A very detailed DIY on this trigger install for the 15-22 thanks for sharing brother.

You get light primer strikes for anything less then 4lbs with the 15-22. Had the jp spring for a little and roughly 1 out of 20 had a lps. Switched it back and it ran perfectly.

Another great tutorial, that looks like an awesome trigger. I ordered another 15-22 tonight from PSA, actually paid the same price I did 8 years ago and free shipping. I'll be doing some upgrades to it, mainly the buttstock and probably the trigger. Cheers brother!

I bought the curved trigger from cmc and I called them and told them I was putting it into a 15-22 sport and the sent me pins that were longer than the stock pins that came with the trigger. They fit the lower perfect. Very happy with the light trigger pull.

Great video. I bought a 15-22 that had been modified with a Timney Impact AR drop in trigger. This trigger is now not supported by Timney for the 15-22. Too many issues I guess. I have the CMC and the original M&P trigger and will put one one in. Your video will be a great assist. Thanks.

Excellent upgrade, however as you mentioned about the possibility of binding, the 15-22 specific pins from CMC eliminate that problem. When I upgraded my 15-22 trigger to the CMC, I received the standard AR length pins. A quick call to CMC and they sent me the 15-22 pins free. There is no possibility of binding with them.
That was a couple years ago so I don't know if they will send them free any more.
Also look into the Battlearms Development Ambi- safety specific for the 15-22, another great upgrade for about 50 bucks.

you need the snap cap in there for .22, it's not good to slam your steal firing pin into the steal of the barrel when dry firing...

  • @larrybaker5316

I put a CORE 3 1/2 pull in my AR, works great!, put the CORE 3 1/2 pull in my Ar15-22 and had lots of fail to fire, even with 4-5 different brands of .22lr., did this trigger fire ok in your 15-22? Core said I could send mine back for testing and if it was bad they would replace n/c under the fantastic warranty. I really like the CORE in my big AR, crisp, clean pulls every time. Any thoughts? ?

Can someone please tell me how I can add a bottom rail to the hand guard on the new 15-22 sport model? The new one doesn't come with the quad rail anymore :( . I want to install that angled fore grip just like in this video. Thank you!!

    • @georgedasani

They have accessory rails available, just find one that is M-lok compatible. BCM and magpul both make rails that can be installed with that M-lok handguard

Magpul SL. There are several versions available. Make sure you get the “SL” version. I’m using the MOE SL MIAD 1.1 grip with the oil bottle insert. It comes with extra parts like a Glock grip does, there’s an option for a finger groove in the front, and several backs with and without beaver tails.
