Ange uses an inverted full-back tactic, a tactic that does not work in the Premier League.
The tactic of raising the defensive line is very vulnerable to counterattacks and is also a tactic that consumes a lot of stamina on the center back defender. That's why VDV gets injured often. Either they fix that trashy tactic or Ange goes out.
It only works with players that aren't lazy at any point. There needs to be fierce competition for positions so players are always fighting for the starting spot. That what Ange is trying to implement that's worked everywhere else he has been. There is no competition at spurs. Spurs squad aren't not at that point yet.

You guys need to chill out.i follow essendon which is an Australian rules football club. The comparison to tottenham is amazing. Top 4 club.won nothing in 25 years.last year new coach. On fire for the 2 thirds of the season. Then it all fell apart, absolutely horrible. This year went and got 4 players and so far 5 wins,1 draw,2 losses. But our style of play is a joy to watch and will just get better. So keep the faith.

After careful analysis I think I have understood the team's problem. The problem is that Ange is never going to criticize these players, but he knows and sees it himself that in the offensive phase all the players are ready to occupy the places, but in the event of losing the ball (which happens a lot and frustrates some players because they consider that it tires the whole team for a technical lack of an individual) the whole team is not concerned with preventing the transition of the opposing team. I remember at the start of the season we often had counter-attacks even when we played against a castle Arsenal and even City I can also add Liverpool inside every time we could keep the ball there was a counter-press which was applied in such a way that the opposing team rushes and the counter-attack is canceled and therefore easily recover the ball the other pressing account is low at the moment because you don't know either the players are tired or it's up to cause of doing it too much in the same match and he gets frustrated.
I truly believe and have done for a few years, that there are sections of our player base who don’t want the club to succeed because it means they’ll be replaced by better players as the club looks to improve and it’s easy to trail off at the end of the season because you know how much you can let up to be “just shy” of top 4
Players maybe, but Ange doesn't doubt himself - Ange will be confident of Success and Trophies coming his way as always.

Angeball isn't workable in the premier league unless you are vastly superior to the opposition as was the case in Scotland. Dismissing totally the need to address set pieces for example makes him seem amateurish to a dressing room full of international players.

Finally you're seeing what i have for absolutely ages. The Fulham game was, for me, a similar game to when AVB lost 0-3 at home to West Ham. That was the death knell for him, and the Fulham game is for Ange.

If you look into what the individual players do you clearly see it's not Ange fault. You don't miss place passes or fail to beat your man because of tactics. @@BigtiggerP
@@samkzl2304 It's all about opposition XG after our misplaced pass and I find it unacceptably high. It's easy to misplace the pass or fail to beat the defender if opposition knows what you are going to do next. EPL has very good managers and players who learn and adjusted to our way of playing.

We had very very tough games in a row pretty much, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Every time there's a little bit of trouble, we hear these rumors that the manager has lost the dressing room. Again!? If that is the case then all I can say is the players at Tottenham are very fickle and give up easily. I doubt it's a matter of Euros and Copa America because in that case all top teams would be playing safe. I really think it's just an unfortunate run of tough fixtures one after another and the sudden upturn in other team's forms. Newcastle recently doing better, Chelsea smashing teams for fun, Arsenal obviously going for the title and Liverpool wanting to end on a high note. Man City will be the same. Realistically we can only beat Burnley and Sheffield and then next season we'll see.
Tbf I’ve watched spurs at home 4 times this season and thought they were lucky and didn’t think they played well in fact I would say completely frustrating. Also we ain’t got 5 th yet !

You can't make a huge impact in the prem like you can in Japan and Australia (Celtic is different, though they were a shambles when he took over).
The prem in the law of diminishing returns has far less room for improvement, and need way more work.
In all cases I understand but no better its sign of the fact that keep confidence because in fact he has already understood what is wrong in the team it is not to be fanatic but I saw I took that coach and the good solution to all of Tottenham's problems he makes of his mentality because even the greatest coaches I saw that we said thoroughly and the opponent superior to them wants they will change to try to make adaptation but he he assures me he tells me no matter what birthday I want to play against I will always play the same and I will try to dominate the matches I don't know about you but for me that alone is to satisfy him because I know that once he 'we will have understood once that our team is at the level no matter the girls we are going to play against we will play with this same desire and that is enough to satisfy me
I think that some players have realised they're not fitting the system and probably think they're on the way out! That is bad for motivation.
Skipp just showed he wants to stay, and that is what we need. I think the cleanout is underway and they just don't see themselves. Its rubbing off on some of the other players.

Ange always says qualifying for the Champions League is not important but which elite player is willing to come to the team if the team is not even Champions League material? How's that going to help in the transfer window to rebuild when good players are not interested.
one more thing Angel knows how to adapt for everything that is going to go directly adapts he doesn't play and I don't when you go back you look at the way he played with the previous teams it changes it changes there has been readjustment try evolve even itself that no it takes the best coaches and that we count our own source to have a juice which is fluid enough and strong enough let's stay calm for the first time since Poch left just contains the right coach but still once if I have a reproach to make to the coach on the fact that he has not launched a young person this year he expected that a young person from the Academy would start this year but even for that I can say that in fact I know not playing this match of the season to slow down the progress of young players and their accessibility to the first team

Its so obvious Ange's style can work you just need energetic cutthroat players , we dont have that . We should be searching near and far ,Championship , France, asia,the world not just Italy. It not just about spending on the biggest profile its also about detailed scouting strategies..Sell Kulu, Bissouma,Richie, maybe even Bentecur none of these are Ange players will generate a money. Other teams have figured out how to stop the Spurs and they have become effective doing it while Tottenham has not figured out how to play in tight spaces against low blocking teams. Liverpool ignored our wide players and kept their low block formation. The same with Arsenal. And other teams have figured out how to get at Tottenham on the ball in Tottenham’s attacking zone and breezed through their counter-attacks. Our midfielders don’t provide quality passes to the front third either.
How long has it taken Arteta to achieve this PL winning contender for arsenal?

How can the players have a belief when the media, social media and CZcams "experts" are continuingly going on about which players need to be sold/are not right for Ange's style of play. Yes some players will have to go (Ange has acknowledged that) but all the noise about their futures can not instill in them a desire to finish the season strongly. I put some of the blame on these "experts" for the results Spurs are getting. Bearing in mind that none of these "experts" have played or managed football at any serious level.

You two ever think of becoming PL managers, I'm nearly 70 been a Spurs fan since I was six. Saw us win many Trophies, sad thing is Spurs fans are the biggest moaners. Conte got us into the CL, was not backed told the truth about Spurs players mentality and you are seeing it again. Ange the hero is now Ange the villain has us in 5th place after all the injuries players going away for weeks to play in Mickey Mouse cups. Ange said from the start the team was not good enough, he has also before when he had players not playing his way they are out the door. He knows who the dead wood are, we are were we are with out a striker he should be given the chance to build his team, we do not need arm chair managers spouting of about him losing the dressing room. Teams not good enough Spurs will shift a lot of players out, and will buy players he wants if he fails then we will be looking for yet another manager.

But big picture 5th. No Kane, just played Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, who are all above us and better. He has been here 10 months. Fans are a big problem for this club it seems. Unrealistic expectations, Arteta, Klopp both made massive changes, fans questioned their methods for the first 2 years. Perhaps we should look at that? You guys love Ange and I get it. He comes across as a very likeable person and fair play to that. But he's totally out of his depth here, and it's clear that the players don't trust him anymore. And I can't really blame them for that, when the system we adopted under Postecoglu doesn't give anyone any confidence. Asked yourself truthfully, how many games this season have been won in a convincing manner? We scored lots of last minute winners in games where you should be in a comfortable position from HT. But no, we're always losing then. And it's so immature to say that we played 10 15 mins of good football here and there against Arsenal and Liverpool. Yes, we did when we were well beaten and the opposition switched off completely.
It’s funny you should mention that it doesn’t give players confidence. I’ve seen interviews with Maddison, Son, Davies, Werner, VDV etc all state that the biggest thing Ange gives them is confidence to play attacking football and not be afraid to make a pass or take the game on and that if mistakes are made Ange will encourage them to go again and he will take the blame. I’ve literally seen them all mention it.
It is why they concede stupid goals from dodgy passes in the back 3rd by Romero, Bissouma, Hojberg etc. it’s just dodgy lazy execution that causes those turnovers.
I will say however that set pieces are concerning but I have no doubt they will be fixing the issue. It may be a leadership issue in setting up at set pieces, or it may be in Ange.

Of course, they'll go on and say only positive things about the managing staff in the interviews, their performance and body language on the pitch says the exact opposite. I disagree with you in saying that we're conceding because of dodgy passes in the back 3rd. We're conceding a lot because of the stupid high line, we're losing the ball around the opposition's box, playing ineffective football by switching it from side to side with no real intent to do anything, and 2 long passes later they're 1v1 with Vicario. And we would have conceding a ton more if it wasn't for VdVs pace. Our HT stats are shocking, losing 10 out of the last 15 games. I can only imagine how "inspiring" the HT speeches might have been. On the set pieces, you got Jedinak doing the defensive work and Mason doing the attacking one. The results are obvious for everyone to see, but not for Postecoglu. In my opinion is a massive gamble keeping him for another season and letting him buy 5-6 average wingers to suit his phantasmagoric football.

HOW can such a fantastic start of the season come to MANAGER OUT???...Easy, Levy hired the wrong bloke!...SORRY SpursY mates, he isnt and never has been and wont ever be a EPL manager...Sticks out like dogBalls now BUT Ive been saying it all along...Early in the season they beat who they should have with the squad strength(except Liverpool,that was a draw against 9 men)...A rough patch revealed how shallow the squad was...From then on, it's inconsistency of the manager not adapting to the moment and HE has not got the ability to get the team UP when they need to be(every week btw).NOW, hes saying there needs to be change( selling off players)...HOWEVER, thats not the problem.HE has told the opposition that his system doesn't change, so the smart guys beat him easily...IF, some new players come in, they firstly have to learn to play his style BUT against other managers who have a plan to nullify TH gameplay...AND theres no adjustment...The solution is simple...ANGE OUT!
