    Hi Gig Nation:
    Thank you for the very informative video. As I watched your video there was an annoying, somewhat high pitched hum in the background. I do not know if the problem is on my end or yours. However, I thought I would let you know about it.
    Again, much thanks for doing a great job on your gig economy video. I wish you the best of success and profitability in 2021!

    I would've said a month or 2 ago that DD was paying well. I noticed you didn't say that we keep 100% of tips with them. Now I get paid only $1 plus tips, no milage or anything. And tips are included in the guarantee. I will take the same delivery on Grubhub and make $10 rather than $4-$5 on DD. Postmates might even pay more now.

    • @lorimast
      @lorimast Před 2 lety

      @@Momma_AL it had been paying more and then they changed their fee structure. They had offers that would say $6-$8 and then the payout showed $1 plus a tip. I quit DD so I have no clue if they smartened up since then. I deliver in Lincoln, Nebraska and GH pays me MUCH better than DD ever did.

    I’ve been doing Doordash full time for almost 4 years and added Ubereats about 2 years ago. No boss, no backstabbing coworkers, no waiting for my pay, no regrets.
    HOWEVER, Postmates stole all of my tips from Christmas Day 2019. I called to inquire about them and I was on hold for 2 hours. When they finally took my call, they basically picked up and hung up. Ya, like that. They were taken over by Ubereats a month later.
