Thank you for sharing! I’m Black 🇺🇸 (Louisiana Creole) and when I heard the language, I knew that it was the one I was supposed to be speaking; it brought tears to my eyes and a calming to my heart when I heard the language for the first time. I ended up finding out my maternal ancestry is Fulbe (Niger w/ ancient ties to NE Africa). It all makes sense; my family always passed the oral history of the women “tackling (restraining) cows/bulls” and too, my maternal ancestors look almost identical to former First Lady Aissa Diori. Thanks once again 🙏🏾!
