this is a classic. first of all they shot this IN ONE TAKE! Second they manage to retain masculinity in a ballad with all guys on stage. Amazing movie and scene!!!
That is what I heard, it almost got cut from the movie but someone went to bat for it and it stayed in. I'm glad it is there as it fits in perfect with the film.

This song almost didn't make it into the film because some of the suits at the movie company thought it was too suggestive (this was the more conservative 1950s of course).
I swear I MUST know this: was the whole "a man can't sleep when he sleeps with sheep" an amazing tribute to Involuntary Puns? did they mean it? (I mean, the Italian translation makes me think the pun was totally intended, but maybe that's just my sick imagination)
