    Thank you again. This hero has so much nuance and depth! I think I am in the right lane here. Keep up the great work. 🎉

    I love watching these videos and getting the insight's for Uzuri. I'm landing very much mid table in all my local armouries and keep watching these for some potential tips to tip me over the scale and get into the Top Cuts!
    I also think that Already Dead now has a great place in this deck, the capability to banish equipment from a dominate turn or even banish D Reacts and generate silver is absolutely nuts

    Video came out at the right time, this is exactly the kind of list i was looking for!
    Videos are getting longer and longer, but worth the time nonetheless, thank you for the video!

    Whats your thoughts on Already Dead in this Deck?
    I would guess it doesn't really fit that well?

      For my Uzuri deck it was a direct upgrade... blocks 3, has a potential to remove annoying equipment from the game

    Is Life for a Life a consideration for “Go Again” cards? It essentially can be a 1 for 5 on hit, and it’s conditional Go Again is trivial to achieve. (With no deckbuilding requirements)
    “Life for a Life” is a 1 for 4 (at red), blocks 2. If it hits you gain 1 life. When you play this card, if you have lower life than your opponent, “Life for a Life” gains Go Again.

    • @soybeansthefirst4275
      @soybeansthefirst4275 Před 10 měsíci

      Also curious about “Even Bigger than That!”
      EBTT! = Opt 3, then look at top card, potentially creating an Quicken Token

    • @ThePlagueHive
      @ThePlagueHive  Před 10 měsíci

      The condition is easy to achieve in theory, but in practice Uzuri tends to be at either life parity or actually above the opponent's life total for quite a bit of the match due to the nature as a defensive deck. This is the same reason why Scar for a Scar isn't played in Uzuri a lot - you cannot guarantee that the go again will be active in any given situation, at least not without taking damage that might be unneccessary to take. If you go for a very aggressive build that really only tries to race, it might be worth testing it out though.

    • @ThePlagueHive
      @ThePlagueHive  Před 10 měsíci

      @@soybeansthefirst4275 EBTT has actually seen play recently in Contract Uzuri builds because chaining multiple contracts together provides exponential value and it's fairly easy to turn on with daggers. I don't think it's a good fit in a red heavy stealth build, as you won't dagger quite as much, blue stealth cards don't work with it and the go again on a stealth card can be "wasted" if you swap it in.

    Is there anything to be said about Razor Reflex?

    • @nathanrhoades6504
      @nathanrhoades6504 Před 10 měsíci

      It’s a sharp pick

    • @ondrejzienert4401
      @ondrejzienert4401 Před 10 měsíci

      Cost 1 and defence 2 is a major hinderance. But could be an option if you want to go wide and does not have many targets for Tunic as Tunic counter solves the problem no1

    • @nathanrhoades6504
      @nathanrhoades6504 Před 10 měsíci

      @@ondrejzienert4401 I like razor reflex if part of your plan is to go tall with your stealth cards. I’ve seen some spicy lists that instead of swapping in a 6 attack just spike with poison on an isolate and now stealth is hitting. If you have stealth and a 2/6 to swap and have a full hand you need something to do beyond just using those two and the options seem to be lean into attack reacts or go again attacks.
      Go again on stealth is so strong and razor is one of the few ways to get it or you get stuck. I like pitch blue, spike a stealth card with bloodrot and razor for 11 then go again into like a death touch from arsenal or codex.

    Perhaps I missed it, but why run only 1 AB?

    • @ThePlagueHive
      @ThePlagueHive  Před 10 měsíci +2

      On 12 blues, you don't often have the resources to actually pitch an entire blue just to prevent damage. Also, if you do have the blue, it pays for the 2 to stop a discard from an Insidious Chill or fused Aether Icevein and you have 1 resource left that you can use to prevent some damage, using your resources as efficiently as possible. Therefore, not running AB3 saves you valuable sideboard space.
      If you run a higher blue count, going with AB3 is absolutely an option, but it's ultimately up to personal preference. As Tom explains in the video, his strategy for dealing with Iyslander was trying to push Inertia on them to disrupt their turn cycle, not pitching to AB to soak damage. It doesn't always work out, especially against a pure arcane Iyslander like we faced in the test game, but it's a solid strategy.

      @@ThePlagueHive thanks for the answer! I guess playing VS Kano was not an option

    • @ThePlagueHive
      @ThePlagueHive  Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@rotopaj Kano is a matchup that a lot of people just sacrifice. Actually getting that to be favoured warps your deck too much and makes a lot of your other matchups way worse for how rare it actually is to encounter a Kano at a competitive event.
      If you have a Kano player locally that is giving you a hard time it's a different thing of course, there I can absolutely see running AB3, a higher blue count and Oasis Respite for example.
