Lower Paxton Township unveils new dog kennel to help reunite stray dogs with their owners

If you are looking for your lost dog, the new dog kennel in Lower Paxton Township may be a way to locate them. Police say they pick up multiple strays a week in Lower Paxton, so the township created a kennel to make it easier for their owners to find them.
The kennel gives the township time to locate the owners before taking the dogs to the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area.
The township collaborated with a construction company and students from Dauphin County Technical School to create the kennel.
The students helped with welding, painting, and other construction work.
Happy endings do exist, so don't give up on finding your dog. Check the kennel before the shelter.
The kennel is located behind the Lower Paxton Township Maintenance Center.
