones. You don't need them. If you're just using the computer speakers, yeah, you're missing out on a lot of nuances.

But after nearly 6200 youtube reactions, it feels weird wearing them and changing my voting format. Plus, I need my ears to breathe haha. I estimate I wear headphones about 30+ hours a week bc of the live show. I’m sure I miss some small stuff bc of that, but I doubt it’s much. Only saying that bc I view and react to nearly everyone at the same volume with the same setup otherwise. Hope you can understand and hope to see you during the live show sometime over on twitch 🤘
